Great place to rest

René at the reception was incredible, very attentive and sympathetic. The room is quite spacious and well lit, with some furniture, comfortable beds, AC and outlets by the bed. The neighborhood is very pleasant, with some restaurants and cafes, and also very close to the bus station.

The kitchen needs some improving, specially the utensils, you can't really cook anything there.

Great for a short stay as a base for day trips

The girl working on reception was super helpful and friendly. She arranged a taxi for me when a storm started just as I was about to walk to the bus station!

There's nowhere comfortable to sit/hang out and the kitchen could do with more cutlery and dishes.

Good

Palenque is a hot place and air con is such life saver. Only stayed for 1 night so it's ok for the price

Deserves a higher score

Great location. Trees all around, from the terrace in the morning you might see monkeys, squirrels and birds close up. Kitchen seems all right. The dorms have only two beds and the place is not busy so there’s a chance you’ll have the room by yourself. Bathroom was clean. Beds comfortable.

Not great if you want to meet other travellers. No lockers. You have to ask to get a sheet as a blanket instead of the super thick one they give you.

The place is OK and in a nice area but has a strong smell of dump and it felt quite unhealthy to breath. No bin in the small kitchen in the terrace, so I had to walk downstairs to the bin in the reception. Just another little detail that could be improved. Shower was hot and bathroom OK, staff very kind and helpful tho.

Good budget option near bus station

Very good location in La Cañada, walking distance to the bus station. The dorm room has 2 beds so only shared with one other person. All very clean and comfortable, a good value option in Palenque.

I recommend it is nice and cheap

Very friendly staff, very comfortable room, excellent location for anywhere in Palenque and the garden, kitchen and decorations very well

You can improve the detail of the humidity but with the air conditioning it disappears, that they have lockers for the luggage and that they sell essential things for the trip

Unfriendly stuff, no toilet paper and nobody there to ask, kitchen with table but no chairs, could be cleaner, no possibility to charge phones in the upper beds of the dorm, no lockers

So many cocroaches... The accomodation is not really the cleanedst. We wanted to leave our lagguages and we were asked 50 pesos per lagguage...

The price was good and location was great. Good size of the rooms

The room smelled like mold. There was no toilet paper or bathmat. We did not recieve any information at check in. Construction work started right outside the room in the morning. Just overall not great but for this price you can't expect that much

The room was basic but totally fine for a night. Clean enough.

You get what you pay for. No common areas, no kitchen, would be nice to have a fridge (either a small one in the room or shared). Staff were uninterested in the guests.

Wouldn’t stay here again

The location is perfect

No toilet seat in the private room with the private bathroom, and no hand soap provided. The bathroom also had a “air freshener” in the toilet and it made the whole room smell like a bathroom. It was the same price as another really nice Airbnb we stayed in that had everything to offer in Palenque.

Disappointing

Great location on a quiet street, close to good restaurants and the bus station. Bed was comfortable.

There is a huge gap in the mosquito netting in room #2. I saw the species of mosquito which can carry dengue in the bathroom. Absolutely unacceptable, especially when no bed nettingis provided. No ceiling fan in the room, lightbulbs missing.

This turtle is hard to find

It is located in a quiet place.

It was difficult to find this Hostel as there was no signage. The room had no windows and no ventilation, so it smelled bad.

Basic hostel, friendly personel

Quiet airco, cool room The beginnings of a kitchen were there.Has potential to become something nice but still needs a lot of work. Although the kitchen was not mentioned in the ad, so we were happy there was something and we were able to make basic meal.

Just like Palenque....

They let me check in earlier, that was cool.

Just like everything else in Palenque, you have to pay to breathe, to walk, to think. Upon check out, if you want to leave your stuff in the cleaning room (it isn't even a proper storage), you have to pay. If you want to take a shower after check out, you have to pay. The reception provides incorrect information about public buses. Heaps of mosquitos everywhere. Hot as hell. There's no outside window in the dorms.
