About this house rental

Come vacation in wonderful Lands End! This family friendly community within Sea Pines is privately gated and perfect for both adults and children. We are located on probably the best beach on Hilton Head for viewing dolphins and we even supply free of charge two kayaks to go out and see the dolphins first hand!
Our house has ocean views from almost every room and is one of the largest Lands Ends available with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, a loft/family room, and an extremely large screened porch facing the beach. We also have an outdoor deck with a charcoal grill.
Our house is pet friendly(ask for details) and no smoking.
We have recently completed extensive remodeling of our home with a new kitchen, new hardwood floors and furniture.
We are a 10 minute walk from the South Beach Marina with shops, restaurants, a children's playground and free tennis at the South Beach Racquet Club.

While it was a nice house and great location we felt it needed some updating in the kitchen and master bath. We enjoyed our time and would recommend the unit.

The location and property was more than I expected. When looking for a place in Hilton Head, I wanted someplace close to the beach and enough space for a family of eight. The house on Lands End delivered. The furnishings were comfortable enough and it was less than a 10 minute walk to the beach. We saw an amazing number of dolphins which thrilled my grandkids & me too. Lol. A very quiet neighborhood. Alice Hume was great to communicate with answering all my questions. Check in was easy as was checking out. We had a great time and hope to return again.

Lovely home and location in Lands End with more than enough room for our extended family to enjoy! Lands End is our favorite place to rent at the end of Sea Pines. Direct access to the beach and pool and a short walk to the Salty Dog and South Beach Marina, tennis and pickle ball courts. The kids loved watching for dolphins and we all loved watching the sunsets. The owner was easy to communicate with.

Although our stay was short, we love the home and its location. Our host was very easy to work with and always was responsive to any inquiry we had. Would highly recommend this home for a great vacation.

We loved our family vacation and found the home comfortable for all the ages of our family. The owner was prompt with responses and kept us posted on check in procedures in a timely manner. The home is a little dated from a flooring standpoint (creaky upstairs loft/bedroom and master bedroom with unusual slope under the low profile carpet), but the wood flooring was in great shape in the common areas of the house. The home was very clean and had comfortable furnishings. The location was amazing in a very quiet area in the southern-most aspect of the island. We saw dolphins every day, and having access to kayaks was the envy of other beach goers. The screened in porch was a delightful aspect of this home, perfect for morning coffee and evening sunsets. I highly recommend this property for a family getaway!

We rented this property for a family fall break vacation and fell in love with the location. The property is beautiful and we were just a few steps from the beach. I’ve never seen as many dolphins while vacationing. We watched them multiple times a day. This is definitely on our list to do again!

Property was very clean. It has an excellent view of the water. There's lots of room for everyone to do their own thing. Kitchen is nicely equipped. Neighborhood is very quiet. Located close to Salty Dog cafe for food and entertainment. Great place.

Land's End NEVER disappoints. The dolphins were more abundant than ever! Even though the weather was chilly, it was an escape from the world. Alice was very easy to work with and prompt to communicate.

This property is amazing for a family. It's very close to the beach. Stunning sunsets. Quite community. Several amazing restaurants on the property for dinner. I've been coming to Hilton Head Island for years, and this has to be one of the best locations I've been to. It is a very peaceful and quiet part of the island, the beach is uncrowded, and you will see dolphins everywhere. The fact that we were able to bring our dog with us was an added bonus. We made lots of great memories biking every single day--both on the bike paths and on the beach--collecting seashells, spotting countless dolphins, and walking to the marina area to get Salty Dog ice cream at night. The host, Alice, is very responsive. We hope to possibly stay again in the future.

This is one of our favorite Lands End properties! We found it very clean and nicely decorated. It reminded us of a lovely Cape Cod cottage. The view to Calibogue Sound is clear and unimpeded. The dolphins are such fun to watch. The owner was wonderful to work with and even checked on us as Hurricane Ian approached. We are looking forward to returning one day.

Loved the location of the home and how close it is to the ocean and Salty Dog. We have been staying on the island since 2014. The home is definitely in need of some maintenance and/ or updating. Broken blinds, broken screens on porch, kitchen wear has been extremely scratched and old water stains on ceiling. Overall good stay, just not elegant.

This is a great place for a family vacation. There's plenty of room, the layout is great, and location at the end of the island is perfect. It's quiet and yet overlooks a waterway that always has something going on. Very nice.

We had a wonderful week in this home! The location is absolutely perfect! We loved being so close to both the beach and pool and spent all of our time there. Our kids enjoyed fishing, finding sea creatures, watching all the dolphins (so many dolphins!) and using the kayaks. The home was well equipped with everything we needed and was comfortable for our large family. We cooked many meals here and loved spending time on the screened back porch. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

This property was perfect for our family vacation. The house was great and access to the beach using the boardwalk made it very convenient with 5 grandchildren ages 4 and under. The beach area was also perfect for the little ones since it didn’t have big waves and they could play in the water with their water wings.

The owners of the property are extremely kind and quick with responses. This property was perfect for the family! They had every ammenity needed to suit everyone in the family. The neighborhood was quiet and more secluded. While we brought everything we needed for our baby, we saw that there was a highchair and pack n play. Such a sweet extra to have when traveling. The house was spacious and welcoming. We felt so fortunate to book this house during spring break. Our favorite part of the stay was the access to the beach. So much to experience while visiting. We saw dolphins every day of our stay, they swam right up to our kayaks! The kids were able to discover starfish and see jellyfish wash up on shore after high tide. I would definitely recommend this home to any family looking for comfort and easy family fun. So many memories were made!

Perfect vacation

Perfect vacation

We sat on the screened in porch with our coffee watching the sun rise and drinks in the late afternoon watching it set. It was a perfect location for walking or riding bikes on the beach. We saw dolphins daily. The house was great for cooking and having meals together. The host was extremely responsive to all our questions and needs. The house has everything you need for a perfect beach vacation.
