This was the most amazing location and experience! Susan, the host was so responsive in timeliness of replies for booking, stay instructions and any questions I sent her about the stay.
The house is perfect - Susan has thought of everything!!! The kitchen has everything you need, the decor is SO awesome, beds were comfortable, etc. As a group of women, she even has black wash clothes for removing makeup!! I’m telling you, she provides it all!!
The location is wonderful - a couple blocks off main street so we walked several times to shop and eat.
This is THE location for your group to stay in Fredericksburg!! We WILL stay here again!!!

This a lovely property both comfortable and well maintained! Because I feel the owners are interested in the upkeep I would suggest a little bright tape making the step down to the primary bathroom from the primary bedroom.

Very comfortable for our group of four. The whole house and backyard decorated for Christmas when we arrived really set the mood. Enjoyed being able to walk to the downtown shops, restaurants, the Christmas market, the history museum, etc. Had coffee on the front patio and watched the sun rise. Hot tub and back patio nice for relaxing in the evening.

We wanted to have a nice getaway for a friend’s 50th birthday and the house exceeded our expectations! We had an amazing weekend with lots of fun and relaxation and we loved the convenience of the location being so close to Main Street. The host was quick to respond and the house was cozy and comfy.

Would stay here again! Updated and clean house was great. Literally two blocks from the park and Main Street. We left the car parked at the house and walked to Main Street several times a day. Awesome property!

The home was very clean and beautifully decorated for the fall season. It was only a couple of blocks from the heart of Main Street which made downtown shopping extremely convenient. The weather wasn't cooperative so we couldn't take advantage of the hot tub or the outside sitting area. We hope to visit again!

Five besties since high school get together annually and this location was perfect for us. We walked into town for dinner and it’s only two blocks. And then we did a Sunday of driving to wineries and then back into town for dinner that evening. The large hot tub was a great addition for our first night, and then the fire pit was a central spot for us to “wine” down on our second night! The mini market two blacks away was also a plus (nice selection of wine too!) Breakfast and coffee ( full coffe pot and a keurig) at the kitchen bar each morning. And the sofa! So cozy and comfy for all five of us for a late nite movie. I highly recommend this property❤️

The house was fabulous, comfortable beds, super clean. Best part is it was so convenient to walk to town! We didn’t use our car at all we were able to get to restaurants and shops with no issue. Will definitely stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this darling little house. It was a perfect retreat for a mother, daughter weekend! The home is located in a great location. You can walk to town, if you choose. And, It is also easy to get to the wineries., stores and restaurants. The property manager was so easy to work with. She always responded quickly to any questions that I had. We thought we had left something there and she went over and checked for us. I was very impressed. I would highly recommend this home. We would definitely stay there again.

Please was great again! Comfortable and relaxing! Only complaint is we weren't provided any trash bags, but luckily we had done some shopping and just used our shopping bags for trash.

We had a great stay in Fredericksburg at the Prost House! We were able to walk to town so we did not have to worry about parking. The home was perfect for our group and a great place to relax at the end of the day. The patio and hot tub were wonderful. We hope to return!

This place was so cute. Decorated well, very clean, comfy living room, great location! Only 4 stars because the king size master bed is in need of replacement. It has sagging body spots visible through the comforter. It was not comfortable at all.

This location is perfect for being close to all the shops and restaurants! The house was nice and clean. The hot tub was a luxury after walking all day. I would definitely stay here again!

Love this house! Perfect location! It is very clean and well equipped with everything you need.
We stayed there several years and when we decided to go back to Fredericksburg, we knew we wanted to go back to this house. We love to spend the first night of weekend drinking wine and catching up- the living room is cozy and perfect. Saturday is spent exploring and eating out and this house is convenient to everything you want to do.

Overall our experience with the property was excellent. The house was beautiful and perfect for entertaining family during our Christmas stay. Loved the added Christmas decorations and perfect for our Christmas day dinner! The location to main street was close and walking distance. We enjoyed doing this many times throughout our stay. Notes to improve: the master bedroom door did not latch properly. Could not get the firepit to turn on after following directions. The sliding door in the master bedroom to the bathroom does not stay shut. Needs a magnet to keep it closed. Small things - Big win we will be back on our next visit!

Beautifully updated, centrally located home in Fredericksburg was perfect for celebrating life with friends of 20+ years! Spacious and comfortable inside and out. We really enjoyed relaxing outside before a full day of shopping, wine tasting and a great dinner. Very responsive hosts, thanks Susan and Brady! Looking forward to future visits.

Hands down, one of our very favorite properties to visit. Two blocks off Main Street and walking distance to Marketplatz. I can't think of an easier getaway close to Christmas time; just an hour and a half from Austin. And did I mention that the interior and exterior are decked out for the holidays? So cute! And we love having access to the hot tub on a chilly night. Susan is friendly, responsive and so easy to deal with.

Loved staying at this very welcoming and great location home! Was perfect for our girls trip and we enjoyed how spacious it was and the perk of having the hot tub was 10/10. They helped us out and we’re quick to respond the whole weekend! Will definitely recommend and have to be back to visit!
