They offer spacious, light and airy holiday accommodation that is still warm, cosy and comfortable with wooden floors and a wood-burning stove. There are numerous established footpaths and bridle paths which criss-cross the area and take guests through some of the most picturesque countryside and landscapes. The nearby village of Aynho is famous for the apricot trees grown on the stone walls of the old houses. The historic market town of Banbury is close by, whilst Deddington (with a monthly farmers’ market), Chipping Norton, Moreton-in-Marsh and Shipston-on-Stour give a more traditional view of the Cotswolds and the chance to stroll along the quaint high streets, stopping at one of the many tea shops and country inns for which the area is famous. Less than 30 minutes away lies Blenheim Palace, in the town of Woodstock, birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill and home of the Blenheim Horse Trials. In the opposite direction, why not sample Sulgrave Manor (ancestral home of the family of George Washington) or Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit, situated next to a forest - or divert to shop at designer boutiques in the highly acclaimed Bicester Village Outlet Centre. A little farther afield, but still within easy driving distance, lie the university city of Oxford, the ancient town of Warwick, Leamington Spa and the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon. Commonly referred to as Shakespeare’s Stratford, this is the perfect opportunity to visit many historic attractions including the Birthplace, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and the world famous Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Aynho is an hour’s journey north to Birmingham (with the National Exhibition Centre) or south to London itself. There are excellent fast trains from Banbury or Bicester, or drive via the M40. The host was very helpful before we arrived sending through directions and everything we needed to check into the property. Lovely place, great views and the hot tub was very welcome after the Blenheim Triathalon. Would highly recommend everything about this property.

Lovely property.
Lovely property.
Lovely property. The cleanliness was exceptionally high which is important during these current times. The beds were comfy as were the sofas/lounge furniture. This is a lovely modern property which has everything you want for a relaxing break. Some reviews mention road noise, the road is in the distance and cannot be heard inside the property. The hot tub is positioned so you can enjoy the lovely views of the countryside. We would definitely return and recommend to family and friends. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Would be a 10 for everything if not for the road noise (which you can't do much about and didn't really bother us). Really clean which is especially important these days! Facilities were great, hot tub was always really hot and cottage looks amazing. Super comfy beds and was a bonus to have TVs in the rooms for those of us who like a lazy lie in! Loads of swifts and house martins which we really enjoyed watching. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We loved our stay at The Stalls! Lovely rural location with great walks from the door. The accommodation was great and the kitchen / dining space was large and ideal for our needs. Helen, the caretaker, was welcoming and very accommodating to our needs. The whole place was clean and COVID safe. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We’ve had the most amazing week here, escaping the current covid situation. We wanted somewhere rural and away from everyone else and this fitted the bill perfectly. Helen and the family were caring and welcoming. We had local walks and had delicious lunches at The Fox in Souldern. Highly recommend The Stalls and The Hayloft, as we rented both for a family celebration week. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We were a group of 8 girls who stayed here for 2 nights. The house had plenty of space for everyone, with 4 bedrooms each sleeping 2 people and 3 bathrooms. The kitchen/dining space was large and the living room a perfect cosy size with space for us all. The added bonus was a private hot tub over looking the fields. The location is quite remote but that is why we picked it. The closest shop is a 10 min drive but we got a food delivery instead. Bicester is 20 mins away and we went there on the Friday before check in. We also went on a lovely walk through the fields, over a little stream to a local village called Souldern where we had a lovely pub lunch. For relaxing, peace and quiet with your own space, you really couldn't ask for more. We are already considering booking again for next year!

Lovely house and had everything we needed.
Lovely house and had everything we needed. Hot tub looking out at the country-side was a bonus. Dishwasher was out of action for the weekend which was disappointing so wouldn't have been too happy if we were staying longer. Otherwise a lovely stay.
