About this house rental
The perfect rental home while in Ouray. Jeep or hike or swim in the hot springs, then walk to restaurants, grocery store, shops, bars, and waterfalls from this 3 bedroom home. Sleeps 7, queen, queen, double, and a twin. Wait until you see my large, well-stocked kitchen. Comfortable living/kitchen/dining area, nice fenced yard with table and chairs for dining outside under the Aspen trees, covered deck off the master bedroom, laundry room, non-barking dog OK with additional deposit, barbecue. Plenty of parking on the street as our house is on a corner. Owner is a licensed Realtor in the state of Colorado.

We had the best time staying here while in Ouray with our family. The house had everything we needed and was super clean. Loved the yard for the dogs! So close to all the shops and restaurants. Super close to the Perimeter Trail hike around Ouray. Alice was great to communicate with. We highly recommend this place if you’re coming to Ouray!

This was a great place to stay. The house was clean and comfortable. It was conveniently located near the main street, the park and trail access. It was great to have the front yard for dogs. Loved our time here.

Central to everything in Ouray. Easy walk to anything in town. It is clean, cozy, and super comfortable. Appreciated all the amenities like towels for the hot spings and the dog!

The "Alpine House" was an incredible stay for our family of 6 and small dog. The location was perfect for walking the town and a base camp for countless mountain activities. The home and property are very well maintained and Alice was a wonderful host. Absolutely recommend staying in this home and this region!

Perfect location, and just the right size for our family. The kitchen was very well equipped - it was so nice not to have to go buy all the little things you sometimes don’t have at a Vrbo. We enjoyed the games and puzzles and had a wonderful time!

The house is nice and clean and the furniture is quite comfortable. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils. You can eat at the counter sitting on a stool or at the table and chairs. The house has a roomy grass yard which was great for our son's dog. We enjoyed sitting at the table and chairs on the patio at the back of the yard. We were within a very short walking distance to restaurants and shops. We were quite pleased with our stay at Alpine House.

Very convenient location. Just a block from town and many restaurants, shops and groceries. My dog enjoyed the fenced in yard and also the ability to walk to the dog park that was 2 blocks away.

We arrived after dark and the house was very cold. It took a long time to warm up. I understand wanting to keep energy costs down but since it takes so long to warm up maybe raise the temp a little.

We had a wonderful vacation at Alpine house. The property is in an excellent location, close to everything and yet so quiet and peaceful. Very well stocked and had everything we needed. We had a memorable time and plan to return.

This alpine home just off the main street was perfect for our family of 6. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go in town! It was so convenient for restaurants, shopping, swimming, and hiking to walk and not have to park. The house had everything we needed - a well equipped kitchen with all the staples in the pantry, well stocked bathrooms and a washer and dryer with detergent. The host has considered all the things a guest might need while away from their own home and included them in this alpine home. We would definitely stay again!

The house is in a great location, just 1 block from Main Street. Very easy to get to restaurants, shops and hiking trails. The kitchen was well equiped. We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch in the evenings. We would definitely stay here again.

A great place in Ouray!
There are many things about this home and the property manager that were just out of this world.
1. The home is located 1 block away from the main down town area which was within walking distance.
2. The home was pleasantly stocked with items that I have not normally seen or expected in a STR property. The kitchen and utensils / serving items were second to none. They had dog bowls out already for our doggos. They had extra sheets and blankets available for use for the dogs oe outdoors in the yard. This included pool towels to take to the hot springs in town!
3. Very detailed instructions for check in and out process which also included all the extra items of the home and property.
4. Recycling!!!!
5. Wildlife in yard frequently….. I know not her control but so amazing none the less.
6. Tons of games and reading materials.
Really I could continue to go on but this was a great property with an even more thoughtful and caring host! We will be returning on our next mountain getaway.

Great property and property owner
The property is in great shape, just as advertised, and is in a perfect downtown location. Alice was very accessible and helpful. We especially enjoyed the fenced yard, which was perfect for our two dogs, and the wonderful front porch, which was great for reading and relaxing after a day's hike. We intend to come back.

We really enjoyed our stay in Ouray. The house was in a perfect location where we could walk to everything in town. The yard was perfect for my dog. The house had plenty of space for our group of 6 people.
