About this resort
Please do not inquire for race events. We do not accommodate for these events and would appreciate your selecting another condo. Thank you for your cooperation and consideration.
Welcome to the heavenly island of Molokai where the sunsets are the most beautiful you will have seen in your lifetime. Where you can walk on the beaches and see only your footprints in the sand. Where there are no traffic lights and the people are the most friendliest people you will ever meet in all of Hawaii.
Our condo has a king size bed in lofted area with plenty of storage for your clothing. The kitchen area has plenty of room and space with all your cooking needs. We have a separate buffet area for storage. There is a oven with four burner cooktop with separate microwave cooking. We have a small dishwasher. We have washer/dryer with extra large capacity. Our condo is very well kept and is very clean....with a strong stairway to the loft.
This Condo is located at one of the quietest areas of the complex. It is an upstairs unit with a 20 ft vaulted ceiling, which gives you overall privacy and view. You can see Oahu and Diamondhead in the distance. It is a corner unit which gives you openess with additional view and ventilation. You have an unobstructed view out to the ocean directly in front of you and being a corner unit you have one side free of anyone next door along with additional viewing. This gives for a more private open feeling. Our condo is 2231 in building 23.
Sit out on your lanai and eat your breakfast, lunch and dinner and sip your island cocktail on your private lanai, which overlooks paradise. Watch the humpback whales in the winter months.
Next to you is the longest Hawaiian Beach Papohaku Beach. It is about three miles long and is great for anytime of the day to take a nice long walk... Relax and enjoy the peace and serenity and see what it is like to be at a tradtitional Hawaiian island. An island that is not commercialized with numerous buildings nor traffic lights. The island has 8000 residents which is small in number compared to other islands of Hawaii.
Molokai allows you to actually enjoy the seclusion and solitude along with the beauty of the island. Explore the island to find out it's uniqueness and what it has to offer you. This is individual. The mule ride is an exceptional experience. This gives you the feeling of the old Hawaii. The untouched feeling and respect of this island. Truly a wonderful experience to visit this island and it's offerings.

This is a gem of a property. Located in west molokai. Very serene and quiet. There's not much to do but to relax. Walks along the beach, easy hikes, watching sunsets and whales.
This unit is immaculate. It is the most well appointed rental i have ever been in. Its got everything you would need in a rental. The views from the second story lanai are breath taking. There are stairs to loft bedroom and the bathroom is downstairs. The cross breeze keeps the unit cool and comfortable. The in suite laundry is a god send.Clayton the property manager is the best. He's very attentive.
The views are incredible and there's nothing between you and the ocean. The pool is clean, cool and overlooks the ocean.
The only downside is that there are no dining options. There's a small store to buy dry goods and some frozen food. You have to plan on cooking and buying food in town which is 20min away. There are a few places to eat in town but make sure you check hours of operation.
You don't want to be driving at night as it is very dark and many deer that seem to pop up out of nowhere.
The general resort property is well kept but there are abandoned buildings left over from the old days of the Sheraton. Google it. Fascinating history.
We would definitely stay here again. Looking forward to returning next year

Very nice and clean place with awesome views!
But we recommend to get Jalousie to cover the grids!
We had stormy weather and it was really windy and cold in the room.

Condi was very clean. Very nicely decorated. Well supplied. Easy 5-minute walk across the field to the beach. 15 minute walk south to the awesome Papohaku beach. About the same to the lovely Make Horse beach.

Nice and quiet condo in a beautiful location. It’s remote so as long as you are ok being 25 minutes from restaurants and grocery store you will love it here. There are a few small stores nearby where you can get basics tho.
We enjoyed the condo and greatly appreciated all the extra things the host provided to make our experience even more enjoyable.

Our visit was magical! We arrived to a sparkling clean condo fully equipped for vacationers traveling with minimal supplies. Beach chairs, coolers, as well as information regarding various sightseeing options provided additional ease to our journey. Finally, the welcome basket waiting on the table put a huge smile in our hearts. Your passion for sharing Molokai is a wonderful gift and greatly appreciated. Thank you, Larry, Cheryl and Clayton!

This is an older property, part of a development that was abandoned by developers many years ago. The private condo's (of which this is one) maintain their part of the property and the pool. This unit has great views, responsive owners, and is as described in the listing. A little small, but fine for 2 people. About 100 yards to beach across area that used to be the golf course. Note: about 200 yards from parking to unit.
It was windy when we were there, not good for swimming due to surf. There were surfers at the other end of the development, but looked too scary for me.
Note: stores are several miles from condo, and have limited selection of food.
Great location to hang on the beach, watch the surfers, and be away from just about everything. 4 stars due to the age of the development, and limited swimming in the ocean.

