About this house rental
Picture yourself in this beautiful, new for 2014 ocean view beach home. Forever Summer is a custom built 5 bedroom, 6.5 bath gem that is professionally decorated and furnished for your maximum enjoyment. We've tried hard to think of everything you will need to make your next vacation your best. This home features handicap accessibility throughout including an ADA approved shower in one of the bedrooms. Forever Summer also has an extra-large pool with bathroom nearby. Pool can be heated at an extra charge of $100 per day. the home also offers a wood-paneled elevator, very large kitchen, extra large front deck, state of the art electronics, and best of all...easy access to the beach. Forever Summer features hickory flooring on the third floor of this reverse floor plan with beautiful tile on the second floor family room and plush carpet in each of the bedrooms. Enjoy fantastic ocean views from the front deck and peaceful wood preserve and inter-coastal views and sunsets from the back. The beautiful kitchen was designed with large gatherings in mind with custom cabinetry, granite counter tops, stainless appliances, and all new cookware and equipment. Two dishwashers keep all the dishes clean and a beverage refrigerator and a separate ice machine helps keep all your drinks cool on hot summer days. Unlimited hot water is always available simultaneously for all six showers (5 inside, 1 outside) from two Rinnai tank less, on demand gas hot water heaters. And, there are no keys to share as there is a key less entry that will be changed to accommodate each new guest.

What a wonderful place to spend a week with the family! The beach was so close, so beautiful and the turtle nests were magnets for the family. Wonderful tide pools for the little ones. If you have children, there is a wonderful park and museum on the island for off-beach moments.
The house was comfortable and well appointed - neither too fancy nor vacation shabby. The kitchen was so well equipped our food focused family was delighted.
Plenty of covered porches for moments of quiet and/or family fun. The pool simply added to our choices for fun and relaxation. Thank you!
As the family ages the 4-to-a-room bedroom spaces are more challenging. But that's for us to manage and not a slight on this comfortable and welcoming house.

The house was well appointed and served our family's needs. We spent a lot of time in the house during our stay because the beach was inaccessible and a lot of the island was shut down. The size and layout of the house provided plenty of room. The swimming pool was a life saver for the kids because we had several days of rainy weather due to hurricane Debby. The owner was helpful in advising on the storm and checked in on us to make sure we were OK. We area looking forward to a return with more typical beach weather.

We left with great memories having spent our first fam vacation at OIB. The home was well appointed and comfortable in every way. The location is terrific and any issues were quickly attended to. We would definitely return for stay at Forever Summer!

We absolutely loved this vacation. The house was amazing, great open space for gathering as a family, the elevator worked great and the space accomodated our family member in a wheelchair, quick walk to the beach, easy communication with Dave. I hope we can come back here again!

This was a perfect spot for a business retreat!! We enjoyed the large porches and the other accommodations. We had plenty of room to spread out. The handy man, Russ was great when we needed to set up the tv for streaming.

This home is perfect. Love the layout. Top floor has open floor plan kitchen, dining and den area. Furniture in den is super comfy. Kitchen is well stocked with small appliances, even an air fryer. The ice machine was pure luxury and a game changer for sure. The bedrooms all have a private bath. They thought of everything. The outdoor shower by the pool is a great idea and so nice to have. The pool is amazing. Clean and we spent a LOT of time here. The walk to beach access is mere steps away and so convenient. Love this home, we will be back!

This was our first stay on the east side of the island. Loved the house. It was beautifully furnished with plenty of room for our family of 14. The grandkids especially enjoyed the larger pool. Thanks for another memorable vacation!

This beautiful house checked all the boxes for us. Clean and laid out really well. I'm handicapped and use a rollator. All level except one small step up to enter at elevator street entrance. Pool was larger than most and neatly laid out. All 6 of my grandchildren loved everything about this house!! Best house we have rented so far!! David was so good at answering any questions. We have booked it again for next year!!!

We loved our stay at this beautiful house! This was the first time we rented a home with a pool and we will never go without one again! :) The living room/kitchen area is especially spacious! The location is perfect with easy beach access and there is a partial ocean view from the huge front deck. There were a few cleanliness issues and one of the televisions was malfunctioning. I contacted the owner and the issues were addressed immediately. Great owner and great house! Highly recommend!

Our family of 10 spent last week at this beautiful home. The owner called shortly after arrival to inquire if we were doing well in the home. It actually exceeded our expectations. Our grandchildren ages 6-14 were very excited about the pool being larger than it appeared in the photo. Having a restroom outdoors and the pool toys was an extra that was very appreciated. We actually cooked the majority of our meals and there was plenty of room for the adults to cook, clean and navigate in the spacious kitchen area. The beverage refrigerator and 2 dishwashers were especially nice considering our crowd. A member of our family requires an elevator but it was also a Godsend for myself and husband since we are not as young and spry as many years ago! It is also so nice not to have to carry groceries and luggage up the stairs. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the street is at bedtime unlike the noisy beach towns. Ocean Isle is ideal for families like ours. Another unexpected and very beautiful advantage for this home is unlike the neighbors there are no homes backed up to this one giving so much privacy and a clear view of the inlet behind. The only disappointment was discovering the previous Public Access as shown in the photo has since been replaced with a home so we had to walk a very short distance to the existing access. This was a little bit of a problem for a family member who has a muscular disease but she was happy reading by the pool. Highly recommend this home!!! 🤗

Nice house. Great location. Easy access to beach. Sometimes it is the little add-ons that make the difference. The ice-maker and the second dishwasher really added the icing on the cake.

My family has stayed in several VRBO homes over the years and we all agreed this one was the best! It had a huge kitchen with all the necessities for a large group, plenty of bedrooms with comfortable beds, and bathrooms in each, great ocean view, short walk to the beach, and great pool. Couldn't ask for more! But so glad there's an elevator because there are a lot of steps! I highly recommend it.

