About this house rental
Two bedroom (featuring queen sized beds), two bath home with great ocean views from the living room and 2nd floor master bedroom with private lanai. Public access to the beach right across the street. Wireless internet and cable included. Very quiet location. Spacious and comfortable. Just minutes to trails through the Redwoods. All linens, cooking appliances, pots, pans, etc supplied. Bring food, clothes and bathing shampoo and soaps.

This was such an awesome getaway. Nothing bad to say about the house on my end. Very spacious, accommodating and right across from the soothing sound of the ocean. However, I am mad at myself for not taking advantage of the balcony! I didn’t realize there was a balcony until the last night because we were so busy with lots of near by activities. Will definitely stay again! Didn’t read the “fine print” so when we arrived at midnight, couldn’t find the lock box… pays to read ☺️

My husband and I spent a wonderful week at this beautiful home. The home was spacious, clean, and exceeded our expectations. You could not ask for a better location to visit the Redwoods.
We mostly ate out, but if you wanted to cook, the kitchen was well equipment to do so.
The views are incredible!
If you are thinking about renting this lovely house, stop procrastinating and book it!! You will be glad you did.

This property was perfect for our stay! Very comfortable and conveniently located for all we wanted to do. The steps to the beach were just across the street. Itstormed and rained while we were there and the house was very snug. My husband loved the garage! Property is only about 10 minutes from a couple different Redwoods locations. Definitely would recommend this place!

We enjoyed the house and the area while we were there, however our trip was cut short due to the city-wide power outage caused by the fire north of Crescent City. We were sad to leave, but no hot water, or cooking for 1 day was enough, let alone 3 more days left of our stay.

Found home on line and was so excited as the view from the home was awesome. I wasn’t disappointed. Also great location for other things, restaurants, grocery store etc. I did contact Property Manager with a question and she was very prompt to respond. We loved our stay and if ever in the area again we would love to stay again. Thanks for sharing your lovely home.

This was the perfect house to stay in for our vacation to the Redwoods. The house had everything we needed and we loved the view of the beach and being able to walk across the street to it. It is the perfect house for a family and a great location to visit the Redwoods for a few days. We can’t wait to come back someday!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of space, comfy beds and good furnishings. The kitchen was stand-out in just how well stocked it was with tools for cooking.
I rated check-in at only 4 stars as the heater was off when we checked in and it took a while to figure out how to operate the remote - had to dig out a manual rather than there being an instructions note or card near or on the remote. Remote for the downstairs bedroom header had dead batteries so we cannibalized those out of an alarm clock and were fine. It's not clear from the listing that the heat comes from the in-wall units so it was a bit confusing as we saw air registers/vents along the floor in the various rooms so we spent time hunting for a central air controller to get he place warmed up. Clarifying all of this in the welcome instructions email or on in on a welcome sheet left inside would be helpful.
There is not a welcome guide upon check-in other than a card with wifi info and stack of maps and pamphlets outlining local attractions. There is a handy check-out guide.
The view of the ocean from across the street is nice but at night there is a very bright street lamp right across from the big view windows in the living room that is a bit aggressive. That said, the house is priced well compared to other houses with ocean front views. The steps down to the beach are right there and make it easy to get down to the water.

House was perfect for quick walk across street to public beach and close to amenities. Neighborhood clean. Fantastic beach views from both levels due to being on a corner lot. The doorknob to upstairs deck kept falling off and downstairs shower head broke off, probably normal wear and tear. The blinds are white cotton so if you enjoy early morning brught sunlight waking up (6a.m.), you will get it. We prefer to sleep in on vacation and this was the only drawback. I would rent again! Bright and cheerful place.

This was our second stay in this houuse and it really feels like home here. I just wished we could access the TV in the 2 bedrooms. We all had to stay in the livingroom to watch our fav shows. Other than that we will always come back and stay again in this homey vrbo.

This was our first VRBO rental and it couldn’t have been better. A clean and welcoming home in a fabulous location. Every amenity is there - laundry, kitchen, etc. There’s so much to see from the beautiful coast to the stunning redwoods and having a cozy place to come back to and unwind is just priceless. We hope to be back someday for more North Coast adventures.

We absolutely loved our stay. So close to many great state parks. Enjoyed exploring redwoods. We spent our mornings in the tide pools across the street. The house was very nice and spacious for our family. Would stay again for sure!
