About this cottage rental

This two bedroom one bath unit sits on a small fishing pond with its own private deck. Convenient to shopping and restaurants is the ideal location for a relaxing getaway. Called the Cozy cottage for a reason. Even though it is attached to the office, this unit has many repeat guests who like the view from the porch with a large 6 person hot tub, overlooking the private deck and pond. This is a pet friendly home but does limit the pets to a max of two, or one large dog. The charge is per pet per night.

All our units come completely furnished with all the modern appliances and cooking utensils. If this unit is to small for your needs or is booked please feel free to call anyway, we may have something else for you.

recreation: Our recreation areas offer swimming, tennis, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, covered picnic shelter with grills and play area for the little ones.

For a fishing trip you won't forget, try striper fishing. The Fall creek public access area provides boat launch and picnic facilities 2 minutes from the resort. Conely Bottom Marina is only 3 miles away for a full boat launch, boat rentals, fuel and supplies.

Lake Cumberland may be the big draw, but for those into hiking, Cumberland falls is about 45 minutes away with organized trails as well as the famous moon bow.
The scenery alone is worth the drive.

Mill Spring grist-mill-Historic Civil War park & gift shop 6 minutes away.
Monticello groceries and shopping and flea market-10 minutes. Many other attractions and activities within an hours drive, to many to mention. White water rafting, train rides through an old coal mine, Cumberland falls to mention a few.

The house was very clean and the neighborhood is extremely quiet and peaceful. Fishing in the pond was outstanding, each of my sons caught a humongous catfish, biggest they have ever caught! The hot tub is very clean and big, the screened in porch was so nice to have coffee on every morning and play cards together in the evenings. This is our second time staying here, the only negatives were that the air cannot be set below 70 and the bedrooms would get very hot at night and the beds are very hard, we actually went to Walmart and bought a 3 inch memory foam topper to be able to sleep in the beds at night, also there was no broom to sweep with but there was a vacuum we made do with. Overall it was a good stay and we would stay again, the proper manager was very kind and although this is attached to the office we were never bothered.

This cozy cottage was just what we wanted! It was so clean, close to Lake Cumberland for water activities and to town! The cottage was so comfortable and had all the dishes and utensils needed! Working with the host, Steve, was super! He answered our questions and concerns promptly! The screened-in porch was where we spent most of our time! The hot tub was delightful , but a challenge for us older folks to enjoy! Russel, the maintenance man, was very cordial, helpful and came every day to empty trash! We hope to return again soon!

We stayed for three nights with our family. The cottage was very clean and spacious. We had plenty of room for all six of us. The hot tub was a nice perk and very relaxing on one rainy morning. We would stay here again!

The dock is listed as private but we had to run off several intruders and on one occasion at night they had left evidence of at least 3 people,We don’t know who these people are they are no doubt other vacationers. We were uncomfortable with these situations.

We came into Cumberland for a weekend of Striper fishing, Creelsboro Rockhouse and Cumberland Falls and this was a great location and had everything we needed plus a good value.

This cottage was so cozy! It is equipped with everything necessary for a great stay. The hot tub is amazing! It’s one that would be found in a private home and not a rental. The views from the back patio of Golden Pond are breathtaking!! I highly recommend staying here. Steve, the host was very friendly and very responsive.

This place is beautiful. The pond and the deck were so peaceful. And we loved the resident duck! We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It had plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen was wonderful. Close to Conley Bottom Marina and close to town for any items that you forgot to bring. We will be staying again here for sure. Thank you Steve for being close by for any questions we might have had.

We loved the cottage. It is so clean and unique. The view from the screened in porch is beautiful and relaxing. The bed was comfortable and cozy. The location is perfect, a marina is 8 miles away. The host was accommodating and readily available. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. We will definitely come back to Golden Pond. So glad we found this gem.

It was just my husband and I for the weekend. The hot tub was perfect for us. Although, it would have been nice to have a manuel for it. The dock is truly right out front and is beautiful at sunset. The owner called before we arrived for security deposit & told us where to go for bait. Make sure to bring food & drinks with you, there aren't many options nearby. Walmart is about 13 min away. The coffee maker wasnt working while we were there. We went to Cumberland Falls which was about 45 min away, beautiful site. Another waterfall is Seventy Six Falls which is about 25 min away. Although its attached to an office, we didn't hear anything. Overall, we loved the seclusion & solace of this cabin.
