I stayed here while moving to the area and house hunting. Absolutely beautiful property and the hosts were outstanding. Thanks so much!

Historic Guest House is a fun over-the-garage apartment in a great neighborhood. It's a little shabby, and a little chilly in the winter. Because this is an older property, the windows don't open. The coldest & hottest months may not be the best time to rent this apartment. The kitchen is adequate for simple meals; a good fit if you would rather sample all of the wonderful cafes and restaurants in the area. The mattress is extra firm and the bedding is super soft and comfy. Although the hosts responded promptly to our text messages, they did not ask if we needed anything or if we were comfortable. A bit more attention to detail would make this property shine.

This is a wonderfully restored old space. It is more charming than the pictures. My stay was perfect in every way. I highly recommend this VRBO.

It was a cute little stay, right above their garage separate from the house. My husband and I really loved this place.

We loved the historic neighborhood and proximity to the restaurants and shops on Magnolia. we love to walk and the proximity to the Trinity River trail system was perfect. Lots to do in Ft. Worth and we like the overall vibe of the city. The property itself had everything we needed and the size was ideal for the two of us. The Rogers were great hosts and we felt at home right away. I highly recommend Ryan Place!

I needed a place to stay for a month-long nursing rotation at JPS Hospital. This apartment is extremely close to the hospital district in Ft. Worth; it was a perfect fit! The pictures are exactly as the apartment is, except they have added a small gas stove/oven that wasn't mentioned when I rented. There is a microwave and fridge. There is not a washer/dryer, but there is a laundromat nearby. The bed is very comfortable and the whole place is decorated in farm-house style. Very cute and comfortable! If "too quiet" bothers you, there's a box fan you can use for white noise; it is very quiet there. I was slightly concerned about privacy when I realized it was a garage apartment behind their house, but don't worry- Chris and his wife are VERY hospitable, but not nosey at all. I rarely saw them, although they are a lovely couple, with a beautiful home and inviting backyard. Chris took the time to show me the place and how to work the gate. They have two sweet dogs who like to greet you in the evenings. Don't worry about the dogs either, they keep them in at night and I rarely, if ever, heard them bark. The neighbors are all quiet as well. I have zero complaints. JPS hospital is about 2 miles from the apartment and THR is close as well. Magnolia St., with its many fun restaurants, is on the way home if you need to stop for a quick dinner. I stopped at Yucatan for taco's to go many nights, and there is a cool bakery on Magnolia to stop at in the mornings if you want to bring treats to work! The home is very clean, quiet and stocked with everything you need. There are many extras in the bathroom if you forget things. There is a Fiesta grocery store a few blocks away, so you really are close to anything you need. There was even a bike at the bottom of the stairs, I presume was for me if I wanted to use? Even if it wasn't, they're so chill, I bet if I asked, they would have let me. Historic Fairmount has some amazing homes (including this one) that are fun to look at if you have time for evening walks. Best of all, it was so relaxing to get "home" within 4 minutes of a long workday. This is a perfect place for a couple or single person who needs to be close to the hospital district. Thank you for your hospitality, Rogers family! You made my last month of nursing school much easier! Shawn Massingill
