Suzanne and Ashly were very helpful during our stay.

We had a nice relaxing weekend. The dock is close to the home which made it nice and convenient. The kitchen was well equipped. We had plenty of room for our family.

We had a great stay at the lake! Perfect location! Cute lake house with great views! Hope to stay again!

Our family has vacationed at this home in previous years and once again had a wonderful stay this year. This home provides ample space, indoor and outdoor, for our family to gather and spend time together. There was some confusion with the provided instructions for household policies (linen collection at end of stay, garbage collection, etc.) but property management was great in responding to any concerns/confusion!

The house is on Lake Anna, right on the water, with gorgeous views from all parts of the house, amazing dock on the water and nice size bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is well-stocked and labeled cabinets/drawers are helpful. The host checked-in before our stay and during our stay. There are at least three restaurants within 10 minutes from the house which is convenient. It’s a nice location on the lake to relax and enjoy and then go on day trips to Richmond, Charlottesville and visit Monticello and Montpellier.

House was very clean and the entire property was perfect for the entire family. The kids loved having the ramp to swim in shallow water and the dock provided great cover for a break from the sun. Awesome time and awesome place!

This was a great house for our family. Everything about our experience was described --perfect! The home has every possible kitchen tools/utensils pot/pan etc. and the linens are great quality, you could ask for. Our family has enjoyed the fabulous location. Suzanne is such a wonderful host and very accommodating. We're planning to come this fall.

What a place! Great location, great house, could not have asked for anything more. A couple of my buddies and I were able to snag this place for a couple day guys getaway. It had everything we thought to need, more than enough space for the 3 of us. All the bedrooms were exactly as advertised, if not better. The living area and kitchen were perfect for what we were looking for but we ended up using the grill the most. Their grill is very nice and there was more propane available that we could have ever used. Our favorite place was down at the tiki bar area by the dock though. Spent most of our time out there talking about solving the worlds problems and watching the boats go by. At night we got a fire going in the fire pit and stay up later than we should have there because the environment is just so nice. No complaints, I read some of the less than best reviews and I must disagree with them. 10/10 would recommend, my friends and I will likely be back if we can!

First time visiting Lake Anna with friends, this house has a wonderful view of the Lake. The house itself is more than comfortable and spacious, and I'm sure a summer visit would be full of fun water entertainment.
Thank you to the owners for allowing our visit!

Kelly's Glenn is a great location on the lake and fishing was awesome! Grandkids spent a day with us and they also enjoyed fishing on the dock. Would definitely book another vacation at Kelly's Glenn. Suzanne answered all of my questions and checked in on us when we arrived.

Great lake-view property but I was unaware the northern part of Lake Anna is deemed unsafe by the Virginia Department of Health because of harmful algae bloom. This property is in the unsafe zone. I was somewhat disappointed I was not notified by the owners or property manager that it’s not safe to swim off the dock.
We took advantage of lake activities including paddle boarding, kayaking, jet skiing, and fishing. We limited our swimming to the southern part of the lake where it is safe. We also took advantage of most property amenities — grill, fire pit (we brought our own fire wood), and W/D.
The house was as advertised. However, the deck is quite old and some of the boards are questionable. There’s also a little mold on the main floor bathroom ceiling.

We have been renting at Lake Anna for years and all agree this house couldn’t be beat for the views! Seems every room had a view of the lake. The house is cozy and has everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is awesome in that every cabinet/drawer was labeled — no hunting for anything. We all agreed the beds were nice and comfy. And the dock! We spent all day, every day at the dock. Half of it was covered so you could get out of the sun if you wanted. The water was deep too, which we like so can comfortably jump and dive. My 6’6” son couldn’t even touch the bottom! Suzanne was a pleasure to deal with as well. We will definitely rent again! Thumbs up!

The house was in a great location with easy access by water to local restaurants and other venues. We loved lounging on the dock and swimming from there. The house had everything we needed - with beautiful views! The owner was courteous and timely in her responses to questions.

Home was absolutely beautiful and a perfect location for our family to spend time together enjoying the lake.

Beautiful location wonderful house
The property is perfectly situated along the lake with access to the water. There's a nice boat dock. The room has multiple levels and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and we really appreciate it all the labeling of the cupboards which assisted us with finding items and returning them to their proper places. The house has a deck around it and an sheltered sitting area under the deck. It is convenient to the park, grocery shopping, and boat rentals. There are a few nice restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

Great relaxing getaway
The property is nice and secluded, at the end of a small gravel driveway and at the corner of the main lake and a small inlet. The property has a nice easterly view that is great in the morning with the sunrise over the lake. The grill is nice and had 3-4 full tanks available, and the two docks was nice to have. No problems keeping our boat there. The best fishing we did all weekend turned out to be right off the dock and shoreline, with rockfish, bass, and catfish all located just off-shore. No complaints with the stay, it was great for the three of us for a short fishing getaway.

Fun autumn getaway
This is a small, older home. Having said that, it was perfect for a friend getaway weekend. It was clean, comfortable and decorated cute. The kitchen is tiny- only room for one cook, but we’ll stocked. The deck and tiki bar need replacing/repair. Beds were super comfortable. Loved the hammock and fire pit. Overall, great location, clean and comfortable house. Would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kelly’s Glen. The house was very clean and the kitchen cabinets were labeled so we knew exactly where everything was. The house was decorated and furnished in a way that made it feel comfortable and inviting. The doc was perfect for hanging out and fishing. We definitely want to go back next year for another relaxing get away!

Suzanne,Your Lake home has beautiful views which is important to me and other wheelchair users. The snow presented a problem getting out. The neighbors plowed around our van a few hours before we left, but nothing else. My husband asked them for help and they responded by telling him they didn’t know anyone. They told him about a resident that has a large garage. They did not know about me and our 2 dogs in the van waiting alone, while the fuel gauge was on empty.Unfortunately, we will not be returning. The reason being, is that it isn’t wheelchair accessible. I have learned in the last 33 years to have a portable ramp with me always.Your entry ramp does not appear to be up to code which would make it much easier for a manual chair as well as a power chair like mine. (I noticed I was leaning slightly when I was on it))The wood beneath my chair was cracking as I rolled over it.The only accessible wheelchair entrance was through the bedroom sliding glass door. it required my portable ramp to get up to the platform where it’ s located.. To roll on to the rest of the wraparound deck, it required the portable ramp again.I observed that the pickets did not look safe for a young child or up to code.If anyone were to walk on your deck in bare feet, they would surely get splinters due to the rotting wood. The house, although wonderful in pictures, had a dirty feel to it. All of the sliding glass doors had smudges on them. The bedding material including the pillows seemed worn out and old. TheThe window treatments appeared decades old and had a yellowed look to them. The Tiki bar and deck look to be fantastic and new, especially in comparison to the original dock. Neither of these are wheelchair accessible, especially in a heavy power wheelchair like mine. This critique is meant to be taken as a means to improve the ADA actual requirements and an overall observation from not only a wheelchair user, but a potential repeat renter with grandchildren.Until your home is updated and wheelchair friendly, please take the wheelchair logo off the websites as well as anything stating that your home is accessible.Thank you,Paige Crouch
