With its high ceilings and sky windows, this Vantage Point condominium is bright, airy and pleasantly appealing, offering an abundance of mountain morning light. Views of the Evergreen forested landscape from the balcony provide immediate and intimate contact with the natural world. The decor is a unique mix of Old West Frontier cabin charm with subtle retro-leaning touches. The Native American artwork adds a sense of historical reverence, authenticity and wonder to the place. There’s a uniquely arched tiled mantle/hearth over the gas fireplace. Lots of carpeting in the living area is grounding and extends a feeling of warmth and welcome from within this homey home away from home.

Location is great. Apartment was old and the owner has many things desorganize. We did enjoy our week but would prefer another apparmemt in the same Location

We were three older couples out for a week of skiing. The place was pretty much as advertised, but the walk to the lift was much longer than a minute. It was probably 4-5 minutes, and there were two sets of staircases. The ski lockers were extremely convenient, and were large enough to hold the skis and poles. The down side of the condo is that the closets are full of things (pillows, boot heaters, extra blankets), so this really limited where you could put things. The larger master bedroom was just large enough to be comfortable. The other one lacked night stands. There was not a lot of space for groceries. The hot tub was nice, but you have to put the cover on and off. The on-site manager was extremely nice and accommodating. The closest laundry room only had one set of machines, but a short distance away was another one with 4 sets of machines.

The condo was the perfect fit for our family. The kitchen was fully stocked for meal prep. The kids enjoyed their own hideaway upstairs with the 3 twin beds.

There were a few issues with the residence. Loud highway noise, 3rd bedroom loft needs blinds or shades and better beds, coffee pot leaks and no kitchen towels or dish cloths. We traveled in 2 cars so a second parking space at the facility would have been very helpful. Overall, a great location to experience Vail. Enjoyed our trip.

Condo is located right outside of lionhead. Condo was clean and had plenty of room to settle in. Only complaint is the condo is located right next to I-70, so it is very noisy. We couldn’t sleep with the windows open because of the noise, so the nights were pretty warm. Bed wasn’t great either - definitely sinking in the middle.

First the cons: HIGHWAY NOISE! And no washer and dryer in the unit. Now the pro’s: very clean!! A great location! The kitchen was very well stocked. Tons of fans when it got warm which was great because again, they would drowned out the highway noise at night. The pool and hot tub were great! Beautiful flowers too!!

One block from downtown Lionshead and the Eagle Bahn gondola! Close to restaurants and bars & ski shops if you need to rent. We enjoyed the hot tub after a long day on the slopes. The condo was plenty big. We had 5 adults. It was nice to have 2 king beds as we are not small people. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and glassware. We didn’t cook so I can’t comment on the cookware. It was clean. The few complaints I have is there were some things broken that would make the place more enjoyable had they been fixed. One of the shower doors was broken so they put up a shower curtain on half of the shower. There was a broken chair in the family room. The upstairs shower knob fell off when we first tried using it but we were able to get it back on. These are things that would not stop me from renting again. Tip- run the humidifiers. It helps for a better nights rest. Also, we loved having the locker for ski equipment and the parking space was great!

There were some missing items that were provided to us after notification. Several minor maintenance issues which should be addressed. Some cooking utensils were dirty. Pots and pans should be updated. Several missing drawer stops. No light under microwave. Broken refrigerator drawer.

This overall location is good for staying in Vail. This particular unit is the last unit closest to the highway and has a little more road noise during the summer since you need to have the windows open to cool the unit. When the windows are shut you don’t hear anything though.

Great Location
In addition to the location in Lionshead with a short walking distance to the lifts, the appliances in the kitchen are modern, the gas fireplace is wonderful to sit around in the morning and after skiing, and the furnishings are comfortable. Our party had 4 adults, Not sure how many more you would want in the condo. It can sleep more than 4 as there is a loft with bedding and a third bathroom. The room sizes are adequate, but I would describe the overall condo as cozy as compared to roomy.

Great little cation in Lions Head
This location is ideal for a family to be in the center of lion’s head in a very short stroll, less than 4 minute walk to restaurant’s, shops and rentals!!!

Perfect for an affordable ski vacation
It is exactly as represented. A little older, but basically has everything. Good functional space, three separate bedrooms each with a bathroom. Excellent location relative to vehicle access and access to village and lifts. Some traffic noise. Two nice hot tubs reasonably close to the unit. Easy elevator access to the parking and ski locker. Some minor issues with older furniture and kitchen utensils. Management company was good, easier to get by text than phone. On site manager friendly and helpful.

