Enjoy a relaxing vacation at this waterfront home with beautiful panoramic lake views and a partially covered swim dock on deep water. Truly, this home boasts some of the best views on Possum Kingdom and has expansive, open water in front of it. This cute and cozy home has 2 bedrooms and 1 Jack-and-Jill bathroom with shower. Full kitchen opens onto large living/dining room with wood-burning fireplace. The best location on the property is definitely the 1100 sqft deck. It is perfect for relaxing in the shade or sun, grilling dinner out, and dining under the stars all while enjoying the lake view. House is located on Possum Kingdom's peninsula. Boat ramps, restaurants and grocery store are all 5-10 minutes away. Located in the heart of Possum Kingdom's award-winning hike and bike trail system (see map under photos) with scenic lookouts over Possum Kingdom lake and the Palo Pinto Mountains. Trails are a short hike, walk, or bike-ride away. Sleeping Arrangements: 1 bedroom has a queen sized bed 1 bedroom has a full sized bed Living area has a queen sleeper sofa

The view from the balcony was amazing. The fireplace warmed it up quickly. We loved the wooded area on the way down to the dock. The stairs are fine and very safe contrary to what another reviewer stated. However you may get a little winded if you are out of shape. The dock was huge and had kayaks, fishing pole holders, and chairs. We caught 8 fish in one day. 6 bass, 1 catfish, and 1 Crappie. The cabin itself is quaint compared to the million dollar homes next door but if you are looking for a standard lake house with excellent views and good fishing this is your place.

The view of the lake itself was amazing but the fact that the location came with a grill, fireplace, boathouse, etc and was tucked away privately into the hill is what really made it worth the stay.

Lakefront, floor to ceiling sliding doors and windows with excellent full view of lake! Steps down to boat slip where we fished off the floating dock, pole holders, outside chairs for use also. We caught caught fish there, and striper bass with fishing guide with boat. Great location and well stocked kitchen. Owner responds quickly to questions.

We loved the house! Perfect size for the 4 of us and the deck and view were amazing! Great dock to tie the boat to when not out on the lake. We will stay here again!

Place is outdated, has an old smell to it, the full size bed is to small and is worn out, dock is falling apart leaning to one side and some of the boards on the deck are sketchy upon walking on it.

Clean, cute, cozy, and quaint! If my parents had had a lake house when I was a kid, this would be it! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The deck was dreamy with a beautiful view of the lake, facing northward, so just right. We drank our coffee out here in the mornings and ate dinner on the deck each evening. The weather was perfect. We were able to secure our boat to the dock for our entire stay, which made going out very easy and convenient. We parked our trailer at nearby North D&D with no issues. The road to the house is one lane, so it can be tricky, but we managed ok. Overall, a great stay!

Amazing views are the most incredible part of this quaint getaway overlooking PK. The cabin itself is cozy and inviting. We relaxed, took in the panoramic views, and explored the surrounding area. The cabin is a bit chilly this time of the year but heats up very nicely with the fireplace and electric heaters. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and courteous!

We really appreciate Heather allowing us to stay at this property. The incredible views make it worth it even when it is 17 degrees outside with wind gusts up to 40 mph. We do wish we had known the only heat in the house was floor heaters and the wood burning fireplace. But it was more than sufficient even in 17 degree weather so all was good. Caught a variety of fish off the dock like channel cats, drum, and blue gill. Can't wait to come back in the spring or fall when bass and crappie are biting better.

We loved everything about this place! Easy to find, nice and clean, great dock. Porch is amazing for hanging out and cooking. View is perfect. Huge dock for swimming and fishing. House was very clean. Parking is very limited and tight.

The view was stunning of PK. The sunset are something to see. Nice place, but the beds are a little uncomfortable. Need to get a bug exterminator. Lots of bugs outside the house but saw a few spiders inside the house as well. Over all a nice place to stay at the lake.

We rented this house for my mother and mother in law. We stayed in a house down the road with my brother, bother in law and our kids. So my mom and mother in law wanted to stay close but in their own house. Road to the house it terrible.. Don't plan on trying to pull your boat trailer up to house
A very dangerous walkway down to the dock. It's like walking in a fun house at a carnival trying to up and down to the dock. Leaning walkway bad railing and places with no railing. 2 window units for the AC. So one room doesn't have a AC.

This house is amazing! Heather has thought of everything! So clean, lots of towels, plenty of kitchen ware, great outdoor furniture, easy and thorough check in instructions... AND easy check out. I appreciate the basic check out ... turn off the lights, take out trash and lock doors.... that’s a great VRBO!
We will return and would 100% recommend this Great Lake house !
