Make yourself at home at The Haven at Chapel Ridge, a freshly remodeled, stylishly furnished 2 Br/2Ba home on quiet tree-lined street off Chapel Road in Waco, Texas. This charming cottage-style home has an open, airy feel. The home has a spacious primary suite (13'x17') with walk-in closet. The second bedroom has both full and twin beds. There's also a roll-away twin bed tucked away in a closet if needed. With 20 (yes, 20) pillows in the home, you’re sure to find one perfect for you!
Enjoy an extremely well-stocked kitchen with adjacent laundry. Feel free to make yourself comfortable with outdoor seating, gas BBQ grill, and fully fenced yard. The backyard also has two comfy seating areas, complete with café lights and a fire table.
This guest house is perfect for a quick getaway to enjoy a Baylor event, sightseeing Fixer Upper fans, and families wanting to relax.
When not out and about enjoying all Waco has to offer, relax in front of a 50-inch smart HDTV w/Roku for all your favorite streaming, play a board game, or have fun with the Wii gaming system. The kitchen is well-equipped, including a Wolfgang Puck indoor grill, crockpot, and even one of those hotel waffle makers! The Haven is stocked with waffle mix, butter, and syrup to start your day off right! You'll also be greeted with a variety of snacks upon arrival and a special surprise or two. This property was very clean, very well-stocked, and the A/C was ice cold. It is in a nice, quiet neighborhood near plenty of restaurants. The owner left us a peach cobbler (YUM). We loved it!

Wow! I read the reviews and decided to book this home for our 2 night stay in Waco and am I glad I did. First I had to ask Lori to change my arrival date because I was over zealous in how quickly we would arrive from New Mexico and she was able to do that. Then we arrived and could not open the key lock box so she immediately showed up to help- only to find we were at the wrong house (thankfully it was also one of her homes next door). She was so sweet and I felt like we could become instant friends. Entered the home to a homemade peach cobbler and ice cream. I have stayed at many vacation rentals and never have I been welcomed like that. (We took the remainder of the cobbler and ice cream on our travels and my husband could not stop raving about it). Now about the home.., sooooo cute. Well decorated. And very comfortable. All the amenities of home. Sometimes vacation homes barely have enough paper goods to get you through your visit- this isn’t one of those homes. She provided laundry soap and shampoo/conditioner, hand soap.. all of the things you might need. When we return to Waco, we will most definitely try to book one of her homes. Oh yeah- the neighborhood was so clean and peaceful. There are no sidewalks but the streets were quiet so we were able to walk with our little dog every day. 5 star stay!!!

We were so fortunate to happen upon this listing when our daughter was a freshman and it has been our number 1 choice ever since. Lori is such a gracious host. She makes sure that every thing is perfect down to the last detail. There was no question as to where we wanted to spend our daughter’s gradation weekend. We had family fly in from out of state and I kept hearing over and over what an amazing home it was. Lori truly thinks of everything needed to make your stay the absolute best. I can’t recommend this host and home enough. It is the perfect retreat to relax and catch up with family and friends.

My 3 former college roommates and I converged on Waco for a mini-reunion last weekend. The Haven@Chapel RIdge was the perfect location for us to catch up. We found everything we needed in this charming cottage and had plenty of space for the 4 of us. The owner was attentive to questions we had and we appreciated all the little details she took care of to make sure we were comfortable, including snacks! I would highly recommend The Haven for a small group of friends or a small family. We just might have to meet again at The Haven next year!

This was our second stay. It is a fabulous, clean, nicely decorated home. I've stayed at many VRBO s and this is on my top list. Host left us brownies, ice cream and a basket of snacks! Location is perfect. The gazebo area in back was so cool to relax in. I highly recommend this property you won't be disappointed

The house was warm, inviting, and spacious. The host was gracious and kind by leaving us thoughtful notes and a homemade dessert!! Additionally, the host left a neat “take one” bookshelf in the master bedroom closet, it was a pleasant surprise! Overall a great experience, will book again the next time we’re in Waco.

There are not enough adjectives to adequately describe the hostess or the property. This experience far exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was stocked with extra foods to enjoy, a fresh platter of brownies upon our arrival, and ice cream in the freezer. We felt welcomed and safe our entire stay.

The Haven is a nice place to get away and relax and works out great as a place to stay in Waco. Lori thinks of every detail. The outside side yard is lovely. The bed we slept in - the queen - was so comfortable. You can get to Waco attractions in 15-20 minutes and come home to the Haven.

Lori’s lovely home is in a peaceful neighborhood, very close to grocery stores and only a short drive from downtown Waco. Our family of 4 had a very comfortable stay, and our 2 dogs loved the secure backyard. All beds were comfortable! We enjoyed relaxing in the backyard in the evenings and used the propane grill for making dinner. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for preparing meals. Lori left us a delicious lemon pound cake and pancake fixings, and ice cream! We also enjoyed the board games, and all the visitor guides and info about local attractions that Lori has ready for guests to use. We highly recommend this VRBO.

Location was perfect for our stay. Lori provided brochures for daily activities suggestions. Several of which we enjoyed doing. The dessert and ice cream provided was perfect touch after our arrival during the ice storm. Home was great for visits with our 96 year "young" family friend. She enjoyed beating everyone playing cards again and again. This is the second time we have stayed here and highly recommend.