Beautiful house and view!
I was there with my 3 adult children and their spouses! Also 5 grandchildren ages 20 down to 1. They all had a wonderful time with beach, pool and beautiful house!! We rented a golf cart and had fun with that! Unfortunately I became I’ll and was taken to the hospital and never did get back to the house. It was still a great trip for my family and you were very easy to communicate with!

Perfect vacation home rental
We were very pleased with "Forever Summer" for our family vacation. We opted for 2nd row this time and were very happy to see that the house in front of us was lower so we could see the ocean. The home was even nicer than expected...we loved the pool with outside restroom and there were so many toys, floats, chairs, and even carts for the beach available for us to use. The kitchen was wonderful - loved the ice machine and beverage fridge, as a result there was plenty of room in the big refrigerator. We also loved having two dishwashers. Everything needed was there, even a Keurig and regular coffee maker. The owners were awesome, Dave was staying up the street with his family and was so nice. We arrived early and he let us use the pool and outside restroom. The cleaning people ran late at check-in, so he gave us a gift card to a local restaurant. Not necessary but much appreciated. Everything made for a wonderful and memorable family vacation.

Great house with close proximity to access
Great set up for our extended family. Room for everyone and a great flow to the layout. Super close to the public access, so just a short walk to the beach. We had the perfect view of the fireworks on the 4th too!

Perfect Family Trip
We loved this property! I was the perfect set up for our family. The elevator was a huge help for my parents! They loved it. The view from the porch was great, you could see the ocean and feel the breeze! We have been coming to ocean isle for many years, and this was by far our favorite spot!!

What a joy!
Forever Summer is more than we could have imagined. The view is wonderful, the house is huge with a fantastic layout. The pool is amazing with a great area for relaxing! If you are lucky enough to meet the owners your will know how loved the home is. We got to meet Dave and were blown away but his generosity and care for his renters. Thank you to Dave and Amy for sharing your home we us! We loved being there and hope we get to go back soon!

Greatest stay ever
Thank you Dave and Amy for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful beach home. It was clean, spacious, and only a 90 second walk to the beach. The pool was a very welcome respite after coming off the beach all day. And what a bonus to have an outside bathroom and shower right off the pool. Our favorite part was having the main living area on the top (third) floor because it provided an awesome view of the ocean. The elevator allowed us to have to only make one trip up to, and down from, the higher floors with our luggage- an added bonus. If I had some constructive criticism, it would be that the description doesn’t list all of the amenities (Keurig, regular coffee make, crock pot, pack-n-play, high chair, etc) that are present at this property. It is amazing. Ocean Isle Beach is clean, quiet, family-friendly, and full of great restaurant options. We will come back, and when we do, we will stay in this beautiful beach home.

Relaxing Week
The property was perfect for our family, spacious and spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed including an ice maker to provide enough ice everyday to pack up the coolers. The top floor was great, especially having the accessibility to the top deck with ocean views. We all enjoyed days at the beach, and the kids loved coming back to the house in the afternoon to swim in the pool. We definitely would come back for another stay in the future!

Family Week
The house is beautiful and was very comfortable. Kitchen necessities were plentiful. The coffee/alcohol bar is great with a separate ice maker and mini fridge! Large refrigerator and the 2 dishwashers were amazing. The kitchen is large and never felt crowded. The upper floor balcony let's you enjoy the ocean without being directly on the beach. You are just across the street and the house across is a one level home. We watched the sunrise and sunset too. The elevator was a plus with 3 levels of steps especially upon arrival and departure with all the luggage. Pool was nice and great to have a half bath there. Also the outdoor shower was helpful coming off the short walk to the beach. We would definitely rent again!

Another great week at Forever Summer
This was our second time staying at Forever Summer and our large group, ranging from 70+ - 2 years old, had a great time. The house has a beautiful view from the massive front porches, is four houses from the beach access and spacious enough for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. My MIL said, “this place just feels like home.” Thanks for a great week of family memories!

Great family vacation
Forever Summer met all our vacation needs. The kitchen had everything one might need to cook, two dishwashers, a drink refrigerator, and a great ice maker. The ocean view from the upper deck was fantastic, and there were enough rocking chairs / chairs out there for everyone in our family plus a table. We had great early morning chats on the upper deck drinking coffee and enjoying the view.
We loved the pool. The pool deck had six lounge chairs, a table with four chairs, and, I think, six other chairs, which was fantastic. No other surrounding properties that I could see had that many pool chairs. There was a convenient outdoor shower and bathroom as well. The elevator was a blessing for my husband and I. The large dining room table was wonderful. We have stayed at condos that slept 10-12 people, but the dining room table only accommodated 6.
Overall, our stay at Forever Summer was perfect, and many memories were made. We didn't want to leave.
Our only disappointment was not with the beach house. We were not ever able to eat at Sharkey's or Ocean Isle Fish Company because of two hour waits. They do not take reservations. We had never been to OIB, so not being able to eat at these local restaurants was, as stated, disappointing.

Delightful Vacation
Dave and Amy are excellent hosts. Everything was as described. The living room has comfortable furniture w/ lovely views and the kitchen has extra touches(2 dishwashers, separate ice maker, wine fridge) that were great. Our children loved the disco light feature in the large pool! The porches were a big plus. We also enjoyed having a living space on both levels. Dave responded quickly to all of our questions.

Great stay
We really enjoyed Forever Summer over spring break 2021! The house was beautiful, clean, and well kept. We had a few minor things occur during the vacation but Dave was super quick to respond and the nature of them were insignificant. Would not hestitate to book this or their other home.
