Großartig!

Ein wirklich ausführlich schönes Hotel, liebevoll ausgestattet- eine Mischung zwischen modern und antik. Wahnsinnig geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Personal war perfekt, zurückhaltend und trotzdem extrem hilfsbereit und freundlich. Ein unglaubliches Frühstück!!

Hele centrale locatie in de medina van Fes, met meer dan geweldige service van het personeel.

Behalve de fijne locatie midden in de medina van Fes, is vooral de service die we van het personeel kregen buitengewoon prettig. Als voorbeeld Mustafa, die zo professioneel en vriendelijk helpt, bv. door thee te brengen als je even op het (heerlijke) dakterras zit. Heel erg fijn.

Het enige nadeel dat we kunnen bedenken, is dat de kamer met de twee losse bedden niet altijd stil was vanwege het ietwat luide gezin dat naast die kamer woont. In de andere kamers zul je daar overigens geen last van hebben, die zijn sowieso ook mooier dan de kamer met de twee losse bedden.

Absolutely amazing place with the best staff!

We (my husband and his parents) stayed here for a few nights during our stay in Fes last November and we cannot speak highly enough about this place, but mostly about the staff! They are all amazing! Mustafa and Idriss helped us with everything we needed during our stay and arranged some very special and memorable evenings for us on the rooftop terrace (even though they thought it would be too cold, but for us crazy Dutchies nothing is too cold ;) ) They went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Breakfast was lovely as well as the tea we drunk with much appreciation every time we got back to the riad. At first it was a bit difficult to navigate through the medina, but Mustafa and/or Idriss were always there to help us or walk along and they were only a text message away if needed! Rooms and the riad itself looks so beautiful and well decorated with attention to detail. We loved the mosaic the lanterns, woodwork and the doors leading to our room with the most comfortable bed. The rooftop terrace is beautiful as well. You would never think that such an amazing riad is behind this small door in this small street and it is the best surprise we've got! Special thanks for helping us finding the beautiful Moroccan tiles that will bring a forever memory to our Spanish house! It will always remind us to our lovely stay with you! Thank you Idriss and Mustafa, we will have ChaqChaq in our hearts and memories thanks to your amazing service!

Absolutely no bad comment, but if I have to mention something to improve it would be that the shower glass in our room did not reach the floor and therefor a big part of the bathroom gets wet when you turn the rainshower on. We solved this by using the smaller shower and use less water just to be sure, so it was no issue for us.

Exceptional

Absolutely beautiful with amazing atmosphere and decor (down to the every little detail). The service was outstanding. The terrace offers a view of the entire medina. Chaqchaq is like a quiet, lush oasis in the middle of the medina. We will remember our stay there forever and recommend it strongly to anyone looking for a place to stay in Fes.

The staff were SO kind and hospitable. Beautiful riad, perfect location within the Medina. Large, airy and comfortable rooms and delicious food. We will definitely be back when we return to Fez.

Perfect location and what a spectacular riad with the most wonderful staff!

The riad far exceeded our expectations. Beautiful interior and perfect location. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and served in the rooftop terrace .. with the most spectacular view over Fes. We will definitely return.

best rooftop in the Medina

this hotel has the best views from the rooftop terrace! we did not find a better one in Fes! It’s unbelievably nice to enjoy a very great breakfast from there. The location is perfect for exploring all the areas of the Medina, and the rooms are pretty. The hosts are also very helpful.

Great riad at the center of Medina

Centrally located in the old Medina. On arrival staff meet with us at the parking lot outside the Medina and guided us to the riad. Staff here has been really helpful. The rooftop view is also pretty amazing.

Probably the most beautiful hotel I have every stayed at! Felt like a fairytale. Both Andu and Abdu were so sweet and helpful and walked me to my taxis outside of the Medina both night and day. hope I will visit again!

Amazing!

The riad was beautiful, we booked a twin room but we're upgraded to a larger double room which was very spacious and clean. Comfortable beds and hot shower. The rooftop terrace was lovely. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was brilliant. Good central location.

Please avoid!

That place was falling apart! Very dirty and the management was trying to put it together but a big fail. Our room had dirty sheets(that kind of dirty you feel like throwing up), so we were offered to move to another room (supposed to be the suite). Again dirty sheets. Was midnight and we had not much choice. And the cherry on top was the airco which was not working. We had the coldest night of our life with 4 degrees inside the room. Literally ruined our holiday! Ah and things tend to disappear from cleaning staff...

Top Riad in Fes!

Amazing Riad, just renovated and incredibly beautiful. The massive doors of the room are a marvel and the rooms themselves are big, clean, and very comfortable. The view from the terrace is super and the food excellent. Mohammed and his brothers are super nice and speak perfect English. Mohammed spontaneously volunteered to guide us around given that all the other guides were already taken, which was a blessing! Love you man! Amazing staying!
