About this cottage rental
Relaxing beach retreat, 200 feet from the beach. Painstakingly restored beach cottage with all the modern amenities. Front porch to people watch, and private covered rear porch with exposed beams, wicker fan, bistro lights, and a large hardwood table. Fun loft for kids to hang out and even hook up a game system. Wonderful cedar outdoor shower to wash away the sand, and get ready for a night out to dinner at one of dozens of great restaurants. Spend your days on the beach, walking the boardwalk, fishing, or kayaking. Mansquan is the consumate family beach town, with its cute downtown shopping area, family beaches and abundant dining & nightlife.
This is the best family beach north of LBI, and the best, most comfortable house you will rent.

Had a lovely time at this Manasquan beach home. Super close to the beach, 2 playgrounds within a 2 min walk. They did. Spectacular remodel on the home and the upstairs is a cool loft play area that my kids couldn’t get over. Will def book again!

The house is in a great location and has everything you could want for a beach house and the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful with the check in process.

During our stay hurricane Ophelia hit New Jersey. Otherwise we would have had a very nice time in Manasquan.Our host was very kind and helped us in every way under this wet and stormy conditions, so after all we still had a good time.

Our gift to our mom for her 75th birthday was to stay in a beach house in Manasquan. Our family had houses there for four generations, and it’s Mom’s happy place. Everything was perfect. The house, the hosts, the beach, the neighborhood, were all excellent. We had so much fun, we rebooked for next summer before our trip was even over. Thank you for an amazing vacation.

We came during the winter and really enjoyed the property and location. The house fit our small family very well (our kid loved the loft), the home was warm and very easy to access. I'm sure it's busier in the summer months, but definitely recommend in the off season as well!

This was our second time staying at this home, and it has become a favorite. The location can’t be beat, just around the corner from the beach. The loft area is a unique feature and the kids love going there to play. The home is thoughtfully decorated and appointed, and has all we need to be extremely comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This place was perfect and as advertised. Wasn’t in the house only to sleep but it was clean and enough room to fit our needs. 1 block walk to the ocean. Will definitely come back here and hope to do so in warmer weather.

Truly great spot within walking distance from the water. We lucked out with a spring-like November weekend and enjoyed the outdoor shower, back deck and proximity to the beach (with playground!). The house was perfect for our small kids, was organized very well for being a beach bungalow and had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend. Great communication with Mike too. Highly recommend!

The house was nicely decorated and very clean. The short walk to the beach was ideal for us. We especially enjoyed the screened in front porch. The neighborhood was very quiet and the people friendly.

Location is nice close to beach, however noise from neighbors can be an issue (it was past midnight on the Saturday of Labor Day, and the party in the back was still going strong making it hard to sleep). House is a great set-up for such a small cottage. Overall, very clean, but having to bring our own linens for 2 nights was frustrating and made for a very full car. Other than that, we loved our stay. Would highly recommend.

The house was private yet super close to the beach. Easy to get around the neighborhood via foot or car. The weather was amazing and the house was everything we needed. Great amenities, outdoor entertaining; an ideal small family rental.

Fantastic beach house
Loved this house. It is in an amazing location just a 1/2 block to the beach. The home is well appointed and great use of space. It is small but so comfy. We loved the front and back porches. You’ll love it!

Excellent Beach Getaway
The proximity to the beach is perfect; close enough to hear the ocean! The home is clean, well lit (nightlights too!), everything was fully functional, our hosts responded quickly to any questions we had. We hadn't stayed in a rental that didn't include linens and forgot that includes hand towels/kitchen towels (there were two we found in the dryer but that was it) so be sure to bring a few of those if you want more than 2.

First time in manasquan - couldn’t have picked a better VRBO rental
Overall great stay at this property. Beautifully kept indoors and out, loved both the front and back porch to soak up the sounds of waves crashing, great location only a block from the beach with on-site parking. It rained one day and I had no problem staying in soaking up the beachy and serene vibes indoors. Very clean, has all of the amenities ever need and felt safe. Would recommend to family and friends. Super easy check in and out process. Would def return - Manasquan is on my map now for beaches to visit again. Great downtown and so many food choices and shops close by. Enjoy!

Mike and Tracy we're fantastic in checking in to ensure all our needs were met. The house itself has been thoughtfully renovated and is as charmng and comfortable as can be. The back porch is especially fantastic!

A cozy cottage near the beach
The cottage was clean, cute, nicely decorated with all the appliances you could need and it was only a short walk to the beach. If asked we could have used a Pyrex class baking dish but we made due!!

Cute beach cottage
We had a fun week at the shore! Mike was super helpful with a mishap with the rented linens and after a long day traveling from California the last thing we needed were no bed sheets! Thankfully he came to the rescue. Rooms are tight, but that’s was family bonding is all about! Location was awesome, A/C was a huge plus and other neighbors renting were super polite. It was a week full of awesome memories!!

Perfect getaway cottage
This house was the perfect size and location for our family of 4 (including two girls ages 3 and 5). We loved the location, outdoor deck and shower, and the ice machine came in handy a number of times as well! The weather was almost perfect all week so we didn’t even get to take advantage of the upstairs kids loft, but the very short walk to the beach and The Breeze cafe around the corner made everything extremely easy for us. The owner was also easily accessible and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect beach getaway!
Mike and Tracy’s place is beautiful and super clean! The location is perfect with just a short walk to get to the beach. We were able to quickly go back to the house if we forgot anything. We were able to fit two pack in plays for our kids, in two of the bedrooms but it was very tight! We loved the outdoor shower and ate almost every meal on the back porch! Mike was easily reachable and In communication the whole time. The only negatives was that there is not much inside seating for eating and the mattresses were not the most comfortable (still not bad though). Overall we’d love to stay here again!
