About this house rental
Remodeled from head to toe March 2021. New kitchen, HVAC, roof, windows, floors, paint, master bath, and more. . Enjoy time on the lake at this spacious home located at the end of a cove on High Rock Lake. Located on a level lot with 220 feet of lake frontage on 1.25 acres, a private dock and over an acre of property, this vacation spot will be a great place to create and share memories with your friends and family.
Bring your watercraft, rent one locally, or just enjoy the scenic views and wooded property. There is plenty of space for your whole family. Fish from the floating pier/dock, or swim in the lake. The Dock will hold 2 boats and there is a separate Jet Ski/Wave Runner Dock as well. Enjoy easy access to the lake with your own boat. There are no bridges to worry about when accessing the main lake from our cove which is centrally located on the lake. Since we are at the end of a cove on the lake, there is little to no boat traffic near our property, making for a quiet and serene experience when spending time lakeside.
The layout of this house will allow even the largest groups to feel spread out. The kids will love spending time in the camouflage themed bunkhouse room. Complete with 2 bunk beds and mattresses decked out in cammo linens with a flat screen TV and DVD player. This room sleeps 4 with plenty of space to lounge around and watch movies, play games, and create memories.
Enjoy a cookout in the backyard or on the screened in patio. Spend time with your family at the lakeside patio. Enjoy the stone fire pit on the patio down by the lake for evening campfires. Eat meals on the picnic table by the dock. Watch the sunset from the backyard over the lake and once the sun goes down, take advantage of the open floor plan this home has to offer. Play games with the family or just spend time with relaxing with your family or friends.
There are 4 bedrooms as well as a separate sitting room off the master bedroom suite with a full pull out sofa (replaced in 2022) in addition to the spacious living room, dining room, and kitchen. This home can comfortably sleep 10-12 people.

The home was beautiful and clean. The grounds were fabulous: dock, fire pit, grill, and screened in porch. We had some minor issues (TV streaming did not work after tropical storm and a few ants in the kitchen), but the owners helped us figure things out including bringing a Fire Stick to the house and pointing out the ant spray which worked relatively well. One major issue was that the bathroom door could not be shut completely because it would stick closed and took two people to open it. There were spiders but not more than you’d expect at any lake house! We spent the days on the lake, at Carowinds, napping, fishing, having a fire, and enjoying the birds and fish. We enjoyed our stay!

Great property for the guys to stay and fish at High Rock Lake. This is our second time to stay at this house. The one negative we experienced this time was the house had some visitors( had some mice). We did not contact the property manager about this.

This property was pretty clean. I'm not sure if it was the lack of rain, but we didn't even attempt to get in the water...it was just plain yucky. This property could benefit from more lighting in the living room and nightstands in all the bedrooms. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms and on the screened in porch would have been awesome. BTW, the guest/hall shower was TINY. I feel confident in saying that was only about 24" wide. It was overall a very comfortable stay with plenty of room. If we decided to go back to High Rock Lake, we would consider staying here again.

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving at High Rock Lake. The house had everything we needed and even though it was a manufactured home, it was spacious and very comfortable. The grounds and lake were spectacular and the screened in back porch would be awesome during the spring and summer! We plan a return visit then.

We were pleased with the location and property. The only concern we encountered was ants in the kitchen sink and also a roach. The other issue was my husband woke up with possible spider bites on his left side. Other than those encounters everything was wondeful.
We also noticed that there were some vents missing on the front of house, if you are not aware.

Six of us stayed overnight. Including our grandchild for my wife's birthday weekend. Several friends showed up during the day for a barbecue and cake and a campfire by the fishing dock. It was an excellent stay in an excellent home in an excellent area. We were able to dock a boat and get out on the lake also. We absolutely will stay here again.

I don’t even know where to start. This was an amazing stay. The house was very clean. The view was stunning. My dad did not want to come in from the screened in patio or dock. The owner is extremely polite and professional. No complaints at all.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here with our kids and grandkids. The house had everything we needed and the location was excellent. On a nice, quiet cove perfect for swimming and relaxing.

Candace was great to communicate with, timely and very sweet. We had no problem getting into our rental. Everything looked and smelled clean inside,
Beds we’re okay, but I know beds vary from person to person, so this was just our personal review, they seemed a bit hard.
The hallway bathroom toilet was very tippy and we did notify Candace the property manager she thanked us.
Shower pressure was amazing!
The screened in porch looked very relaxing but we didn’t have time to enjoy it because we were busy with a friends wedding.
everything was communicated wonderfully with us, we would definitely come back again.

Property was nice and spacious, enough beds for my adult sons and 2 grandsons. Great time fishing and spending time together. We had rain for 2 days, so we were inside a lot but had plenty of room. The neighbors that we came in contact with were polite and respectable. The floating part of the dock needs some repair but overall, everything was great. Looking forward to doing another weekend with my boys next year and if this place is available, we will be back.

Had a great time! Lots of space, dock was nice had plenty of cleats to tie up,screened in porch was nice at night. Some of the yard on the drive way could be leveled up so that there is not a drop off. Trailer slipped off the driveway when pulling in the driveway. Overall had a great time

A few friends and I take a fishing trip every year and this year we went to High Rock Lake. The house is much bigger inside than it looks and was nicely appointed. We screwed up and locked ourselves out one day, but the host was very gracious and found a way to get us back in. The driveway was nice, but careful of the drop offs. Couple of guys in the group did some minor damage to their vehicles/trailers due to the steep concrete drop offs. Honestly, it would've been better just to leave the driveway gravel, rather than having the steep concrete drop offs, but it is what it is.
