No AC made this place 80 degrees at night when it was only in the upper 60’s outside. We used all 6 fans provided, all of which were black with mold and covered in dust. We were blowing black residue out of our noses and it left my 3 yr old coughing all the next day. Needless to say, no one slept well and I had to drive my 3 yr old around until 2am to get him to sleep as I waited for the place to reach a tolerable temp.
The next day we tried to enter the pool building and the key didn’t work, pissing our sleep-deprived kid off even more. We left that afternoon just one day into our 3-day rental as the place was even hotter when the sun was facing it.
Convenient location, but without AC this place should not be rented out in July or August and those fans are a health hazard. Stay away.

The listing says "no/limited" a/c and that needs to be changed or supplemented to clarify that there is no air conditioning in the unit at all. The unit management group was difficult to contact and it was difficult to get a response from them. We did not get an answer to emailed questions until after we checked in. We waited to book in hopes of getting answers to our questions, but ended up booking because time was running short and no answers had been received.
The condo is nice, well furnished and pleasantly decorated.

We managed to stay one night without air conditioning! I had to spend a lot of extra money to move us to a new rental so we could be comfortable. In today’s day, I wouldn’t expect to have to ensure a summer rental property has a/c. We had a miserable, hot night in which no one slept. The stuffiness caused my friend to have edema in her ankles and she was sick the rest of our trip. I called customer service who could do nothing but offer us more fans. Yes, blowing around hot air makes it better. The place was clean and was roomy enough for us, however, we couldn’t enjoy it. Be aware when reviewing the listing. Nice location and convenient
The condo was in a nice location and close to several places to eat and enjoy the lake. Although we were there during the summer months I can see it being a perfect location in the winter. The ad is clear that there is no A/C however there were fans that we placed near the windows to cool off the place and it was comfortable to sleep.

NO CENTRAL AIR.
This is a really nice property, the view is ok. Its clean, plenty of room, and very nice. The only drawback is no central air. Other than that its perfect.

It was not as smooth as I would of liked it to be. Three times I got an email saying I did not sign a credit card recite and I did and I emailed this person back three times and eventually had to call. Then I talked to another worker online and specifically asked if there was air conditioning and I was told yes and there was not. It seemed like everything was a struggle. The emails I continuously got was quite ridiculous esp when I did everything I was suppose to. So the problem was not with the property it self it was the people who worked at Taylor Made. I have rented many houses down at Deep Creek and this was the first time I went with Taylor Made and I am not to sure if I would continue with this company.

The house was confortable and well equipped. The hot pool a real plus. Nevertheless the view of the apartment on the parking lot was disappointing and not visible from the ad or pics, i would have not chosen such property otherwise, this gave a motel feel.

The condo was nice enough and big. Plenty of room. The amenities ( indoor pool, tennis courts) are nice. The main issue was we asked for early check in and instead our place wasn't cleaned and ready until 5 pm. The renters before us had left at 10:03 am! There was no air conditioning. I didn't realize this. As a winter destination condo it kind of makes sense but it was HOT! They gave us a pool key to use and it didn't work. Took them 45 minutes to drop off a new one. We had a hard time finding the condo. Our gps was taking us to another set of condos. I called and the man who answered wasn't very helpful and kind of acted like I was some kind of Ditz for not understanding. Then my husband called and the guy acted like we were crazy for not understanding where it was. When someone has never been to a place don't you think as a person in customer service that you might be more helpful????? The women at the desk were very nice and helpful when I stopped in the office so I think it's more that they aren't communicating. Again, the condo is nice enough and once it was cleaned it looked great but the service wasn't good. I love the area and will go back but will be leary of renting with them again.

Overall we were quite pleased with our stay in Ski Harbor. The location was great, it was nice to be so close to the water, the place was well stocked, the indoor pool was great. It was very peaceful and relaxing and what we were hoping for. The one big negative was the lack of air conditioning. I assumed there would be a/c as every other rental we have had in our six years of renting had it. It was tough having to sleep with loud fans. There was no cross breeze and the unit heated up a lot when we cooked. I would hesitate to rent that unit again solely due to the lack of a/c.

Very happy with the unit, was perfect for this trip. Coffee maker should be replaced. We were surprised to find the keyless entry code stopped working as we loaded to leave at 8:00am causing some panic. Fortunately we had a phone and able to call the emergency number.

This was our very 1st experience & I must say it was a phenomenal one. The location was great close to the grocery store, black bear & smileys. The people were very friendly & helpful. The only downfall was they were in the process of construction so we couldn't use the balcony but overall we made the best of it. I (we) would definitely come back!

There were 6 of us in the family including 2 kids younger than 8. After extensive search we found affordable weekend rentals options on Taylor-Made website 2 weeks before the trip.We settled for Ski Harbor #45 due to its location, community pool and layout. Overall a nice vacation relaxing in swimming and hiking and state park sightseeing. Ski Harbor #45 is well equipped in kitchen but we cannot see lake from the window as shown on slides. The beds/futon/sleep-sofa were old. All adults could not sleep well due to the squeeky sound of the beds. The futon fell apart in the middle of the night with one adult and one child sleeping on it. Taylor Made was able to fix it before the next night. We will come to Deep Creek area again but stay somewhere else.

I was not aware that the summer rental property DOES NOT have A/C unit! It is unexceptable! When I rented the condo the agent told me that it is "on the lake and has access to the beach". The condo that we rented was NOT ON THE BEACH! It did not have any lake view and there is no real beach in this community.

It was a surprise weekend for my wife and our dear friends from Cleveland met us there. We were very satisfied with the condo, the kitchen was completely stocked and your staff was wonderful, (especially Friday night at 10 when we came back from dinner and couldnt remember the code to get in and our paperwork was inside the condo). We have already recommended you to a friend who is coming for the summer vacation.
