The driveway is very steep like worse than you can imagine. But it was manageable in the summer. The pillows were very thin and had no support and the bed sheets were very low quality and a bit rough. My step son and I both got spider bites so check the sheets before you go to bed. The cooking oil is expired so don’t use it. The house itself is very nice and spacious and was plenty of room for our family of 5. The living area has two small couches and we tried to watch a movie one night together but some of us had to lay on the floor. But the house was clean when we arrived and it was comfortable and was close to the beach and golf course which my husband and step son loved!

Great location. Not far from the park. Grocery store and local restaurants within minutes of the house. Close to the main road too. The driveway requires some confidence behind the wheel, but it’s manageable.

Beautiful stay with plenty of room. Perfect for us two couples and would be great for families too. As other reviews state, the driveway is STEEP. We had a bit of trouble with it, especially with cars low to the ground. But beyond that, the stay and the staff were great. Love Groveland for many reasons, and this house was another reason why!

This was a great place to spend a weekend with friends outside of Yosemite. Clean property, well-stocked with utensils and pots/pans for breakfast spreads and dinner plans. Heed the warnings about the driveway, particularly if you drive a manual car - you may stall out trying to park.

This house was great for our family - teenager, 3 year old, 3 month old, and dog. Plenty of space and very comfortable! Kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Great location for walks with the family and close to lake, golf course, and local store.

Great house. But as everyone else mentions the driveway is extremely steep. We had no rain and was not yet snow season so it was only a bit of a hassle but make sure you have 4wd. If not find out if you can park at the grill and walk maybe? We were there for a memorial service at the grill and it was easy to walk there using the golf course path. House was very clean. Had small soap and shampoo. Clean towels and sheets. No wine opener so bring one 🙃 great front porch. We did have issues with the fridge not closing properly and not keeping things cold. But we didn’t eat at the house so they was not much of an issue for us. If you book. Make sure they fixed the fridge.

The place is amazing. It is absolutely what I expected based on the photos. It was very clean and was fully stocked with kitchen and bathroom essentials. Check-in and check-out were easy.
If you are considering this spot- book it! A very nice house with a gorgeous patio and view.
A great family friendly home. There were board games and DVDs for the kiddos. The village had so many activites (besides Yosemite) that kept the whole family busy.

Cute place but not desirable as it’s on a steep lot right in front of a large condo building. There is no usable space outside except the front porch which is very nice. Our car spun out trying to get up driveway.

The home is very nice and spacious, was very clean when we arrived. It was in a nice location close to the Golf Course and about a 5 min drive to the Lake. The only issue with this house is that it isn’t well stocked at all! They provided toilet paper, 1 roll of Paper towels, some dish and laundry soap and that’s it! Aside from the dishes, utensils, and cleaning supplies the cupboards were completely bare. Thankfully I brought some cooking spray with us, but we had to go to the store to get coffee filters. Seems weird if you have a coffee maker not to have any filters.? Also no cleaning supplies in the house, no broom, no vacuum. Maybe not a problem for most people on vacation but traveling with 2 small children and our dog, there was bound to be some dirt and stickiness, would have been great to be able to clean it up better. I don’t expect them to provide everything for our stay but a couple convenience items wouldn’t be a bad idea. Many other properties in the area supply the basic items.

This place is managed by a company, so if you need to contact someone, good luck with that. I had tried contacting management a couple times prior to our arrival, but had no luck.
The pictures of the place are misleading. This property needs photos of the exterior as well. If we had known of the driveway, we wouldn't have booked this place. It's mentioned in their description, which we've seen before we booked, but they didn't mention HOW steep it really is. I'd still wouldn't want to drive my AWD up that steep driveway. To give you somewhat an idea of how steep, that driveway is sloped at a ~70 degree angle (literally almost perpendicular to street). AND to add to this, the main street is also at an incline. So you have an uphill incline of the street in addition to a steep driveway.
Management gave us outdated info. Before we arrived, they mentioned in their description that amenities in the community are closed due to COVID-19 restrictions, which is entirely not true. The lake was open to temporary guests.
Will not recommend this place. Will not book again.

Lovely, comfortable home to vacation at. We enjoyed exploring Yosemite and being able to return to a comfy home. Also enjoyed the Pine Mountain Lake amenities.

The driveway was indeed very steep. I would not try to walk down the driveway. The yards could use some improvements. The weeds and and burrs are not good for dogs. Especially furry ones.
We are not tech savvy so no television for us as we were not familiar with Roku and I didn’t see instructions. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

Exploring Pine Mountain Lake
The property is perfect for 2 couples and 2 dogs! Although there is no place to let your dog out and roam and take a potty break. The porch is fabulous with plenty of room to have dinner, play cards. Nearby to Iron Door Saloon and Groveland Hotel to watch the Warriors win! Beauty abounds in natural swimming holes at Rainbow Pools.

