We were blown away by the view! The gardens were beautiful and well kept. The inside provided plenty of space for our family and something for everyone. We really enjoyed our stay and hated to leave! Super convenient location.

My husband and I and 4 kids ranging in ages from 18-22 stayed at this house for 6 nights to attend a wedding in Charlevoix. The location and view were so beautiful that pictures don’t do it justice. Very private and quiet. The house itself is very well equipped and stocked. I’m a self-professed foodie and was very impressed with the kitchen tools, small appliances, utensils and crockery. I was able to cook and bake away and the only thing I could not find was a potato peeler. Kids loved the games room downstairs, the loft upstairs and the beach. The location itself was very convenient to both Petoskey and Charlevoix and there’s a great bike path extending all the way to both towns with unbelievable views. Tami was a great hostess who was prompt to answer our questions. The house guidelines were all clearly documented. The outdoor patios, seating and gas fire pit were all well maintained and very comfortable. Plenty of extra blankets provided. Not a ton of towels but lovely newer washing machine and dryer fully stocked with detergent and fabric softener to wash the towels as needed. The only drawback I noticed was a public access stairway next to the property that draws people going to the beach and parking on the dead end in front of the house. This combined with an open backyard and no gate preventing people from accessing the back of the house, doorwalls, any personal possessions on the decks. Just felt it could have been more secured. Otherwise, it was perfect!

This place is even better than advertised…….the cleanliness, amenities and multi levels of decks for spectacular views was worth every penny!! We had such a great time and rarely left during our stay, but when we did have to leave, anything we needed wasn’t a far drive. With it pretty much in the middle of Charlevoix and Petosky it was very convenient to venture to both cities during our stay…….Tami was very easy to get ahold of, and she answered texts very quickly. I highly recommend this place and surely hope to make it back again one day.

We had the opportunity to get away with our siblings and their significant others for a long weekend getaway. We could not have picked a better home to stay in for four days. While we liked the option of a pool table and tvs, we found ourselves enjoying the entertaining spaces outside and never turned on a tv. We were able to enjoy our morning coffee and conversation on the back deck overlooking the Lake Michigan waves bouncing off the shore. After watching the views for a while, we would venture down to the water line to look for a few rocks, of course petoskeys and fossils were plentiful. Throughout the day, we found ourselves migrating down the deck to the second layer overlooking the beautiful lake view as we had dinner and plenty of laughter. The evenings were filled with breathtaking sunsets just before we migrated into the great room for game nights and laughter into the night. The house itself had everything we could ask for. Comfortable beds, fans, and plenty of privacy. The house was perfectly landscaped, was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. It was located close in proximity to the quaint towns and wineries, and is located next to a very long biking/walking trail. We enjoyed ourselves and each other so much, we all hope this was the first of many annual trips together. The Smith Family

Amazing view. Close to Petoskey in and Charlevoix, and lots of activities.

We enjoyed the rocky beach for collecting and skipping stones. The home is just down the road from a trail through t the woods to the waterfront, as well. It’s nicely located near downtown Petoskey and is a a great place for a family who likes adventures.

The home was great and so was the beach. All the amenities you could possibly need! Tami was great and immediately responded when I had a question! Definitely would recommend and would stay again.

Another great week in this wonderful house in a perfect location. Rock castles on the beach, s’mores on the fire, sunsets for days, bikes and runs on the nearby trail with quick trips into petoskey and charlevoix. Couldn’t ask for more.

House was beautiful and location was gorgeous. Fantastic views of the sunset over Lake Michigan. The whole family including to young kids enjoy our stay! Petosky and Charlevoix are only a short drive away as well as a couple state parks on Lake Michigan and Lake Charlevoix.

Fantastic property, very relaxing halve way between Petosky and Charlevoix, about an hour from Mackinaw bridge. All rock beach, so good for rock hunting. Highly recommend. Thank you!

My siblings and our spouses rented this house for a long weekend getaway. It is very beautiful and well-appointed. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot. The outdoor seating areas are very accommodating with gorgeous landscaping and amazing views of Lake Michigan. I’ve stayed in other lakefront properties with stairs that are not easy to navigate but the stairs were in great condition.

