About this house rental
Open concept cottage located on beautiful Three Mile Lake. Offers 3500 square feet of family space with vaulted ceilings, 5 bedrooms, plus loft and 3 bathrooms. Master bedroom enjoys a private ensuite with walk in shower and waterside walk out deck!
Newly finished basement includes one bedroom with two sets of built in bunk beds and a second room with a queen bed plus built in day bed. Basement bathroom with double vanity, and tub/shower combo. Living area with TV/DVD player and ping pong table!
Situated on 1.75 acres of land this beautiful cottage offers 260' frontage with sunny southwest views of Three Mile Lake. Both shallow and deep water off the dock.
Exterior spaces completely re-finished with large fire pit area, a gentle slope to the water's edge and additional seating area at water front. Incredible water views.
Located on a quiet section of the Lake in Green Bay.
Located just 20 minutes from Bracebridge and Port Carling. Close to Shopping, groceries and LCBO.

We had a group of friends up here to celebrate our upcoming wedding and it was an AMAZING place! We had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and the rooms easily accommodated our group of 11.
The place was clean, exactly as shown in the photos, and the dock/waterfront was SO relaxing. We spent an evening by the firepit and it was definitely a highlight of the stay. Having a dryer was much appreciated when it rained one day while we were out golfing.
Only things I'd advise future renters on;
- don't forget to read the document the owners send with all the info, I missed it and ended up asking them a number of questions that were already answered
- plan for garbage removal! You must take all your trash & recycling with you at the end of your stay and we were almost out of room in our car. If we had planned, we would've taken smaller bags with us on days we went into town.

We had amazing family getaway. The accommodations were amazing plenty of space and things to do. we visited in the winter and enjoyed watching a family movie next to a cosy fire. There was tons of snow and there were beautiful views of the snow covered lake. We look forward to returning in the summer and enjoying the lake.

Overall it is a very nice cottage, with good location and road access. Our family of 9 adults and two children under 10 enjoyed our stay. We offer the following additional comments pro and con for your consideration.
Pro:
• Easy parking for four vehicles
• Nice view from the house and balcony,
• Beautiful landscaping,
• Dock large and very stable,
• Good fishing,
• Fire pit was well located and very useful,
• Reliable wifi,
• Lots of tvs,
• Comfortable furniture,
• Nice bedding,
• Ping pong table was great fun for the kids (and adults),
• Paddle boards were very enjoyable;
• Beautiful view of the stars on clear nights,
Con:
• Dryer broke down on the Saturday a few days after we arrived. The repairman did not arrive by Wednesday, the day we left,
• Kitchen & dining area are rather cramped if all 6 bedrooms occupied,
• The dock is relatively far & pathway quite sloped away from the house, making it difficult to access for older people;
• There is some erosion around the path to the lake about half-way down with water seeping through, making it necessary to walk on the stones to the side of the path which can be unstable,
• Garbage dump is really far (~30 minutes drive).
• No adult life jackets,
• Limited thermostat control and cold basement rooms,
• Some things seemed to be in disrepair (ie several broken Muskoka chairs at fire pit, dehumidifier in basement was never running, the dryer as noted, canoe paddles)

Our group had a blast at Lisa’s cottage. The waterfront is beautiful and so is the house. We had lots of space and activities to keep us entertained while it rained. There was something for everyone. When the sun came out we were able to take advantage of the beautiful weather and enjoy the lake. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back in future.

Went with a group of girls for a bachelorette weekend. Nothing exciting just a low key girls tripe away. I am not particularly outdoorsy and a bit of a princess. This place totally exceeded my expectations. Get the cottage experience without roughing it! All the girls were comfortable and had a blast. I will definitely be back with family!

Truly scratching my head after seeing everyone's recent reviews. Where should we start...
1) ANTS, lots of ANTS! Once you enter the property they start greeting you in the kitchen, big ones coming from around the fridge. Then you see them on the bench next to you when you're eating at the dining table. Then you see more of them in the floor below on the ottoman. Then you see them around the toilet and shower. We know it's close to nature and we should expect some bugs, but the ants infestation indoors is really over the top.
2) Once you enter the property, you get a strong smell of the last occupant's brunch (and possibly dinner?) and the smell lingers so it didn't give us a good vibe from the get-go.
3) Utensils in the kitchen cabinet, particularly the plastic bowls and frying pan, has ketchup-like stains and again you can see and smell the last occupants' meal(s). We ended up tossing our food that was cooked on the pan because of this. Cleanliness (and hygiene) is an issue and you can see black stains in sink and shower as well.
4) No blankets and no bed sheets. There's a single sentence (which we admittedly missed) about no linen in the rental document, and we were blanket-less for the first night till other family members brought blankets the day after.
5) Insufficient hot water supply. We had couple families with kids, and after one kid having a bath and another adult showering, there was no more hot water left and every other person had to wait for almost an hour for water to be heated in between.
6) Air circulation is an issue at the main floor (which may explain issue #2 above): during daytime the air is very humid and stuffy because it faces the sun, then at night the air is very dry indoors, which makes it hard to relax and sleep.
7) Stingy on toilet paper and paper towels. There are only 2 rolls on site. Unforeseen in other cottage stays. Rental document mentions bringing your own. Just wanna remind others to really remember to bring your own here.
The outdoor set up was nice, view was great and canoe was fun though.

Our stay was fantastic and there was an array of bedroom configurations - which is perfect for several families staying together. They had the most adorable loft which was perfect for kids! The lake was beautiful and quiet, and the hosts are super great people! Would highly recommend!!

