5 bedrooms and a sleeping loft. Two Master Suites -- one with cathedral ceiling and whirlpool bathtub. More than 1,000 sq. ft. of outdoor living space. We spent a week in the Smoky Mountains with extended family. There was 11 of us which included 2 young children. Everyone was happy with the accommodations. The house is very close to the southern border of the national park. There was little to no traffic from Maggie Valley (house location) to various water holes, hiking, tubing, etc. The host were quick to respond with occasional questions about the house or area. I would recommend this house to my friends.

We had seniors in their 70's and 50's then teenagers and younger children. Waverly lodge is gorgeous and we loved the privacy of the cabin. Road is steep but we managed just fine with a Ford Transit Van. Plenty of room for everyone. We had a couple MINOR hiccups but all was figured out quickly as hosts were awesome to deal with and responded very quickly. Thank You so much for allowing us to make so many memories at Waverly Lodge and we look forward to returning soon!! OH this cabin is NOT handicap friendly. Lots of stairs but was fine for us. Thank You again and I would definately recommend this lodge

Great location!!! So close to skiing, tubing and close to town. We had a great time in this beautiful home!!! The hot tub was great after a day and night of skiing! Highly recommend this property!

The house was clean and perfect for our group. We were able to have a complete Christmas dinner with all 14 of us at the table. Three infants in laps. We had fun playing games and opening presents. Each family had a room to themselves. Everything was clean and working. The hot tub and fire ring were there but too cold and raining to enjoy. Definitely would stay again if in the area.

Such a pretty house with tons of space. Lovely kitchen. Hot tub was being fixed when we got there and took two days to get hot, so that kind of sucked. But other than that, it was truly a perfect cabin and stay! We would definitely stay here again.

Everything exactly as advertised, and more. We were worried about kitchen items (pots, pans, utensils, etc) and there was an abundance of anything needed. Plenty of sleeping space and space in general, for 12 men to hang out, and even spend time on their own. Firepit area was great. Hot tub worked perfect. Plenty of parking.

Our stay was great! The host was very quick to respond to any questions i had. The house was huge, the pictures dont do it justice. We stayed with another family, totalling 9 people and there were rooms and beds that went unused because there is so much space. Location was nice and quiet. Still close enough for restaurants, groceries, and activities.

Matt & Lori were terrific VRBO hosts. We enjoyed Waverly Lodge over Memorial Weekend to celebrate a milestone wedding anniversary with family converging on Maggie Valley from all over the country. The large home that makes up the lodge provided comfortable accommodations for the 11 people that stayed at this beautiful location in the wooded mountains of Maggie Valley. The lodge is also very convenient for many activities in and around the area. We went rafting in Bryson City and took a ride on the Smoky Mountains Railroad. The generous-sized kitchen and dining area easily provided room for large gatherings. We recommend Waverly Lodge from our experience, especially for larger families.

Stayed at cabin during motorcycle rally in Maggie Valley. Very nice cabin and we enjoyed it. The only constructive feedback I would give to Owner is the leather furniture in living room is wore out and needs replacing. No other issues and loved the large kitchen island.

Perfect set up for a large group. , Beautiful house, clean, full of amenities to entertain everyone. Love the large dinning table that allowed all 11 of us to sit together for meals. This was the perfect place to make great memories for the last spring break for an awesome group of highs school seniors!

We had two families for an extended weekend and needed a place to stay for 3 nights to see the Biltmore and some of Smoky Mountain National Park. We are from Indiana, but were coming from South Carolina and had never really heard of or been to Maggie Valley. The location worked great for us because it was only 45 minutes from Asheville and 30 minutes from Cherokee, NC (and the south entrance to SMNP). The cabin itself was great! Everything in the cabin was clean, the interior (especially the main floor) was very well kept and the appliances were relatively new and in great working order (my wife was a big fan of the washer/dryer). The main table seats 10, but there is additional seating at the nice kitchen island. The kitchen was very well stocked with ample dishes and cooking utensils! The master bedroom was very nice (jet tub) and the bunk bed room was a hit with kids. Also, the hot tub outside was awesome and lots of time was spent in it over the course of our stay! Outside, there is a nice fire pit we used one night as well. The downstairs could get a little chillier, but there were multiple space heaters that performed well and after an hour there, we didn't notice any temperature issues. The cabin has more privacy than many of the cluster-cabin complexes we have been to in the past, so that was nice. There isn't a lot in the way of groceries within 10-15 minutes, so plan on that. Overall, we highly recommend this property!

My family and friends all loved the cabin. It’s so very cozy and has plenty enough space for a large group. I especially loved the separate living room area in the basement which allowed the young ones and sometimes noisier to seperate activities. The kitchen and dining are a were very spacious and well equipped. Definitely will return again. Owner was great to work with and great communication.

We all loved our stay here. We could not have asked for anything better! It was close enough to places we wanted to or needed to go, but yet in a world of our own for relaxation and family time. We would definitely recommend this cabin!

Three couples stayed. First time since 1974 that the three college roommates had been together. We had a great time. The house was as pictured. We had a minor problem getting a channel on one TV; called the host; got a call back and fixed the problem. We cooked all our meals. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, etc. Definitely recommend it. Beds comfprtable. All slept well.