The condo is just as advertised in the photos. It is secluded, very quiet. It is not far to walk to get in the water.

We loved our stay here! The condo had everything we could have needed during our time in Molokai. Clayton was lovely, welcoming, and gave us recommendations for things to do. Cheryl and Larry have put a lot of effort into this place to make it like a home away from home. Thank you for a great stay!

Very well maintained and cleaned property. Washer and dryer in the unit is a big plus. Surrounding beaches make for a great vacation.

My mom and I spent a week here and it was perfect. They had everything we needed in the condo and beautiful beaches within walking distances with very few people on them. Wonderful views on the Lanai for morning coffee and breakfast. This condo was a great value and we highly recommend!

This was our first visit to Molokai, but hopefully, not our last! The condo was just as pictured & the location was perfect for sunset viewing & just overall beautiful view! The kitchen was very well furnished with nice pots/pans ( we stay in a lot of condos & know what a nicely furnished kitchen is all about!). The bed slept VERY well! It was especially nice having the washer/dryer inside the condo. I will mention the bedroom was upstairs, so this might not work for everyone, perfect for us though! We arrived to find a nice Welcome Basket & waters/juice in fridge! Everything you needed for the beach was included also, brand new beach chairs, nice umbrella, cooler, etc. The owners were extremely easy to communicate with as well as condo manager. It was just a wonderful two week stay!

My wife and I have come to Molokai seven times and have stayed at this condo twice. We’ve only stayed in it twice because of availability. The view is spectacular and the condo is amazing and and the price is perfect. We had no issues with the condo, but we’re checked in on by the owner a few times, which was very comforting, if anything did arise.

This condo was spotless, super clean. As an interior designer, hats off to the gracious owners for the condo’s beauty and comfort. The view is just perfect. The condo was stocked like I would stock my own home, with every necessity there. There are no crowds, just people casually enjoying themselves. It’s a very natural environment to spend time without the pressure to dress or talk a certain way; just relax and enjoy each other and the environment. It is winter and it stormed a couple of days but the condo was safe in every way and the owner’s rep called to check up on us. The grounds have paved paths with beautiful, fragrances flowering trees and shrubs. The swimming pool area was a place we liked to sit and watch the surf. The pool rarely had anyone else there and was deliciously cool to swim in. There is so much more we could say. In essence, hats off to the friendly, helpful owners for the care they have shown us. Thank you.

After a year as missionaries in Micronesia on the way home via Hawaii we desperately needed a real quiet & relaxing time for ourselves. The stay in Cheryl & Larry Andresen's condo was perfect, the owners and their local friend taking are of the condo are wonderful, very nice, communicative and accommodating. Every possible information regarding the property, the surroundings and the island was provided. It is obvious that the property is furnished and maintained with a heart :-). It is equipped with almost everything imaginable for an autonomous stay, the place is cosy but perfect for two people and the king-size bed upstairs is very comfortable with a sufficiently hard mattress. Moving back home, we travelled with quite a load of luggage, still managing to place it 'somewhere'.
The Kepuhi Resort itself is rather old and many buildings are abandoned, nevertheless there is a small store open every day until 5pm. The airport as well as 'serious' grocery shopping and going out for dinner are approximately 1/2h by car (be aware of opening hours/days). The beach is wonderful (max. 10min walk from the corner condo), very private and quiet; the awesome sea for swimming was just what we needed during our stay (the waters are otherwise very dangerous during winter months). Yes, of course, the sunsets are also great, and, if you sneak out very quietly onto the balcony at night, you'll be surrounded with a huge herd of grazing deer which are also a real menace on the roads, so drive carefully! One cannot hear the waves in this condo, but the Andersen's have another one (occupied during our dates) closer to the rocky part of the beach where one would be able to hear them at night (for us, a balm for the nerves :-)
Thank you again for a warm welcome and a perfect stay!