My family and I loved everything about the house. It was clean, well-stocked and a perfect size for the 6 of us. We especially enjoyed the game room and patio on our first chilly day there. The view was gorgeous and the sunsets spectacular. Tami was quick to respond to questions. I highly recommend this property!

This was a very beautiful home and property, the view is breathtaking! We all enjoyed it very much, very cozy and spacious.

Clean house with a stunning view!

The photographs of the property really can’t do the view or the peaceful quality of the property justice. It helped that we had spectacular weather but I’d return any time of year. We had more than enough room with four adults, a 2 1/2 year old and a 3 month old baby (with all her baby gear). I see lots of reviewers mention the spiral staircase and the owner helpfully recommended a baby gate and bungee cords but our toddler granddaughter fortunately wasn’t too interested in the stairs. She LOVED the little beach. It’s rocky but her favorite thing to do was toss stones into the water so it worked out perfectly. The house was clean with lots of loving and thoughtful details. We made trips into Charlevoix, Petoskey and Harbor Springs easily. The trip will be part of our favorite family memories and we definitely hope to return.

This house is in a lovely location, close to surrounding towns, but in a private quiet neighborhood. It is right on the water next to a walking path. The house was clean and had plenty of space for our group to spread out, and the deck and patio areas are fantastic with beautiful views of the water. The host was also super gracious when we had to change our trip plans because there was a death in the family. We appreciated their flexibility!

The property lived up to the photos. The house itself is quite nice with lots of space to spread out and do different family activities. The yard with the fire pit is good sized and the multiple levels of decks are fantastic. The beach itself is extremely rocky so water shoes are an absolute must and watch your step. We had great weather and gorgeous sunsets every night, just like the photos. The house borders a public access staircase to the beach so it isn't completely isolated and it should be noted that there is a fair amount of foot traffic to the beach if that bothers you. The neighbor we spoke to was very friendly. The location is about 7-10 minutes from both downtown Petoskey and downtown Charlevoix so that couldn't be much better for that area and there are tons of things to do. We loved our experience and would happily recommend the property.

We were up north for a family wedding and made a week long trip of it. We have three young kids under 4.5 and had two adult friends also staying with us so it was a full house. Thankfully, the house was mostly kid-proof! Though it was a little loud with the kids running around on the hardwood floors, they slept through the night with the fans+sound machines. Really loved how many doors/entrances and two separate hangout areas, hugely helpful with the kids sleeping in different rooms. The kitchen was nicely stocked with all the basics and nice having a dishwasher, though it was small. The washer and dryer were really nice and easy to use! Really appreciated towels, detergent, toilet paper, etc all being fully stocked and easy to find. Three of the four bedrooms were kind of small but very clean and really only used for sleeping anyway. The only recommendations would having a keypad or at least two keys in the lockbox if two families stay so that people don’t have to put back in lockbox daily. Also, if going with littles, bring a baby gate (or move furniture around like we did) and avoid the top deck area bc even though it’s mostly enclosed, it’s wiring vs plexiglass so little kids could potentially damage or fall through. Overall, was such a peaceful and great stay. Almost exactly between Petoskey and Charlevoix. The private beach was wonderful and the water shoes in the basket at the house were super convenient. Would definitely recommend and stay there again!

This home was a fantastic find! The views are superb and there are multiple deck levels to use while admiring the lake and the shoreline from above. The steps were relatively new and easy to navigate. The location of this home was ideal for our goals, which included lakefront, privacy, accessibility to outdoor activities, and fun! Being close to both Petoskey and Charlevoix was an added bonus, in that there is great shopping, numerous affordable golf courses and proximity to the bike trail. Also, the reviews are correct that this home has a marvelous mine of Petoskey stones. Then there’s the home itself. There were many supplies and games, including ping pong, billiards, badminton, and bird/squirrel watching! The house is decorated with a perfect mix of lakeshore/cabin decor including several bears—-just amusing and marvelous. The spiral staircase is a feature to contend with but it was not a show-stopper. The bathrooms were clean and large enough. The kitchen was well-equipped and the sliders made it easy to get fresh abundant Northern Michigan air flow! The washer/dryer came in handy. Overall, this is a great find with a superb location and unlimited access to things to do!
