The house was easy to get to and right on the lake. The grandkids loved the fishing and swimming off the dock. The layout of the house worked for multiple families to be together but still have their own space. The house could use a little landscape cleanup but house still good formis

We had a wonderful time with our family for our 50th anniversary. Nice big place. Online pics need updated. It was nicer than pics show. Also only 1 set of bunks not 2. Host wasn't really easy to contact but would eventually respond. Overall we had a wonderful time. Plenty of water toys and things for us to use during our stay. It was great!

This will be our 3rd maybe 4th year of staying at this property.
We have always loved it!
However,this year, the hot tub leaked. We were aware of roof damage.
Beds, clean. Door knobs were starting to fall off or missing altogether.
The hall first floor bath door fell of it's hinges with very little useage.
Many outlets no longer worked.
The WiFi was once again down.
Overall, the main looming issue causing us to call the property manager(Jake), who arrived promptly.
The far back bedroom floor and all along back wall into 2nd family room was totally water soaked. Dangerous with little ones and 2 people with lung conditions, possibly contributing to black mold development.
We soaked up many towels and emltied the dehumidifier at least 9 times daily.
Needless,to say. We love staying here but feel some conditions had deteriorated greatly since the previous year.
Would hope the owner would give some compensation to faithful, conscientious renters, who would love to continue renting.
Otherwise, a beautiful home. We have so many memories!

Perfect location on the lake. View of lake and sunsets were amazing. Morning coffee on the deck was peaceful and relaxing. Plenty of room for family with kids. Two slips for boats but do not bring boats to the house. Put in the water at nearest boat dock before coming to the property. Parking was a little tricky but we managed two pickup trucks and SUV and boat trailer and small pull trailer just fine. Fishing off the dock was a lot of fun. We brought a lily pad for floating next to the dock. Great cove to kayak with family. Hot tub was fine. The outside of the property could use some updating but overall it was an amazing time.

Overall, this is a great house for a family gathering. Was amazed at all the amenities provided. Large deck for enjoying the view, patio area with fire pit, hot tub, and the dock was excellent for fishing and swimming.

Needed lots of bedrooms and character which house had. Dark and dated inside. Beautiful view of lake but windows very dirty, old coffee filter left in coffee maker and hair in hot tub. No WI-FI was an issue for our group. It wasn’t advertised, but I assumed it would have it? Treacherous, steep, dirt, gravel, driveway, one of our cars got stuck. We arrived in heavy rain. The worst was a freak accident on the dock where family member was simply standing fishing, and cement block broke, causing him to fall through the dock with leg injury. We should have been immediately offered a full refund.

We had an issue with the a/c not working when we arrived so it was quiet hot throughout the house. However the property manager was very responsive and got a technician out that evening. The whole house stayed nice and cool the rest of the time. The house is older but accommodated our family of 17's needs. There was plenty of rooms for everyone and more than enough bathrooms that no one was ever waiting for one. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and utensils which was amazing. We were also grateful that we didn't have to bring towels or bedding. The outside areas were great. The kids loved being able to get in the hot tub a couple times. The screened in gazebo was great in the evening. We loved being able to watch the one's fishing from that area. The dock was well used and the family loved how clean and big it was. Overall we were very satisfied with this rental and would consider renting again.

This is our 3rd time renting this house. It is perfect for large families. A little out dated and some things need maintenance and a little TLC but you can easily have a great time. Water is very deep and clean but Swim ladder is a little difficult to get up and down. Will definitely be back.

We had a great time. We learned you must want a boat to go anywhere otherwise drive 40 plus minutes. Take life jackets as there was only 3 there, a Lily pad or just jump in the lake. Very relaxing nice quiet spot. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying again.

We had so much fun! Cooler than normal with more rain than normal. We stayed here last year, so we knew what to expect. We really utilized the large hot tub this time. So happy for that I feature.
The property is older but huge for a big crowd!
The price is right for 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
The only downside was,no WiFi and 2 people needed to work remotely. We very much missed that in this day and age.

Family week at the Lake
Uncle Kens house was perfect for our family vacation. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms that everyone has their own space. The outside space was the best! Nice dock, covered deck area that always had a breeze, and deck overlooking the lake. We will definitely be back

Labor Day Tradition
For the last 4 years we have traveled to the Ozarks for an end of summer Hoorah. Typically we’ve rented a couple condos in the same complex, but decided to try a place that could accommodate our party of 16 under one roof. Everyone loved it! It was great to have our older teen and 20 something kids together under one roof with aunts and uncles! The bedrooms were ample giving everyone a space to call their own. The second living area was perfect as the “man cave”. The multi tiered decks and outdoor living space provided plenty of area for us to all eat together and enjoy the beautiful view! (We did invest in a couple yellow jacket traps as they were quite plentiful the first day)
The house was well equipped and had plenty of cooking utensils, pans etc. there was a keurig though we didn’t notice it in the pictures. The only thing missing was a blender which we required for our frozen drinks, thankfully Dollar General had a small Ninja type thing that worked well for us. The dock was awesome for hanging out, fishing and swimming. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub! The only challenge for some was the steepness of the drive (that’s why I don’t have a sports car lol) The location was perfect for us as we didn’t want to go to too many places. By boat there are many more options for restaurants/entertainment, but Jolly Rogers was just a short drive and the live band the night we went was awesome! Thank you for sharing your home with us! My friends have already asked me for the link to book it next year!

Lots of privacy! Loved the location. Plenty of space to spread out. Caretakers very responsive and wonderfully kind.Had a hard time initially making contact with the host. He doesn't respond through messages on VRBO but immediately answered his phone. He was very nice! Will hope to stay again!

