Lemon Bay Cottage is a very cozy and private cottage in Historic Olde Englewood Village. It is located across the street from Lemon Bay. One block from art galleries, shops, quaint restaurants, live music, & farmers market. 2 miles from the Gulf Beaches.

Olde Englewood is a small town provides a sense of belonging for folks. It is walking distance to Dearborn Street which is the center of community events/activities. There is never a dull moment on Dearborn Street. These activities include Pioneer Plaza for live music, farmer's market, coffee shops, restaurants, car shows, art shows, Lemon Bay Playhouse, and plenty of shopping. The Cottage is next door to the Sculpture Park & Cherokee Park is just across the street on Lemon Bay. It has two piers for fishing, sunsets, and a kayak launch. Indian Mound Park is three blocks from the Cottage and has piers and a boat launch. The public beaches are 2.5 miles away. We provide amenities such as Kayaks, Bikes, Beach Chairs, Cooler, & Gas Grill.

Cottage was cute. It is on the small side but served our purpose. I liked the fact that the owner provided you with kayaks, bikes, beach chairs and beach umbrella to use. The cottage was within walking distance to restaurants, shops and bar and grills with music.

This cottage looked outstanding on the website and it was just as delightful in person. The place was immaculate and well equipped. The location near Lemon Bay and the downtown was ideal. Dan checked in on us several times. Overall a great place to stay!

We rented the cottage for the first week of March 2024 to give my 78 year old Dad a break from the New Hampshire winter. He loved it. The size was great, it was clean and quiet and peaceful, and it was walkable to the Bay and Dearborn. Danny (aka "Danny The Host") made my Dad's stay super comfortable and even introduced him to the morning crew at Joe Maxx, which was one of the highlights of my Dad's trip. Thank you for making the cottage available for rental and making this trip so memorable for my Dad. We really appreciate it and we look forward to another stay sometime soon...Thanks!!!

Our host Danny was the best. If you needed anything he was there in less than 5 minutes. He helped us take the kayaks to the launch across the street.
This cute little house is walking distance to all the great Englewood shops, bars and restaurants!
Plus there is a park on the intercoastal right across the street.

Our stay at Lemon Bay Cottage was fantastic! The house had everything we needed. The outdoor patio open and screened was great. The location could not have been better. The town of Englewood has entertainment every day and night. We could walk to shops and restaurants. We were 5 to 20 minutes from 4 beautiful beaches. Our hosts were super friendly as everyone in the town was also. We loved this place! Thank you!

Always helpful and pleasant. Cottage is very clean and well supplied with everything you need for a lengthy stay. Plenty to see and do within walking distance. We've stayed a few times now and we will be back.

Danny and his Mom have a clean cozy place . Close to downtown (walkable) . If any issues come up they are right next door (but give you your privacy) and are very attentive to any issues .

As usual, the facilities certainly provided a very nice relaxing 'home base' for my winter reprieve from the snow and cold in Maine. This hss been my 3rd stay here and the location was perfect fir walking and relaxing with minimal traffic or noise.

Was in a great location to little shops and such. Anything you would need is mostly 10-15 mins yet nice quiet neighborhood. Hosts very Nice and responsive. Would very much stay again.

Hidden Gem
We scheduled a week at Lemon Bay Cottage to be close to Braves Spring Training Venue. The area is quite charming.
Within walking and short driving distance to many restaurants and bars. Owner went out of the way to make sure we had everything we need. Even left a cooler and beach chairs for us to enjoy. We will definitely consider this place next time we visit.

Very nice cottage and super clean.
The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Bed & recliners were so comfortable.
Shower had tons of pressure, so nice. Outside faces south, made for plenty of sunshine to sit in.
In walking distance are two parks, fishing pier, stores, bars, and restraunts.

The property was very nice and private, great yard and lounging area. The only drawback was when arriving at night I had a difficult time finding the house. Signage could use some lighting as well as side yard and laundry area time changed dark earlier. Great hosts!

Ideal pristine cottage
My sister n I spent the night in this perfect cottage for my birthday. The cottage more than exceeded our expectations in every area. Clean, modern, comfortable, excellent location. The hosts were so helpful with info n even provided me a bike to ride around! Everything was exceptionally clean n new. Dearborn St was 1 block away with great shopping n dining. Had a fabulous meal at Englewood on Dearborn with great live music! The beach was also great, only 2 miles away. I highly recommend this property!!

I’ve stayed with Gloria twice now and don’t think I’ll ever stay elsewhere if the property isn’t booked! Being born and raised in Englewood, Glorias place is conveniently located and just perfect for a little family. Clean and cozy!!

Be careful! Ripped off!
I booked this place for a little family getaway and when I entered my credit card information I was told that my dates (June7-9) were no longer available so I assumed I wouldn't be charged and booked at another place.
While on vacation at another place for the same dates (June 7 -9) I saw on my bank statement that I was charged for this place. So I called the number that was listed. Gloria (property owner) answered the phone and when I told her what had happened she began to tell me that those days were available and that I needed to call homeaway that they would handle it for me.
So I called and they told me that they would have to call the property owner (Gloria) and see if she would refund me my money.
To my surprise she wouldn't give me a refund! I can understand some kind of charge but not even a cancellation fee! She took all of my money! I understand that you have a property that you rent out and that's how you make your money but for someone who didn't even stay at your property and you still charge them as if we stayed there! That's not how you run a business! It's such a shame! I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Nice surprise in Englewood
Owner was very efficient with communication. Didn't get to meet her but the cottage was very quaint & charming. Very comfortable and close to beautiful beaches. Water in fridge clean fluffy towels and bedding. Only stayed a night but we'd definitely would stay longer. Lovely screened in porch. Very private though an attached apartment. Thank you so much for accommodating our changing schedule.

Lemon Bay Cottage Englewood Florida
We found the cottage to be comfortable and clean. Loved the short walk to the pier to fish or just watch the sunset over Lemon Bay. Restaurants were within walking distance. Bonus for us was the use of the 2 kayaks. The beaches were not far away. There were tour boats within a few miles to take you out on sightseeing and dolphin boat tours.

It had a very musty smell & mold in the shower.
Overall it’s a cute place & in a great location.
To much clutter, cabinets & hall closet needs cleaned out & organized better.
Musty smelling sofa needs cleaned or removed &
clean up needs to be done.
