About this house rental
Enjoy 180 degrees of lake views from this year-round Lake Geneva home located on the shores of Lake Como. Lake Como is a quiet, non-crowded lake with a shallow bottom. The lake is approximately 9 feet at it's deepest, so it's a perfect lake for boating, tubing, waterskiing, swimming, fishing and more! Centrally located just 3 miles west of downtown Lake Geneva and also steps away from the famous Mars Resort Bar & Restaurant with a piano bar and outdoor seating on the lake.
The backyard is large with a fence separating the house from the famous Mars Resort supper club next door. There's a small private beach and pier with a boat slip to accommodate your own boat or one that you rent during your stay. We provide two kayaks, rafts, yard games and beach toys! The pier is typically in the water from April-October, depending on the weather. Ask us about boat rental recommendations.
The home has a wrap around deck with a seating area, outdoor fireplace and a BBQ grill on the first floor and a 2nd floor balcony, all overlooking Geneva National Golf Club, with its three 18 hole championship golf courses. Several more courses are just a short drive away, making the house perfect for golfers. The house is also an ideal destination for team building, couples, girls weekends, families, and adult groups of friends.
The house has an open floor plan with a kitchen that seats 8, opening to the living room with an additional dining table for 4 and couches, all overlooking the lake. There's a two-sided fireplace, and smart tv with cable provided. Please bring your favorite streaming platform logins!
There are two first floor bedrooms with queen beds in each, both have wall mounted smart TVs. There are three second floor bedrooms with closets with two twin beds in each, for a total of 6 twin beds. There is also a 2nd floor living room with a wall mounted smart TV and a queen-sized sofa sleeper with a memory foam mattress, giving the house a total occupancy of 12. We also have a pack'n'play and a high chair for those traveling with babies. There are two full bathrooms, one on each level.
This is an amazing home with a great location. Not only will you be in the center of all the fun, but you'll be able to enjoy the most magnificent sunsets in all of Lake Geneva from the house, yard, pier and deck. For the lucky ones staying for the 4th of July, you'll have an unobstructed view of the spectacular Geneva National fireworks display that will take place directly across the lake. You won't have to fight crowds and find parking, but instead will be able to enjoy them from the comfort of this home.
The local resorts have year round activities to keep our visitors busy all year. Winter is a great time to visit, as we are located near two ski hills, with ice fishing on the lake, great cross country skiing, ice skating and sledding nearby.
Autumn is a beautiful time, as well, with gorgeous foliage throughout the area including breathtaking views across the lake. There are also orchards for apple picking and many fall and Halloween events to enjoy. Spring, too, is a great time. With the ice gone, Lake Como and Geneva come back to life! There is a strawberry and blueberry farm for picking up the street and plenty of other fun seasonal things to do and see.

This was our third consecutive year renting this place and we have already reserved it for next summer. It sets up very well for our family and my grandkids catch a lot of fish off the dock! We created some great memories here.

Great sized house for family vacation, pictures don’t do it justice. Had everything we needed and our grandson had plenty of toys to choose from. Only drawback was that it’s directly next to the Mats Resort. That wasn’t an issue until the last night when there was live entertainment outside (which we enjoyed) and patrons were going through the backyard. This was minor and we’d definitely go back.

5 bedrooms is a huge plus. Clean, modern, 3 bedrooms upstairs with 2 beds in each and a TV sitting area and balcony were amazing. Big bathroom with washer and dryer. Big washer - can do a lot of towels or clothes.
2 bedrooms down are great - 1 queen and 1 king.
Bathroom downstairs big. Toilet works Great. No musty lake house smell. Hot water heater - plenty of hot water. Air conditioner works awesome.
Having Mars resort next door was fun and Nice to have next door - music on WE not loud, great food and really reasonable pricing. A little further down , walkable, Getaway Inn great bar and amazing Prime Rib.. 2 kayaks were a lot of fun, plenty of floats and life jackets in under enclosed house away. Lake has some seaweed in areas but shore was great and we were able to waterski. Kitchen very well stocked with dishes, utensil , pots, pans etc. very nice refrigerator.

This is the second year that we stayed in the exact same home for our family reunion and it was just as wonderful as the first time. You really never need to leave the property. They have everything that you’ll ever hope for.

This is a beautiful lake front property which accommodated our extended family gathering. The home was clean and very well kept. Right on the lake for easy boat docking and water sports such as kayaking, swimming, boating, etc. Very relaxing stay and at times it felt like we had the lake to ourselves (only light traffic on the lake). Will definitely consider this location again in the future.

This was our 4th year renting the property and there were some great upgrades this year. This rental has everything you need for an excellent beach vacation, no need to ever leave the property. Our kids love fishing and playing on the beach. Kayaks and lots of floats keep everyone busy. Highly recommend!

