Well located house near the local shops, pubs and bars. The Bedrooms, Bathroom and Living area were clean. The beds are passable but the single beds are a bit creaky. The utility room has a washing machine and freezer which is useful. The living room is homely and the sofa and chair was comfortable. The TV only shows a few channels but this isn't really an issue when in such a scenic place and a great choice of pubs to spend the evening. The only small minus was that some items in the Kitchen weren't clean. The sitting room table which is small would be a push at fitting four people as well as having only a three seater sofa and chair. For three people it was fine. These however aren't major issues that would spoil a holiday. Check-in is not until 5pm and check 9am, the reason being to allow extra time for cleaning. In all, a decent place to stay and was good base for Keswick and the Lakes. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Latrigg View is a cozy cottage situated in a very central but quiet location for all amenities in Keswick. 5 minute walk to pubs/restaurants etc and some walks but within a short driving distance of many others. The parking permit in a nearby location is a bonus as parking in Helvellyn Street can be difficult. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you can think of and is a home from home. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Latrigg View. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Lovely upside down house right in the centre near to everything. Clean and warm. In need of modernisation in places but that would not put me off booking again. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Very clean, modern cottage.
Very clean, modern cottage.
Very clean, modern cottage. Upside down feature worked well as heat rose and lounge warm and bedrooms cooler. Brighter upstairs too. Kitchen could have done with a dishwasher , which with having a utility meant plenty of space. Double bedroom a little tight, but fine. Could do with a footstool or bean bag to put feet up in lounge as only 3 seater settee and single chair which meant you’re on top of each other. Couldnt open any windows except toilet, kitchen and bathroom - would’ve liked to open bedroom on vent. Lovely cottage besides this, will book again if just four people. The cottage was a lovely property with excellent attention to detail.
The cottage was a lovely property with excellent attention to detail.
The cottage was a lovely property with excellent attention to detail. The surface cleaning was very good. Good range of kitchen equipment enable you to cook and bake, should you be so inclined. Really loved the bath. It was very welcome after a long walk. The property has a parking pass for a local private car park just a little way away. This was very welcome as the roads are very narrow and whilst parking is available outside the property great demand means finding any space is difficult. On arriving at the property we did find that the laundry bags containing last weeks washing was at the bottom of the stairs, in light of Covid this was unacceptable. The freezer had an open packet of chicken left in. The dressing table chair is unsafe as it has been broken in the past. All issues have been reported. Cottage was lovely, comfortable, cosy and well equipped and very well situated. Very clean. The shower seems to be a bit temperamental best to stick to the bath I think and beware the squeaky floorboards. On the whole though they are very minor niggles considering everything the cottage has in its favour. Would recommend Alpacas Ever After, the alpaca walk is amazing.