Pleasant Stay
Enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is excellent in Lionshead - walking distance to everything so we never needed our car. The property itself has a well-appointed and updated kitchen, fresh linens and plenty of towels so it has a hotel-feel, vaulted ceilings, and a nice dining room table and open-plan living room. The condo is a good layout with the two large bedrooms on the main floor (nice and dark at night) and upstairs loft with 3 twin beds in the loft. The loft does NOT have a door, but it is private enough. Enjoyed the GREAT well-maintained pool and hot tub (we visited in August), and the beds were all quite comfortable. The condo unit overall could use some updates...for instance, the drawers in the dresser in one of the downstairs bedrooms were really janky (be super careful with kids around them), the carpet throughout is worn, and the blankets on the upstairs beds could stand to be replaced. As others mentioned, this condo is an end unit, so the noise from I-70 is significant. We kept the windows closed at night for this reason and powered up the fans. Otherwise though, this property worked well for our family trip.

2021 Family Ski trip
The experience surrounding our vacation from beginning to end was top notch! The property manager was very helpful and responded quickly when we had questions. The location of the property was perfect for us!

This is by far the worst VRBO property we have ever stayed in. To begin with, the condo was DIRTY. There are stains all over the couch, carpet, walls, and ceilings. The carpet was so outdated and filthy that we were afraid to walk around without shoes. The bathrooms had stains and dirt (or mold) in all the cracks and crevices. I found hairs all over the bathroom and the bedding. The towels and sheets were incredibly thin and cheap. The toilet paper was the absolute worst quality we have ever used. In the small bathroom, one of the glass shower doors was missing and a dirty curtain was hung in its place. The mattresses were old and uncomfortable. The dresser drawers were off their tracks and would not open and close properly. One of the dehumidifiers was cracked and leaked everywhere once water was added. The chair in the living room was broken. The kitchen was not fully equipped with cooking utensils and cookware. There were multiple light bulbs out. Two of the tv remote controls were broken. The WiFi was spotty and often didn’t work. All of the decor was old, worn out and/or broken, and unappealing. Others had commented on the traffic noise so we were prepared for that, but it was actually much louder than we expected. The only positive aspects of this rental are the proximity to the lifts, available parking, and ease of check-in.

Enjoyed it very much. Cozy, the fireplace makes the lounge area. Being in Lionshead village, able to walk to lifts and pleasant walk to Vail Village made everything accessible.

Perfect ski condo
Location was awesome - exactly as advertised. Prefect spot in Lionshead. Condo was clean and spacious. 2 king beds and 3 singles. 3 full baths. We had 4 guys - but 5 would have worked just fine. One problem while there - and fixed very quickly. Overall a great place.

Nice condo
Very nice condo, clean, well equipped, comfortable beds, nice pool, great location, easy walking to everything; just steps to Lionshead. The only negative is it butts right up to the highway so there can be significant highway noise. Not a problem if you are here in the winter with windows closed but in the summer with windows/deck door open it can be an issue. Overall though very nice!

Vantage Point 210
The property was spacious and bright. The kitchen and bathrooms had been recently updated but the furniture and carpets were very old. There is no air conditioning but this did not present a problem as the nights were cool. Leaving the windows open did cause a problem as the unit is very close to I -70 and thus quite noisy. The proximity to Lionshead and Vail Village was a plus. Parking was provided and easy to access.

Weekend in Vail
This was a great property. Very convenient and close walking distance to everything. Clean rooms. Stocked kitchen. The only recommendation we would have is to clean off the deck in order to sit out outside. The seating was thick with dust that would have needed a hose to clean them off so we had no way to clean them.

Not as advertised
When we arrived the pool and hot tub had no water. We were never informed of this and it was not in the property detail. We would not have stayed at the property if we knew this information. We asked for a discount and we received no response. Stay somewhere else.

Making the best of it!
We arrived the day before the resort closed due to Covid19. Totally bummed but we managed to quarantine ourselves for a few days there before deciding to head home early. The Berkshire folks (including Erin H) were great at responding and have assured me that I will be getting refunded for nights we didn’t spend there.
Overall the place is fantastic. Location in Lionshead is perfect. If you rent skis at Vail Sports at Vail21 it is literally a 2 minute walk to get your skis followed by 3 minutes to the bottom of the gondola. Could not be easier. Covered parking for 1 car is awesome too. Great Lionshead village restaurants and bars very close (like between condo and gondola), as is Arrabelle skating rink. In town bus (free) picks up a 1 minute walk from condo and goes over to Vail village. There is also a new little grocery store by the bus stop making it super easy to grab stuff for dinners, etc.
We have stayed at the Vantage Point condos before...this is the best unit as far as furnishings we have seen so far. Well stocked kitchen has what you need as far as utensils, pots/pans, etc. also a Keurig coffeemaker. Large tv in living room and smaller ones in bedrooms...especially helpful during quarantine 😄�. The condo was exactly as described online, except that the third bedroom actually has 3 twins not 2.
We are planning to return to Vail next year to make up for the skiing we missed this year, and will definitely be considering this condo to rent again.

Lovely 3 bedroom condo with a short walk to the Eagle Bahn gondola. Also it's an easy to walk to stores, restaurants, coffee shops and ice cream. The pick up location for in town bus is across the street.
