About this house rental
This 6 bedroom, 3.5 bath private home sleeps up to 14 adults or 16 adults/children. The house was completely rebuilt and beautifully decorated in August 2014! With 2 large living rooms, a spacious fully-appointed kitchen, and private saltwater pool, it’s ready for large families or groups to enjoy!
Nine Palms is located on S Ocean Blvd, directly across the street from the ocean! Public beach access is 90 feet away, less than a minute walk to the beach! Two outdoor showers have been provided so you can rinse the sand off when you return from your day at the beach.
When you need a break from the beach, you can enjoy the large private pool and roomy patio area in the backyard. The newly redone pool is SALTWATER which feels fabulous on the skin! No more burning eyes and itchy skin from chlorine. The pool area has a charcoal grill, patio dining tables with umbrellas, dining chairs, and chaise loungers for your comfort. Make a frozen drink in the blender, kick back, and relax!
The main floor has a spacious full kitchen complete with stainless appliances, granite countertops, and all the tools and gadgets you will need. The dining area, breakfast bar, and living room countertop provide ample eating space in this open floor plan. There is a large living room with lots of seating and a half bathroom that is centrally located. The main floor also has a king bedroom and a queen bedroom with a shared master bathroom. The master bathroom has double sinks, a separate soaking tub, and shower.
The second floor has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a king bedroom and a full-on-full bunk bedroom with a shared bathroom. The bathroom has double sinks and a tub/shower combination. There are two queen bedrooms that share a bathroom located in the hallway just outside the bedrooms. This bathroom has a large walk-in shower. The large second floor living room has plenty of seating and a queen sleeper sofa for extra guests. A few games have also been provided for your enjoyment.
All king and queen bedrooms have Simmons Beautyrest Plush mattresses so you can rest comfortably after your fun-filled days. There are ceiling fans in both living rooms and all bedrooms (except bunk bedroom). The house has bamboo wood floors upstairs, wood-look vinyl downstairs and ceramic tile in the bathrooms.
Both living rooms have 55” LED flat screen TVs, sound bars, and Blu-ray DVD players with video streaming. All bedrooms have LED flat screen TVs and Blu-ray DVD players with video streaming. Time-Warner digital cable television and High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the home.
The home is situated on a street-to-street lot with private parking in the front and back of the house. There is room enough for 7 vehicles so no need to worry about finding parking on the street.
With our convenient North Myrtle Beach location in the highly desirable Windy Hill neighborhood, everything else you could possibly need is only a few minutes away.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this location. After reading the reviews I was aware of features that others weren’t happy with, but this location accommodated my extended family without a problem, including 11 adults, 2 teens, and 2 children. We will be saving this location for future gatherings.

The Windy Hill property Nine Palms was exactly what we were looking for - the beach is across the street just through a public beach access. The neighborhood was very quiet with friendly people walking dogs or exercising. Just minutes away from Hwy 17 Bus and a variety of local eateries, grocery stores and putt-putt golf. The home itself was spacious and beautiful, sitting on a large lot with parking for 4 in the front and more in the back. With 7 adults, a teenager and 2 small kids the six bedrooms meant everyone had a bed of their own. The sea vibe decor was relaxing and just right to set the mood for a beach vacation. The pool area was well kept with enough patio furniture for a family, pool toys and a large charcoal grill. My only regret is that we weren't able to use the pool due to the bad weather. Hands down this was a great property and Nine Palms will be a wonderful memory for my family ❤

This is our third annual Friends trip to the beach! Three families, seven kids from age 8 to 13! What good memories made! It was very easy access to the ocean, the pool was a great Hangout spot for the kids as well. I love that the upstairs had a second living room for the kids to chill out in. It was just what we needed.

We love this house. Our second time staying and it didn’t disappoint again. Roomy, plenty of kitchen items, large refrigerator to accommodate 16 people. Really enjoy the pool and have plenty of seating to enjoy meals and games.

Family vacation took my children and grandchildren my parents also joined us. Location was fantastic walk across the street to beach no packing a vehicle to go to beach was fantastic. Great amenities other than needing some laundry detergent and a few other things it was great. Would definitely stay at this property again.