We started with an unexpected surprise when we checked in - Google map led us to another location using the same address. That other house was a complete opposite in terms of appearance and quality and that scared us to death. Thankfully, Lisa picked up her phone immediately when we called her and directed us to the correct location. The property is gorgeous and looks exactly the same it is in the photos. The scenery of the lake is breathtaking.
We had a blast at the property. It was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. There are 3 full bathrooms and 3TVs in the property, which is perfect for our group of 3 families. The kids love the loft. They enjoyed movies and played video games together there. It's like the kids' own private space. We spent a lot of time playing table tennis during which we shared lots of laughs and funny moments. We also played Connect 4, Scrabble, Meme and Card Against Humanity which were available in the property.
The only downside is that the road led to the property has some steep slopes. So, winter renters have to make sure that their cars have winter tires.
After all, the location, the layout and scenery of Lisa's property are all perfect. It's everyone's dream vacation house! We will definitely re-revisit this property if we have the luck to be able to book it again!

Beautiful location. Great sleeping for families, not so great for 11 adults. Very nice property. Lots of stairs to get down to the lake. Lots of chairs by the dock and great fire pit area. Enjoyed that area and had a great time.

This place is amazing. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to get away from the busy life to enjoy some real R&R. Owners are very easy to talk to and respond very quickly if something comes up. Hoping to book this place every summer now.

The property is great. The house was nice and the location was perfect and secluded. On the down side one bed cover had a huge urine stain. One Bed was fully broken. The internet was weak at best and when it rained their wasn't any covered outdoor locations to occupy. In the end, despite these issues it was still a beautiful place with a great view

My family and I had a great time at the cottage. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and the bathrooms were all updated. The basement is nicely updated, very cozy and we loved playing ping pong. We enjoyed the open concept kitchen and living room but the best feature of this cottage is the exterior. The landscaping is gorgeous, we loved the firepit and spending the days soaking up the sun on the dock. The pictures really don't do it justice. The only suggestion I would have is a larger kitchen table with more chairs in case you have a larger party. We were fine since there was only 5 of us but the kitchen table and chairs only accommodated 6 people. Overall we had a wonderful time and would love to revisit in the summer. Thank you Lisa. One more thing to note is that the lights to illuminate the exterior yard is under the deck near the air conditioner.

We spent a 4 days at this place and we can now say that it was a short stay but it was great! We relaxed, enjoyed the house and lake, played a lot outside and inside and had so much fun! Pictures do not do justice of how breathtaking this cottage is! My entire family was in dire need of a vacation and this cottage was a perfect getaway during this pandemic. Communication with the host was seamless and all instructions were clearly provided. The cottage was absolutely beautiful and incredibly clean. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary utensils, pots and condiments. There are also board games and toys for little kids provided to keep them busy. The backyard is absolutely breathtaking. There’s a huge fireplace with enough chairs for a large family of 15 to sit comfortably. Make sure to bring your own firewood! The scenic lake is absolutely serene. There’s also a canoe by the dock if you don’t bring your own boat (life jackets for kids and one adult are hung in a closet inside the house). Overall had an amazing vacation not too far away from home, thank you for having us!

The house was clean and just like the photos. We had 4 families with 8 young kids and they had so much fun at the cottage. We did some nature walks around the cottage, looked at the frozen lake, and had a campfire for activities outdoors. Inside, they loved to play in the loft, watch TV upstairs or downstairs, and there were plenty of open spaces making it easy for parents to also monitor them. We didn’t need to leave the cottage to go out and get anything at all for our 4-day stay.
Communication with the owner was great. The kitchen had all the stuff we needed. We loved the style of the cottage and can’t wait to visit it again in the fall time so we can enjoy the backyard more!

The cottage was spacious and clean.
Master bedroom is big with the bathroom adjacent to the room is a plus. The two other room on the main level is a bit small for two people in one room especially after all your belongings is in the room it gets a little crowded but its not a big deal. The bunkbeds in the basement worked for us because the boys get to sleep in that one room. The other room in the basement with one day bed and a queen size bed which was a great place for one of our teenage girl and for one single adult woman.
Aside from the master bedroom’s bathroom there’s a common bathroom in the common area for everyone to use. Both basement and main floor bathroom has shower which is really awesome especially for a big group.
The kitchen is fully equipped but if you are planning to cook something with a big pot, i suggests you bring your own big pot. They have one or two big pot but its not the big or deep enough for the type of food that we cooked.
The table tennis at the basement is a plus, especially for the kids, its keeps them away from Electronics. The loft with two bed was awesome, one of the more older teenager boy get to use that space, it gave him a quiet space to finished his school work while staying at the cottage during night.
Don’t forget to bring your towels, toiletries, bed covers, pillow covers and comforters. But for us, we used the sleeping bags for our comforters, it worked well as the house was warm and cozy enough. There’s a fireplace but we didn’t get a chance to use it, we weren’t sure where to buy the fire woods and there weren’t any firewoods left for us to use.
The backyard was filled with snow but we made a path to do tobogganing with the kids and we spent the whole afternoon at the backyard hanging out the lake and doing Tobogganing down the hill. The Arrowhead Provincial Park was 30mins. to do other outdoor activities with the kids. The closest grocery store and gas station is 5 to 10 mins drive away.
Almost all cleaning materials was provided, I think the only thing that was not there was the paper towel in the kitchen, we ended up buying that. There’s a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer if you need it.
Note: There’s a steep hill going to the cottage if you are renting this cottage during winter time, please make sure you‘re using winter tires. This place is AMAZING!