Great Location and property
This is the second time we have stayed at this property and we enjoy it every time. We already have our family Vacation booked for next year! There were some issues with the septic tank but it was taken care of quickly. Danny, the owner's "hired hand", that lives next door was very helpful, easy to get a hold of with any issues and is always friendly! Needless to say the weather was perfect and so was the lake! Everyone had a great time!!

Family Vacation Done Right
We loved our experience at this property. The Caretakers for the property are nearby, and so helpful! The owner was great for questions before our stay!
The home itself is older and has some unique eccentricities, but none were horrible! The AC did fine for our stay, and the home stayed comfortable for all 15 of us. Plenty of extra cleaning, towels, blankets...
The dock is easily accessible, and great for swimming off of!

Family trip
We had a great time while staying here. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Property is functional but the cleaning and basic upkeep is poor. Ceiling fans covered in dust, mold growing in one of the showers and kitchen sink faucet is disgusting. Gutters need cleaned, they’re growing weeds, nails need to be hammered down or replaced on deck and kitchen outlets need to be operational. This property has so much potential if the owners had the right people taking care of the property.

Couples Getaway
The overall experience was great. The home was very spacious for our 11 person getaway. Most of us love fishing and I personally caught the most catfish
while others were catching blue gills and a few crappies. The hot tub was great and the caretakers of the home stop by to check on us, very nice people.. The only issue was the circuit breaker kept shutting the washer off due to one of the guidelines of washing the towels and drying them before leaving. We had to keep monitoring the washer to make sure it stayed on. There was some dusty areas but overvall, a great place for your family gathering!!

This part of the lake is so peaceful and the view is absolutely stunning!This property needs quite a few updates from the exterior decking to the furniture inside, but mainly- the deck is unsafe for children. There was temporary caution tape blocking a gazebo, where the deck was crumbling into the lake and a permanent keep out sign blocking the deck staurs that led into the lake. The hot tub was new, but the screen did not work so we do not know what temperatures/settings were selected.Most importantly, the a/c could not keep up to cool off the entire house. The internet and TV connection never did work for us, which the very sweet innkeepers reached out to help, we didn't need any internet or TV because the weather was nice for is. But be warned, if you need connection for working, this property would not work.The layout of the house worked really well for our large, extended family. We had 3 families and several kids. There are two family rooms, so the kids had their own space to hangout.Overall, we would come back because of the layout of the home if the price was a bit lower, as some of the amenities thag are listed were inaccessible.

August 2020
We Did not received a confirmation email the day Of check in. By chance found the code to the house when we arrived. Had a nice stay, 3 night total. Kitchen and baths fully stocked. I was there with my 2 sons, 2 nephews and several of their friends. They enjoyed the lake and hot tub. Once we were home, that evening I received an email from the owner informing me my deposit would not be refunded. I then called and spoke with him. Owner stated that someone had downloaded games and caretakers were unable to fix so Direct TV was called to fix. Both my sons assure me nothing was downloaded. They brought their own PS4 and had no reason to use the PS2. We never did have working cable while we were there. Nor have I seen the bill from Direct TV , which I requested during 2 separate conversations with owner. ALSO Apparently there was a checklist that I was not aware of as well and since I did not complete it the caretaker spent extra time washing towels and a washing a few pans in the sink. I left the dishwasher running. For the next renters reference that binder is somewhere in the home. Find it. Caretakers stopped by on day 2 and spoke w my son. No mention of a check list at any time. They checked on hot tub.
I had 2 phone conversations with the owner. I defended myself that without a checklist for reference I did not know how to leave the home. Mind you, what was left was 3 loads of towels and dirty dishes, his words. Also, trash cans in bathrooms were not emptied and I did empty kitchen trash. I tried to negotiate part of my deposit back. Ultimately In the end I’m out my Rather substantial deposit. . Not the way to wrap up a nice stay. HUGE, HUGE lesson learned on my part. Stay elsewhere, somewhere closer to Osage Beach. This property is 40 minutes from restaurants and outlet mall shopping. You work hard for your money. Given a chance and any excuse this guy will keep all he can.

Large house on the lake
The house fit 12 of us comfortably. Beautiful location. The road there is one lane gravel and the driveway is steep. The hot tub was very nice and the firepit. The gazebo and railing needs work. The pier is wonderful and there's fishing poles and noodles for swimming. Joy was very nice and the neighbor was great- selling us firewood. Would definitely stay there again. The property manager never replied to any emails but answered it you called him but wasn't very helpful on things we needed to bring- he hadn't been there recently.

Spacious and clean
We were very happy with our trip and have already booked our stay for next summer. Very spacious areas, plenty of bathrooms and nice clean area of the lake. Deck and dock was large enough for the whole family. Hot tub was very well maintained and we all had fun using it when it was rainy. Would definitely recommend to our friends.

Great for Family
The house is perfect for a family get-away! There is plenty of space to spread out and give everyone their own place. The house sets at the top of the cove, so the water is a bit choppy, but in an overall great location. Be sure to bring most of your supplies since the nearest large store is quite a bit of a drive. We struggled a bit to get check-in details, but were able to reach out when we arrived to get them. The house is nothing fancy, but it definitely serves its purpose for a trip to the lake.

Great place for a large group!
We had ana amazing time at this property. Our group included 5 families (10 adults and 7 children aged 3 to 16 years). There was plenty of room and the place was very clean. Plenty of room for 5 vehicles and the dock with extended area for hanging out and fishing was thoroughly enjoyed. There is a Dollar General and large Conoco within about 10 minutes of the house where you can get just about anything you could need last minute. The caretakers were some of the nicest, kindest people I have ever met. They are very welcoming and helpful. You can't go wrong renting this property!
