Relax in our Charleston-style waterfront home on beautiful Lake Hartwell. This quiet getaway is located on a quiet cul-de-sac hidden from the hustle and bustle of everyday and situated on an alcove tucked just off of big water. We have gone to great lengths to make this a comfy home away from home with all the ammenities you want in a vacation rental.
This 2,700-sq.ft. home has hardwood floors, plush leather furniture, stainless steel appliances, wireless internet, DIRECTV, dining room table, coffee table doubles as dining table for kids, a work nook with Dell printer, a playroom, swim towel/toy nook, and a fully-equipped laundry room.
Sleeping & Floor Details –
Third floor has 2 bedrooms with brand new luxury quality mattresses, a 320 sq. ft. master bath with jetted tub, stand-up shower, dual vanity, a separate water closet, and access to the top, front porch; and the work nook.
The main level serves as the public space with the kitchen, dining area, living room, pantry, half bathroom, playroom/kid’s room, screened porch and a deck. Additional highlights include a large screen HDTV with expanded DIRECTV, wireless internet, foldout twin sofabed, TV/DVD in playroom (plug-in ready for favorite game systems), board games & puzzles, fully-equipped kitchen, grill, hammock, and more.
Ground floor has: 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom with tub/shower combo and dual vanity, and a swim towel/toy nook. Additional sleeping options: a twin fold-out sofa bed (in playroom), an Aero-bed, 2 fold-out extra long twin beds, and a pack-n-play.

The front of the house has 2 long porches. The back side of the house has 2 decks, 2 screened porches, & a large patio that offers a variety of space for outdoor activites. The 3rd level has a furniture set for 2 and a hammock to enjoy the peace and quiet atop the trees. The main level screened porch has a table that seats 6, a chargriller charcoal grill, and child-sized adirondack chairs. The 1st level has adult-sized adirondack chairs to sit and enjoy the up-close view of the lake.
We are on a gentle-sloped lot that is within 65-feet from house to the waterfront along a shaded concrete path. No long uphill/downhill hikes! We have a covered deep water dock with electrical and water service. You’ll enjoy spending the entire day on the dock and swimming in the protected lake alcove – out of the wind, waves and boat traffic. Grab a floatchair and float your worries away! Like the name says, this is “Hartwell Heaven”!
Hartwell Heaven is less than 90 minutes from the Atlanta metro area, only 45 minutes from downtown Greenville (SC), and just over 2 hours to Charlotte making this an easy weekend or full-week getaway. Conveniently located less than 15 minutes from Anderson (SC), you can find all the restaurants, shopping and entertainment needs of a larger city. For Clemson University alumni and fans, we are located only 20-25 minutes from the campus by car, or you can take your boat for a pleasurable cruise up the Seneca River and dock nearby “Death Valley”.

The grounds are awful. No yard at all and my brother in law used his equipment to trim the trees and bushes that were hitting our trucks and cars. The fire pit has settled and you cannot sit in the back chairs. No chairs on dock! No chairs on front porch. Rusted out stuff under porch and in yard. Grill and oven were filthy!! Grill had roaches and a downstairs bed had a live roach in it! The kitchen is not conducive to cooking! . We washed everything before using it!!! Two old blue towels in upstairs bathroom. The floors were not clean. We washed two of the dirty rugs! The holders in the drawers for utensils were dirty. The frying pan had all the black scratched off and metal showing. There are spider webs everywhere as well as dead bushes . The bottom step outside is rotting and pulled loose from the lower deck. The third floor uncovered deck is rotten. We had no tv for 24 hours. They finally fixed the issue and it and one other tv worked . 4 did not. Th furniture is fine but old. . Sofas are comfortable and ac is good!!! There is no bedroom on main level and no master bath.l the upstairs bath is the size of a large bedroom and has a soaker tub. We cleaned the oven and grill before we could use hem. If the grounds had been even a little bit nice it would hav helped! Outdoor living at the lake!!!

When we arrived, the odor on the front porch was a combination of dog urine and rotten over full trash cans at the end of the driveway. Once inside the house was clean and welcoming. This was the second time we vacationed at this location and after the first hiccup, we enjoyed it very much.

Two families stayed at this location for a high school fishing tournament. Great location close to town and a couple of good restaurant. Good swimming off the dock for hot days with shade on beach in afternoon to cool down. Power at the dock to charge up boats every day for fishing. We all had a great time for the week we stayed. .

We love lake hartwell and this is our second time renting this house there. Something’s could be done to improve the situation but over all we are always happy with our stay. Property manager should probably be replaced. Small things are always neglected like light bulbs being blown and and no hand towels in the bathroom. Over all 8.5/10

Home accommodated all members of family.
Outdoor living space was the place to be. The back porches and firepit area were shaded by tall full trees which allowed for outdoor seating with a touch of the lake breeze. Easy walk to boat dock. Location was convenient and close to nearby park ramp.
Enjoyed bopping in the water off the dock too. Ladder available on dock for easy access to swimming.
Local residents were nice and safe in the water with their water vehicles. Highly recommend this home!

The property was as advertised with plenty of room for our extended family. We spent most of our time outside on the dock or in the lake. Wish there were screens on the windows do that we could have opened up the house as the weather was very nice Otherwise it was perfect

Perfect layout for 7 people and one dog.
We all enjoyed are stay and we would rent again. Front door lock is a little tricky but we got it figured out.
My suggestion is get the wifi password before you arrive bc you won't have an connection until you sign in.

Thw house was amazing,but the extra touches provided made it that much more amazing. The snacks were definitely a hit for our crew. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The house is very home like. However,the Master bathroom...is every woman's dream!! We definitely will stay here again when we are in Anderson.

This was a perfect location for us as we have kids a half hour from here in 2 different areas. For a family it would be great as well. It is not fancy but it is casual and meets all the needs of a lake home with plenty of space. The owner was easily accessible as well. We would stay here again.

Beautiful house right on the lake. Lots of room inside. Only drawback is there is no bedroom or full bath on main floor. We had one in our group that has two prosthetic legs and she had to maneuver a lot of stairs. Front door is sticky from the outside - requires big push to get open. Owner was reachable and helped us get door open.

We were in town for the Bassmaster High School National Championship. The house was less than 10 minutes from Green Pond Landing. The house provided plenty of space for our two families and the location on Lake Hartwell was ideal. The dock was perfect for keeping the boats in the water during prefishing and just hanging out in the evenings. We’ll be back!

We had a great time at this house. It was perfect for our kids and grandkids. We loved swimming off the dock and taking the boat out. We would definitely consider returning in the future.

We ate most of our meals at the house, and while we didn't cook anything too adventurous, we found the kitchen stocked with what we needed to cook. We rented a boat for our stay, and the dock is an easy walk from the basement of the house and has an empty slip for guests. We also had our two kayaks, and the dock was large enough for us to keep those at the water as well. The hosts are very helpful. We had a question about the dock before we arrived, and we received an immediate answer. The internet was out when we arrived, and the hosts took care of working with Spectrum and coordinating the repair. I enjoyed how close the house is to Sadlers Creek Park. I took our dog for walks there every day. We also enjoyed the easy trip into Anderson for the meals we did eat out and a little shopping. There is a really nice Ingles less than 10 minutes away that was perfect for grabbing food to grill for dinner and anything we forgot!

House was great, well stocked kitchen, clean bathrooms etc. Only thing that I had a little trouble with was all the stairs. I'm 70 and have a knee that can act up. Other than that, it was a great 4-night getaway.
