I love this B&B and would highly recommend to my family and friends!

The location was amazing! Close to everything we wanted to see in the Tuscany area, including San Gimignano, Florence, and Volterra. the house is nestled in the country short drive to San Gimignano, surrounded by vineyards, olive trees, and magnificent views! We could see the medieval hill town of San Gimignano from our bedroom window. Breakfast was a bonus! Carla and her sons were amazing hosts and made us feel so welcome.

I can't think of anything negative.

Lovely friendly, warm & accommodating Italian hospitality.

The coziness of the place. Run by two brothers, Andrea & Francesca and their mama. They were very welcoming. The pool and our apartment was amazing. Bonus that you could order drinks and have it by the pool. It was a 15min walk & I didn’t mind that but if you have mobility issue not a good idea to stay here.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like…a small thing which is limited parking. The breakfast was okay if you like sweet things for breakfast.

Loved our stay at Ponte a Nappo

Loved, loved, loved our stay at Ponte a Nappo. Amazing location, pool was great the rooms are spacious and clean. Great walking distance to town and loved that the B&B was family owned and run. Didn't want the holiday to end.

The only one thing we can say that was negative was that the walls are quite thin...so you can hear your neighbours! However in the end it became a fun talking point for my family, thankfully we had neighbours who were very considerate.

Excellent services. Parking near the town of san gimignano. The breakfast was lovely and the lunch was too, when we stayed to have it. Comfy rooms, lovely staff. Amazing view towards san gimignano from the property. Good sunbeds and great pool.

We stayed towards the end of the season so I suspect it was more quiet and therefore the staff were less available for lunches. The time available for lunch was quite short and no mention of an evening meal. Prepare yourselves for a steep walk up to San Gimignano, but after all the food this was good exercise.

I wish I could say other, since the team is very nice but this stay was rather unpleasant.

We really enjoyed the location of the property and the privacy of the area. the garden is a perfect spot for relaxation. furthermore, the ladies working at the breakfast buffet are very forthcoming.

The walls are paper thin and we were neighbors to young parents, so sleepless nights were on our daily schedule. Also the soundproofing of the entire building is very poor, and you could always hear people coming in and out of the rooms and main door. The beds were insanely uncomfortable and gave us back pain for days. Furthermore, service at the pool and throughout the day was actually very uncomfortable since you’d always had to run around to find someone of the team to open the refrigerator and hand you whatever kind of drink or even water. The way that the building is structured is a little off, with no other space offered than your room or pool to sit and relax. Besides the fact that this is “just” a Bed and Breakfast, I would not recommend coming here.

Great authentic place with an amazing view, big pool and good breakfast

Very authentic B&B on a amazing location walking distance from San Gimignano and supermarket. It's located on a gravel strada bianche, not easy to reach with a racing bike or low car. The view from the pool and terrace area is just fantastic. It's facing both the towers of San Gimignano as the Tuscan hills including countless olive trees and vineyards. The building and rooms are old but they made the best out of it. The bathroom was a bit smelly but clean. The shower has hot water quickly but is rather small with a cumbersome sliding door. Every two days cleaning is done and new towels are provided. The azzurra room has a nice hidden kitchenette with percolator, fridge incl. small freezer, ice cube tray and 2 electric pits (without pans though!). The double bed actually has a double sheet and duvet, which we like. The breakfast is mainly a proper Italian one, so sweet. But there is also some simple bread, ham and cheese and yoghurt with cereals, but no eggs nor bacon e.g. The coffee (cappuccino and espresso) and cornetti are good, the cakes are not homemade but ok. Depending on the season there is a dinner 2-3 times a week and in the afternoon you can order various nice drinks and bites.

For a B&B there are quite a lot of rooms so don't expect a too warm/personal welcome. When you have loud neighbours it is impossible to sleep because you hear every word. In the evening there is no possibility to get any food nor drinks. Next to that, all communal areas inside are closed. So next to your room you can only sit outside. That's really a pity.

Relaxing stay with beautiful Tuscany scenery

We liked the swimming pool with view on San Gimignano so much and there was also a beatiful garden around the house. It was relaxing to just stay at the pool and watch the scenery of Tuscany which looks as nice as in the photos. It is located quite close to the city centre by foot.

The bed was not very comfortable and the bathroom was a bit old.

The view at San Gimigiano is just the best! Nice, cozy B&B, with nice staff. You feel relaxed at the countryside and its just a 15-20min walk to San Gimigiano.

Not worth the money, an OK choice to crash on the way.

The location was great and the breakfast was really nice and fresh. Also the compound was nice.

The bathroom sadly smelled of cigarettes. Also the walls were very thin and we heard a baby crying in the room next to us. Also the heating was quite loud but we had no choice but to because it was cold. Lastly, there was a kitchenette in the room but for some reason no coffee or tea was supplied - only an electrical stove.

A perfect weekend to the wine land

A very beautiful location, in the middle of wine yards. A quiet area, a nice house with comfortable rooms.

For us it was to warm in the room. We didn’t manage to find out how to stop the heating system.

Top spot close to the town

The view was breathtaking. Rooms where spacious. The pool is fantastic even though we couldn’t use it. The owner family was super friendly and always reachable.

Breakfast was quite basic, Internet was quite slow, all in all a bit expensive (additionally proposed meals and wine/Prosecco to buy as extra)

Excellent location. Very nice stuff. The building looks just amazing, from the pool you have a wonderful lanscape and view of San Gimignano. Only 15 minutes walking to the town. Parking place at the b&b is free and comfortable. Bathroom clean and well equipped. Breakfast tasty, not exceptional.

Fantastic view, the family is warmly welcoming you and take their time to answer all your questions. The time at the clean ppol is totally relaxing and even this spot offers the perfect picture of San Gimignano. We will come again for sure.

We had a little "wardrobe kitchen" but no equipment such as plates or a pan etc. Though we did not need it I assume that those things can be borrowed from the host.

Amazing location, with a stunning view of San Gimignano. 10 min walk along a dirt track and you are at the start of the town. Breakfast was plenty and taken outside on the terrace. The swimming pool gave an un inhibited panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. We would definitely stay again if we came back to the area.