This was our second stay at this house and it was fantastic! The location on the lake and sandy beach were perfect for the kids. The house has everything you need (toilet paper, dish soap, etc) making for an easy transition into vacation. Plus, we had great views of the Geneva National fireworks which was an unexpected bonus for us. We love this house and hope to come again!

Went here with some work colleagues for a few days of team work. The upstairs loft was the perfect place to screen cast as a whole group and there were lots of smaller spaces to work in smaller groups. Plenty of parking…a 2 minute walk to a super fun supper club next door, your own beach…what more could you want? ;)

We very much enjoyed our stay! The house was spacious and clean, with plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. We loved having Lake Como in the backyard and waking up to the sounds of waves and birds. The kitchen had ample counter space for cooking and we enjoyed sitting in the kitchen for our meals. The TV in the living room had most major streaming services, which was perfect for movies in the evening. We walked to Mars Resort next door for a great lunch with a lake view. Our host Ali was incredibly responsive to questions, for which we’re grateful. Most areas of interest, including Geneva Lake/Lake Geneva were within a 7-10 minute drive. Two minor drawbacks: (1) The shower upstairs and the bathtub downstairs could be bigger relative to the bathroom sizes, and (2) The house’s proximity to Mars Resort was a little noisy, even in the off-season, with the usual sounds of restaurant operations –trucks idling, doors opening/closing, etc. White noise machines were provided in all bedrooms to help remedy this though. Overall, we would recommend!

Our stay at this property to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday was amazing!!! Definitely perfect for a gals getaway weekend. The rental was beautiful, spacious, and was fully stocked with everything we could need! The kitchen is also fully stocked with anything you would need to make all of your meals. The whole space was even better than the pictures!
Having the Mars Restaurant next door was an added bonus. It was nice to just walk over for a great supperclub dinner. It's only minutes from downtown lake geneva and we were able to go shopping and stopped at some of our favorite spots.
The rental owners were some of the most kind people weve ever rented from. They made sure we had everything we needed and helped us out during the snow storm weekend. We will definitely be back!

This was a winter getaway that we will remember. The host left a great binder that covered everything you could ever want to know about the area. We enjoyed taking in the Lake Geneva downtown and found great restaurants. The lake was frozen with snow and there were people ice fishing, snow kiting, and children sledding with the help of an ATV. Great house!

A wonderful, spacious home on beautiful Lake Como with all the comforts of your own home. Spectacular views and quiet setting makes this the perfect place to relax. If you enjoy shopping, Lake Geneva is a few miles away. The owner made communicating a breeze and was very friendly!

The property was special, and spacious! We would definitely come back, because the home exuded warmth.
The outside lighting was rather dim, and might deserve brighter fixtures.
Please, please suggest an international controller for the TV, DVD, etc. Very frustrating with 'FOUR' different controllers. No explicit instructions were provided.
The bathrooms could use a bit of updating, because they both seem a bit worn-out and tired.
Ali was extremely responsive and Informative! We were all impressed with her followup.

We were in town for a wedding at Geneva National and the location couldn’t have been better! We were close to all we needed and more. Upon arrival the house was very clean and had all we needed. The Mars Resort is literally steps away and is full of fun & great food!

We, a group of 10, enjoyed our stay and appreciated all the amenities this property offers. Loved the view, the large deck and outdoor space. We had great weather while we were there in late September and spent a lot of time together on the deck and around the fire pit in the evenings. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. There was great communication throughout our stay from our host. We would definitely stay again at this lovely home.

The property on Lake Como was exactly as described in the listing. Great location with all of the amenities as described. Our 8 adults and 3 children under 3, used them all from the kayaks to the fire pit to sunsets on the deck over looking the lake.

This house was so much fun! We stayed for a family vacation and both my children loved the beachfront access and all the toys and boats the house had in stock. Ali and Steve were quick to come to the property when we had a minor question and were otherwise very receptive and communicative! The ambiance of the house itself is very inviting, I felt inspired by the color pallette everyday! While it was convenient to be next to a restaurant, we did experience two nights where the restaurant didn't turn off the outside music. However, the owner himself responded to an inquiry at the house and apologized so that was very helpful. No other issues after that. Would highly recommend staying here if you don't mind the little noise next door. Thanks to Ali and Steve for providing us with a lovely vacation.

This was one of two houses that we rented. It was everything that it said it was going to be and so much more. They had every amenity that you needed, they even had dishes, silverware, and toys for the children. We enjoyed our stay so much and thank you for your hospitality. We would recommend this house to anyone!

We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen had all the necessary items for cooking, so that was great. The resort next door was loud only on Saturday (and maybe Friday night but it was raining so I don't know) but they have sound machines in all the bedrooms which help. Nice little sand area for little ones to play in. Rafts and kayaks are provided. Large assortment of board games. Easy trip to Lake Geneva or Fontana.
