Pros: loved the bikes, great location close to Alys/Rosemary areas, exceptional communication with host— always very speedy. Nice to have a community pool so close.
However….
Cons: we booked this place because we really wanted the use of a hot tub:..in our full week here, it never worked even after we notified the host about the issue and were told it would be addressed. No financial compensation was offered.
The furniture was very dingy, sticky and wobbly. The furniture was generally uncomfortable and in clear need for an upgrade. (Example - The coffee table is a tray on top of two baskets)
Be aware that you are expected to provide most of your own basic supplies such as toilet paper (only provided 1 roll per bathroom for one week), trash bags, salt and pepper…not well stocked.
Reviews for this house on VRBO were not consistent with our experience.
Would not use this VRBO again.

A great location with easy beach access! It's an easy 15 minute bike ride to Alys and Rosemary. It was nice to have a whole place to ourselves. There are several rental options for beach chairs that were easy to use. Bikes were available and ready to go. Good shower pressure. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed (though bring your own seasons/salt & pepper/oils etc). We can easily see ourselves returning to this rental!

Cottage met all of our needs for a memorable and enjoyable visit to 30A. Convenient location to all the wonderful things! Would definitely recommend for families traveling with children (just husband and I on trip) - certainly checks all the boxes!

This cottage is perfect. It was clean and well appointed. We have stayed at the cottages of camp creek several times. It never disappoints. This cottage is perfectly situated on the pool. Perfect for families with kids. We will be back.

Overall we had a great experience with this cottage. Perfect size for 5 people, close proximity to the beach, quiet at night ( during spring break no less), and the management team went above and beyond communicating with us. They helped us retrieve a lost package and helped us connect to the TV late at night (for our teenagers). The cottage was exactly as described in the listing and I would definitely stay here again.

The cottage was so cute and perfect for our family of 5. The location is amazing and having the bikes was a huge perk. It was too cold to use the pool, but my kids would have definitely made use of it. The cottage was fully stocked with everything you need for your stay and the beach which was really nice. We would rent it again!

We loved our location! The pool was immaculate and couldn’t be closer, and the beach ( unbelievably white and clean and clear) was only a few steps away! We want to come back for longer next year!

Superb Location!
If you want a little piece of paradise then this is the place. The pool was a big hit with our 11 yro and the five minute walk to the beach was easy and beautiful! Groceries are about a 10-15 minute drive to Publix. However, Publix is building a new store directly across from the entry road to Santa Rosa Beach.. Ron Wilson (Maintenance Manager and then some!) went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. A very pleasant surprise. I highly recommend this property.... LIVE THE COAST PROPERTY MANAGEMENT and MAINTENANCE definitely exceeded our expectations! Thank you all!

Spring Break 2021
I stayed here with my two teenagers and couple of their friends. The beach wasn't too far. House was clean and had plenty of room. Pool and hot tub were convenient and lovely. We had great weather and enjoyed the beach.
The bikes and other beach stuff was great to have. Property manager was quick to respond to all questions. Definitely will stay again.

We were here for 2 weeks. We were pleased with the cleanliness of the property; etc. The few problems we had were handled extremely well by Ashley, the property manager. She made our stay very positive.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Having a place all to ourselves was very nice. The cottage had everything we needed. Being directly off the pool was great and getting to the beach was a breeze. Beds were very comfy. Bathrooms were nice and all towels and linens excellent. Would certainly stay here again!!

Enjoyed the pool right out of the back door! Everything was clean and ready to use. Bikes allowed us to barely drive anywhere during our stay.

Great Location
The place was a short walk to the beach and was very clean. The furnishings are very basic but adequate as are the kitchen supplies. The only issue we had was with the ice maker. It does not dump the ice into the bin so it doesn't make more. We manually dumped the ice. Not worth calling the management to us.

Beachy Keen
Great forth of July trip on cottage way, the week went by faster than expected. Not a bad walk to the deeded beach, and easy access to the beautiful pool. Restaurants are the best the gulf can offer and much more! I highly recommend this place.

Very nice beach house with pool
I traveled with my husband and toddler. The house was perfect for a week's stay with everything we needed. The beds were also very comfortable! The walk to the beach wasn't too long. The on site beach items were a nice plus, although the wagon was a bit worn. We ended up buying a wagon to transport our "stuff" to the beach - remember we had a toddler in tow. The beach chair service was great. The property management team provided us with their contact. The pool was nice, although there wasn't umbrellas for shade. The only downside, which you would know before going, is the house isn't walkable to restaurants or shops. Alys beach donut truck was a mile walk. As long as you don't mind driving everywhere, this is an excellent rental.

Wonderful cottage just far away from busy areas
We loved our stay at Beachy Keen! The beach was just a short walk away (about 300 steps from our door to the beach access.) The beach access was a little tricky to find the first time we walked to the beach. The cottage was well equipped with boogie boards, floats, games, beach chairs, a collapsible wagon, and umbrellas for the beach. We loved having access to the pool right out the back door! The location of the house is perfect. Less than a mile from Alys Beach and a quick drive to the HUB and Seaside.
If you plan to do a lot of cooking you may want to bring your own pans. There was only one ceramic frying pan. We did have to rearrange furniture to make it more kid-friendly but it was an easy fix.
We would certainly stay at Beachy Keen again if we return to the area.

We loved the cottage. It was comfortable and equipped.
From the moment we arrived, it felt like home. It was right near the pool, just steps away, yet secure to keep the small ones from slipping away. It was nice to be able to sit on the porch swing and watch the pool when the family was swimming. There were extras that we didn't expect to find, like a must-have wagon to take everything to the beach, along with beach chairs and toys for the little ones. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked great. The accommodations were clean and there were plenty of towels! the only draw back was the walk to the beach. I would have preferred it to be close enough to at least have a view of the beach. But we had a great time and were very comfortable in this quaint cottage and held our party of 7 quite well! Thanks for a great vacation and I will be using this property management team again!

Great location and clean little cottage. We loved being right next to the pool. It is right outside the back door. The cottage is convenient to all areas along 30A. The access to the beach is a little far, but we rented a golf cart and that made it much easier.

This was a great place to stay. It was very family friendly and the pool was excellent.
The cottage was great, perfect size. The swimming pool was a perfect option and well protected for little children with a gate latch that was high and required 2 hands. We will definitely consider return visits.

The cottage was so convenient to the pool and beach and very charming. If we had a question about ANYTHING it was answered promptly. We had a lovely time.

Great location close to beach
I would have given a 5 except for the fact that the pool was way too cold to swim. Not sure why they would not have a heated pool especially during winter months. Sadly, we just had to sit by and look at it.
