This home offers:
~ A fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances and granite countertops, open to a long, wooden farmhouse dining table for the group or family meal
~ A comfortable living room on the front of the house, plus a family room in the rear equipped with flat screen TV
~ A single main level 'Master' bedroom with a Queen size bed
~ A main level bath with both a large jacuzzi bathtub, and a separate standing shower
~ Three bedrooms on the upper level:
Upstairs BR 1:One Queen-size bed
Upstairs BR 2:Two twin-size beds, trundle style

The house was very accommodating. We had a toddler and infant in our group and 9 adults. The dining room table was large enough to accommodate all of us and loved the outdoor space. It was a lovely older home with lots of character.

Wonderful clean home that easily accommodated our large family group. Home was well equipped with everything we needed. Kids loved playing in backyard. Great places to hang out both inside and outside the house. Good neighborhood location within walking distance to downtown Salida. Will definitely plan to stay again when back in Salida.

It's a beautiful home that's well kept. The main road in front of the house was closed and I wished we had a heads up on that. The jacuzzi tub did have mould that came out of the jets, but other than that, it was great.

A wonderful place to stay. Very comfortable.
Has everything you need. Very comfortable beds. A little cold, however, being from Florida that was expected. I absolutely love the claw tooth tub. Solita is a fun place to visit and this is the perfect house to stand. Looking forward to a return visit.

What a cute home to stay in! We were in Salida for our daughter's wedding. We LOVED the location and the house. An older house that is was so quaint with up to date appliances and so well supplied. It was everything we needed and more. Personally, loved the sunflower room. Fun to watch the deer everyday. We had a small issue getting into the house (lockbox no longer there keypad on the door) After hours was so easy to reach and not only stayed on the phone and ready to come out if needed but followed up with multiple text/email in the morning to make sure everything was good. Would definitely rent this place again. Loved the home and the town of Salida!!

We loved this place. Very well cared for and very clean. The backyard is amazing and the inside was beautiful. It was so peaceful there we didn’t leave as much as we thought we would. We walked to town every day and always saw several deer. We’ll definitely be back, thank you

The house was good , just the normal things that 100 year old houses don't have but over all it was all good. House was well equipped , nicely decorated and it's a nice walk into downtown.
My only complaint and it's fairly big , is the exterior landscaping is a huge mess. We drove by the house twice because we thought it couldn't possibly be our rental , it looked like it was abandoned. If I lived next door to this home , I wouldn't be happy . The owner needs to be a better neighbor and look after their property !

Great Historic House
This is a really nice historic home, that looks even better in person than the pictures are able to capture. It had pretty much everything that we needed for our stay, especially all the amenities you need for cooking. The only things I would note: there was no shampoo or conditioner in either shower, and the bedrooms all get very cold (we stayed in winter) with the doors closed. There were space heaters and extra blankets to help with this. Otherwise I would highly recommend this property!

Despite getting record breaking snowfall and low temps for the time of year, we had a great time and the property served us well. Easy walk to downtown. Enjoyed snowshoeing and nearby hot springs. Updated home had lots of room for the 4 of us and was very clean and comfortable.

Beautiful home
This gorgeous home was well equipped, complete with linen, towels, kitchenware, and seating nooks (indoors and out) to sit and visit as a family. Clean and comfortable, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Our host thought of everything, from sending directions just in case cell reception was not great to brochures and local activity suggestions. Little notes throughout the house, made our stay easy and enjoyable.

Clean and historical
Holy cow I think this is the cleanest rental I have ever stayed at! We all fell in love with the house immediately and started making plans to come back another time and spend a lot longer. The 3 year old enjoyed the toys and the other two children loved having comfy couches to hang out on to read. Everything we needed was within walking distance. This house is exactly the sort of place I dream of retiring to... we will definitely be back and hopefully stay a whole week!

Sweet Salida Weekend
Our group of nine women had a wonderful stay over the weekend. We loved enjoying the two different and comfortable sitting rooms, the large dining table that fit all of us, and the outdoor patio around the fire ring. It is such an easy walk to town as well. The home was clean and beautifully decorated. We hope to be back for another special gathering. Thank you!

We were a group of 6 mature women that found the space perfectly adequate for our needs. We enjoyed the large kitchen and outside patios. The large dining table allowed us to sit together and enjoy our time together. Great decorating and kitchen appointments! A very comfortable place to spend some with people you like!

Perfect House!
I would give this house 10 stars if possible. It was perfect in everyway for our stay in Salida for our son's wedding. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. There was plenty of room for extended family to come and go. Beautiful fenced in backyard was perfect for grilling and eating outside. Easy walk to downtown Salida as well. Our family will always have fond memories of our week in Salida and La Dimora.

The house was adorable, and just what we needed for the weekend!
My best friend got married in a salida and we were able to get ready at La Dimora. There was plenty of space for all the ladies to get dressed, do hair and make up! We enjoyed the house, back patio area, and appreciate the closeness to downtown! I have some pictures that the photographer took if you would like me to share them!
