Superbly located right by the fantastic Caister beach with sand dunes which runs for miles each way. We had lovely walks and cycled along the coast to Hemsby. Private garden which had the sun on it most of the day. We were able to eat outside at times even though it was November. The house was ideal for what we wanted and this was to rest and recharge our batteries Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Have rented similar properties which have had a dishwasher and Wi-Fi . But closeness to beach was excellent. But playground from caravan site very close and sometimes too noisy for baby to sleep. A very comfortable stay , access a little difficult. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

I visited Caister and stayed in Dune Cottage early Nov 2019 with my 2 sons aged 20 and 17 and our family pooch. The cottage was very spacious for 3 of us which was great and could accommodate comfortably a large group/family. The garden is large and enclosed which our small dog loved. We had a comfortable stay and relaxed which was the purpose of our break away. We couldn't believe how close the cottage was to the beach and also how central we were to local pubs and amenities. The cottage needed a deep clean/spring clean in the areas mostly used like kitchen and bathroom and living room but overall it was comfortable. The porch was ideal for keeping all of our wet and sandy gear in with it being November but we felt that for.more privacy we would have liked more access to the other doors which would have led us directly to the back garden to the Hot Tub. Instead we had to walk from the front door through the gates to the garden. Having this access would have also been useful in a fire and this is something I maybe should have queried at the time. I have to say there was great communication with the hosts and they are not intrusive but helpful. I believe that had I have had any issues they would have wanted to sort them promptly. Due to the time.of year there was very little going on where we could take the dog other than to beaches and local pubs. The locals were friendly. We found The Centurion Pub which did amazing meals and had BT/Sky sports. The other places we visited were; Lighthouse Station, Horsey Beach, Horsey Gap (Seals), Winterton on Sea and the Dunes and Caister Castle which was shut. I'm glad we didn't walk to it as planned. I think there was lots of lively walks that we didnt explore enough (Sons!) And in the summer I am certain the beaches are glorious. We were restricted with what we could do in Early November so the Hot Tub was amazing no matter what the weather. This was a lovely addition to our break. It is large and the owners work hard to keep it clean and hygienic. It was a pleasure!! The cottage is on the edge of a static caravan holiday park which has the on site clubhouse and local pub. We felt we got to know the area quite well in the short time spent there and would feel comfortable returning. It is definitely a place on our list to return but maybe at a different time of year.

Fantastic place to stay clean, tidy, warm, so close to the beach. Heating was good and the house stayed warm too. I took games with us BUT we didn't need to as lots of games there and some books too. Parking was a bit tricky for us as we had a 9 seater so was on the large size so rather tricky to get in. But we coped. Fab place highly recommend grandchildren had a fab time. Would definitely return

lovely cottage right near the beach and access to the holiday park next door.
lovely cottage right near the beach and access to the holiday park next door.
lovely cottage right near the beach and access to the holiday park next door. cottage was very clean and well appointed . the owners are lovely , happy to help in any way and keen to make sure you enjoy your stay. they have clearly taken on board the comments / suggestions left in the comments book which is good to know . we went in oct so weather not great but i can imagine in the summer the place will be amazing one suggestion though and not a critisism at all, coud do with an electric shower , the mixer shower struggled to cope with six ladies and was awkward to use , all together though a lovely place to stay and we are going to make it our annual get together as we all agreed the cottage is perfect for ur needs