Family trip to Yosemite
Nice house in great neighborhood, surrounded with golf fields. I counted 8 sleeping beds, but on the page it says 10, maybe owner provides air bed. We traveled with our friends total 7 people, there were more than enough space for us. Floor is loud when you walk, it squeaks a lot. Other than this awesome house. We really enjoyed staying there. Would definitely recommend. And don’t be scared to park, you’re gonna be fine ;)

Spring getaway
Cute house and plenty of room for the two of us and our two dogs plus my son and his little family. Great location to get to Yosemite for hiking. Yes, the driveway is steep but figured it out after a couple of try’s. Perfect size and had everything we needed. Ran short on garbage bags. Coul have stocked one for eacday. Nice location for sure!

As the listing makes clear, the driveway is very, very steep. We have a 4 wheel drive SUV, and it was still a little bit challenging to go up. We scraped the bumper once when we exited and made a right turn. (Stay to the left!) Note that you must be able to walk up a flight of steps to use this home.
We loved the wildlife in the area! We saw deer across the street every morning.
The house is great, with everything we needed. I'd give it 5 stars, except for the driveway.

Lovely!
Gallery House was a lovely place to stay! Very clean and uncluttered with plenty of space for a family of four to spread out. We loved sitting out on the porch every morning for some coffee. Having the pool nearby was a big plus too.

Groveland house
This house is comfortable and only about a half hour from the entrance to Yosemite. The house could have been a bit cleaner though. We had no issues entering the community and getting a parking pass.

The driveway is 35% grade
High ground clearance vehicle is recommended. We really enjoyed this stay. The house setting is great for vacation. Very relaxing and comfortable. The house needs a little bit more attention to the cleaning. There are chips and crumbles under the dinning table. Oven has a giant puddle of grease on the bottom. I wish the HOA is more friendly to allow us to use our own paddle boards.

Nice, but two huge obstacles...
Very nice property... location awesome, but...
1) internet is not just spotty, as the ad says, it's unusable for more than 1 person. MAX 6mbs dl... we had to leave early for this reason alone.
2) it says AWD required all year round, but even if you have it, tires spin out, and it's a real challenge to park!
3) this place NO WAY sleeps 10. Don't even try. 8 MAX.
4) $40 for parking even though you see so many prices ($25, $30, $35 thruout the notes, which really needs fixing.
Would not stay here again.

Incorrect and missing information
Overall, the house was nice. But there definitely are not what I would call beds for 10. There is 1 king size, 1 queen size, 2 twins, a pull out mattress, and two recliner type seats. That does NOT count as sleeping arrangements for 10. Also, there is a $40 extra parking fee PER CAR that should be stated before you purchase the vrbo. It was also $5 more than stated in a later email. The house is sparsely stocked, and missing quite a few items that I consider normal for a vrbo to have. Overall, it was a nice place. If these things were corrected, I would go there again.

Very nice accommodations - however the difficulty of the driveway was "under-stated"! A friendly neighbor finally showed us the trick. Also, there could be more information - maybe warning - regarding availability and use of internet and media - although they encouraged tenants to 'unplug'. That being said - beautiful home, very good beds, quiet setting, beautiful walking areas, inviting lake, but house seemed cavernous for just two people - wouldn't refer to it as a cozy cabin. Great family retreat!

Beautiful and Spacious Home, however the process could be better...
Clean and has all amenities to make your stay comfortable. Great location as it is about 30 mins to the Yosemite Entrance. This was my first experience with VACASA and the process did not go smoothly. As we checked in at the security gate, the personnel informed us that our names were not listed. Took 3 phone calls to VACASA and 30 min of delay to remedy the situation. Make sure you confirm with VACASA before your trip to ensure that all administrative logistics are sorted out. For privacy concerns, the instructions to locate the lockbox is incorrect, which added further delay to actually getting inside the house. I thank my detective kids for actually figuring out how to get inside. We were not able to use the WIFI as the password supplied to us was incorrect. We didn't mind as we intentionally decided to take a family break from devices and TV streams. We also were not able to use the garage as the access codes were not provided. Fortunately, this was not a big issue since we had only one car due to family members backing out. If we had additional guest cars, then we definitely needed the garage and could have been problematic. After driving for most of the day with tired whining kids in the back, these troubles were the last thing we wanted to experience. The driveway is indeed very steep so low cars beware. Beautiful home
The pictures do not do this home justice. We were hoping for snow but instead had beautiful almost 70° weather. The home is absolutely gorgeous and comfortable. My family felt right at home. Only issue was being able to speak to someone. I was able to get through once. I wanted to let them know the coffee pot broke. Truth is someone should have said something before. The handle was lose and well it eventually caused it to completely come off break the pot and being that It was filled with hot coffee. Well you can imagine what our sock wearing feet felt. Thankfully it was not super bad. The owners were not kidding about the driveway. Oh wee get your vehicle up that steep driveway is a job in its self. None the less I super recommend this home. If you need a relaxing getaway even with kids this is the home to be at. The cosy feel of the entire place was worth my burnt toes. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us. Peaceful Getaway
A great family friendly place to stay with all the amenities you need. The kids loved the games and awesome selection of DVD's. The porch was a plus where you can relax in tranquility with great views. The only down side was that the garage had some garbage bags on the floor with garbage which wasn't so pleasant to see. I would recommend that there be a designated garbage can to place garbage/recycling in the garage when leaving. Other than that everything was great. Thinking of coming back in the summer to make use of the lake. Thanks.
