The sound of wind rustling through the trees and the sound of water flowing by is constant and one of reasons White River Retreat is special. The main body of the log cabin was built in the 1930s by craftsmen who understood the beauty as well as the functionality of log cabins. A large porch (20x30) and a second story was added to the cabin in 2010. Floor 1: 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen, living room with a fieldstone fireplace and 3-season porch. Woodstove on porch and working fireplace in the living room. I provide the firewood. Floor 2: 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths - well appointed with travertine tile, clawfoot tub, tile shower, reclaimed wood vanities, large bedrooms with views. Bed configuration: 2 queen, 1 full, 2 twin. I provide the bed linens. Kitchen: stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots/pans/dishes.