We absolutely LOVED the property, exactly as advertised. We traveled with 7 kids from ages 1-12 and their parents. Plenty of room for all. Bedrooms were nicely decorated, each family enjoyed separate bathrooms, kitchen was well appointed, high chair and pack n play was convenient, washer/dryer was used daily . . . we used all of the amenities including the grill, pool, outdoor dining tables, used a few beach toys. Quiet street, felt safe, quick, easy access to the beach, convenient location to dining, grocery, venues and ICE CREAM, lol. A few bits of maintenance needed but nothing that caused concern . . .would rent again, 100%

The house was exactly as pictured. Our family had a great time. enough room for everybody. Short walk to the beach, convenient to many activities, shopping and dining. Kitchen was well appointed made preparing large meals easy. Washer and dryer large capacity. Would love to stay here again.

Loved staying at Windy Hill! Plenty of space for our families and teens to spend out. Fully stocked with everything needed to cook and grill out. Very clean. The pool was so fantastic and the walk to the beach took under 3 minutes (we timed it)! Absolutely recommend this rental, and will definitely consider staying here again if visiting Myrtle Beach!

We have stayed at this property 2 out of the last 3 years. The location is excellent and the house has all you need. We love this place!
That being said, we feel the owners need to do some updating and maintenance before next year. The pool deck and pool itself need some work. The house needs some pressure washing, fresh paint, some carpet replacement, some furniture replacement, etc. All of these things are to be expected, but as they say, you have to spend money to make money! We are likely to return next year, but are hoping to see some improvements. This is a very nice place and it’s a shame to see any decline, just needs a little spiffing up. This is simply constructive criticism of a place we love. I am sure other regulars feel the same.

Our three generations totally enjoyed our stay. The ten of us had plenty of room. The beach access was perfect and when it got crowded, we moved to the backyard pool. Great accommodations!

Lovely house, fantastic location
The property was clean and well kept. The pool was clean, loved the salt water. Right across the street from the beach, the location could not have been better. There was plenty of room for our extended family. It was a lovely stay.

The location of this vacation home is in a nice area and we could all easily access the beach across the street. The home was very spacious and the owner was quick to respond when needed during our stay. The pool was very refreshing but as a pool owner it could use some maintenance.

Windy Hill Vacation Rental
Very spacious and clean house. Loved that it had an upstairs and downstairs living room areas. The beach was right across the street and down a small path. Chet was very pleasant and answered my questions in a timely manner. Highly recommend this house.

Great Property
I did a girls getaway with my 3 sisters and niece and this property was perfect! We each had our own bedroom and we loved the fact that it had a living room upstairs - a perfect quiet place to do some reading or watch tv while everyone else was chatting and having a good time. We loved the fact that the beach was right across the street. I went for a run on the beach each morning and the others took strolls on the beach at different times to collect seashells.
The only issue we had was that the ceiling fan in one of the downstairs bedrooms did not work and property management could not get someone out to look at it before we left but it was cool enough in the evening that my sister-in-law was able to open the window and get a cool breeze in order for her to sleep.
I highly recommend this property!

Spacious home with easy access to the ocean
The home had plenty of space for everyone to spread out and even though it was a little chilly, my daughters really enjoyed the pool! The walk to the beach was a nice easy, short walk too!

We had 5 golfers. Location was great being golfed just north of the border in North Carolina. Close to Barefoot landing and many good restaurants.

Great Experience
The overall experience my group had while staying Nine Palms was excellent. The space of the house was more than enough for 10+ adults. The location was directly across from the beach and public beach access. My group was down there for a golf and the house was convenient to all the courses we played. The owners were quick to respond and address any minor issues my group came across. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a large space for multiple families or adults. Overall a great experience and will look to stay there in years to come.

Wedding weekend
This was a great place to stay the property was really roomy and clean but we paid too much money for half the tvs to work and the dish washer wasn’t working as well. When tried to contact the people they just told me to check the hookup and when I tiold them it still wasn’t working it was discarded like it was ok. Not even a partial refund or anything. We spent 4 days there and half of the rooms the tv didn’t work and can you imagine how rough that was with 4 kids and half the tvs not working
