Little Jungle near the real secret beach in Sri Lanka

The family is very nice and cooked for us so many times! the breakfast was so rich and the room with balcony was very clean and had everything that we needed! We also rented a scooter from this place and explored the beaches but the best one was just 4 mins walk from the house!! You can be alone on this beach, swim and don’t be bothered by anyone else, this was the real secret/silent/lonely beach on the south coast! I liked the vibe here it was so quiet and peaceful with a little bit of jungle feeling near the beach! Definitely recommend if you want a getaway somewhere where you can be alone but also fell like you don’t need to stress yourself where to eat next or where to buy some drinks cause the family is there for you!

The nicest room and best food in the South!

Absolutely everything. The property is really beautiful and so peaceful. We really enjoyed watching and listening to the many different species of birds, relaxing on the balcony and exploring the nearby beach. The rooms are clean and decorated beautifully, the hot water works and the beds are comfy. We also saw very few mosquitos despite being surrounded by nature. Prasad and his family are lovely. They really went out of their way to help us and make sure we had the most amazing time in Tangalle. The beach less than 5 minutes walk away is deserted and beautiful. There are also more beaches nearby, each with their own unique character. If you want to learn surfing, these beaches are perfect! They also did some laundry for us, gave us a lift to the beach early in the morning, and let us try so many different kinds of fruit and local dishes, cooked by our favourite chef in Sri Lanka, Anoma! They also took time out of their busy day to arrange for our travel onwards to Udawalawe by tuktuk, and let us use an empty room whilst we waited for it to arrive.

Family run guesthouse near beautiful deserted tropical beach Possible to swim

Home cooked food fantastic. This is a family run guest house,a little bit off the beaten track but near the Tangalle Road,so easy move around In addition there is a beautiful deserved tropical beach at the end of the lane. It's a gem..

I liked EVERYTHING.

Our favourite accommodation in SL!

Abraham and his family made our stay very unique, it was the best one of our journey! We came back 2 times during our trip. Rooms are very clean, all the food - both breakfast and dinner - was very good, the nearby beach is very isolated and beautiful (most of the time we were alone or only with the fishermen), the area is very peaceful and all of the family members are very very kind and helpful. It will be very hard to find another place like this in the area, i guess impossible. There are different stores nearby and for the market you can go to tangalle, which is close and convenient by bus or tuktuk. First choice for us if we come back to SL :-)

Hidden gem! A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.

I cannot thank enough this sweetest family for taking an amazing care of us. Honestly I do not want to tell about this place, because it is a secred gem! The host family did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Coming from Mirissa to this place 6 km from Tangalle felt like we traveled in time to Srilanka 5 years ago. No people, kindest locals, clean beaches...just the nature and us. BEACHES: There are more than 3 beaches you can walk to in less than 150 m from this place. We saw only locals there. It is also possible to find fresh coconuts on the beaches (if you go in the morning and a local does not find it first ehehe), after you manage to open the coconut, you can enjoy the pure DELICIOUSNESS. FOOD: The breakfast is huge: we had a chance to try both Sri Lankan and European options. Fruits and fresh juices make it very special! it was also on time and with the biggest smile from the family. We also tried the best curry here..I honestly advise to eat there and not go outside, as both prices and food itself is really good! ROOM: the room was very clean and comfy, more than enough + a balcony There was no airconditioner (as we chose this kind of room) but we had a big fan which was great. The bed was comfortable, there was also a mosquito net and it was possible to do the loundry for additional small fee. 10/10

we did not know that but in Sri Lanka it is used to add some salt to fresh juices, if you ask to have jusice without the salt - it is the best. it would be really cool if we could rent some kayaks there. I bet, everybody who comes, will agree rent some kayaks.

Superb

We had a great time , very close two very nice beaches and we ate the best Rice and Curry for Dinner. Abraham and bis Family are great hosts!

Exceptional

The beach is really a lonely beautiful beach. Nice hosts with great food. You should order a Sri Lankan Curry in the Resorts Restaurant. Clean and comfortable apartment. It's a little bit outside of Tangalle and you have to order a Tuktuk to find a restaurant.

It's not in the centre of Tangalle but it's next to the best beach!