My daughter and I spent a few days in Molokai after visiting some of the bigger islands. This island is rich in culture and history and the locals are proud to be maintaining that. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting people and experiencing some of the things that Molokai has to offer. The condo was a nice resting place for us in the evenings after we ventured out during the day. The sunsets from the lanai were just awesome. We sooo many deer (caution when driving at night!) The condo was well equipped with beach necessities, a fan, all the cooking utensils you’d need and extra keys. We will definitely tell sour friends about this place and highly recommend

I will have to say this property was probably the best maintained and best well stocked VRBO I’ve ever stayed at. And I’ve stayed at quite a few others around the world. It was shocking how many supplies their kitchen had and the quality of everything in the condo was in excellent condition! We were not lacking anything and all the little added touches were a pleasant surprise (extra big fluffy soft beach towels, comfy, assorted beach chairs, etc). Also thanks for the welcoming fruit basket!! The view from the lanai was stunning and watching the sunset and having evening moonlit walks under the stars was much enjoyed. The location was a little removed from town but Molokai is very easy to get around with a car. Plus if we needed little things there is a small grocery at the resort.
My only very minor complaint was how hot the place heated up during the daytime. There were additional fans (much appreciated) but unfortunately the ceiling fan above was not in working condition. But there was a constant flow of breeze with the lanai doors open and with the front door open at times it was possible to cool the place down.
We much enjoyed our downtime in Molokai and there was no rush to do anything except to relax and enjoy the beauty this island has to offer. We felt very welcomed by our hosts the moment we stepped into their place and all the information we needed were available there for us so we never had to contact anyone. But Clayton was readily available if needed. Thanks so much for letting us stay at your superb condo!!!

We spent a wonderful time in this properly! The condo is super clean, well equipped and well maintained. We went to see lots of beautiful beaches ( and imagine - we were all alone!), we went on awesome rides with our 4WD Jeep and enjoyed strolling through Kaunakakai. They have a terrific bakery and great ice cream. Yum!
Can't wait to go back to see Molokai's wild beauty. Even the flight with Mokulele airlines is a big fun adventure.
The owners and the housekeeper were easy to communicate with. Thanks for this great vacation!

This property was absolutely perfect for my trip with my husband. He had to work remotely for a couple of days and was very comfortable. The hosts thought of everything, it was equipped with everything we needed. The views from the lanai were spectacular. We love to hop over from Maui time to time for a getaway and we will absolutely be booking this property again, can’t wait! Mahalo!

This unit has the best ocean view and open lofted interior space on the lot. (Other units appear cramped and may not have the beautiful lofted ceiling and spectacular patio view..) This is the one you want. And the caretaker takes great care of the place.

Very comfortable and relaxing unit. Great view and all the amenities you need for a Molokai vacation. Great beaches in walking distance. 15 minutes to airport.

Loved our stay on Molokai. Well stocked kitchen, linens, beach chairs, umbrella and cooler. Beautiful sunsets every night and a new beach every day. Resort grounds are extremely well kept. Pool was very clean. 3 minute walk to the beach which you can see from the lanai. Unit was very quiet most of the week. Neighbors below moved in later in the week and the walls are very thin. Not a major problem however. We would definitely stay again.

The unblocked full view of the ocean with the sounds of crushing surf from the lanai was mesmerizing and relaxing. As we wanted to stay away from the urban hassles, it was a perfect location.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at this property. It was so perfect. A nice little condo the looks out over the ocean. We loved listening to the ocean thunder on the sand and the birds chatter in the trees. We were even lucky enough to see a Tom turkey strutting around the property. This place is just what we wanted. Out of the way, very slow paced, just a chance to relax. The bed is comfortable, the welcome basket was very nice and the condo has all the things you will need. We also appreciated the quick responses from Cheryl as we had a few questions. This is a great place and wecwould recommend it to everyone.

Highly recommended.

This condo. Is in my opinion the best in the complex, corner unit, with no views to obstruct……the owners have it very well stocked, the were prompt on all of our communications and Clayton left some very nice items in the gift basket……I will be returning again soon…
Thanks, Cheryl-Larry and Clayton

Molokai is a wonderful place to enjoy the peace and beauty of old Hawaii. We stayed in 3 Kepuhi Beach condos over two weeks. This was our favorite. It has an unobstructed view of the ocean. We saw Humpback whales in the distance. The layout of the unit is perfect. Sleeping is upstairs. There are tables inside and outside. There is a sleep-sofa (we did not use the sleep feature) and a desk. Internet worked well; we had no desire to try out the television. The coffee maker can handle drip coffee and k-cups. The kitchen has everything one could need on vacation. There are beach chairs, a small cooler and extra towels. It is not brand-spanking new, but if you are looking for a home away from home, this is the place. The hosts are really nice and respond quickly to guest inquiries. Thank you!

Enjoyed the lanai with zero gravity recliners and eating table with tall chairs. Everything worked well and fully stocked kitchen. Only problem I had in my 9 night stay was understanding how to use the lockbox but with several quick responses from owner was able to get in. I am returning to Molokai in two months but unfortunately my dates weren’t available or I would stay in either of cheryls properties.

The view of the sunset over the ocean was amazing. The condo was incredibly well-stocked and had everything we could have needed. Molokai is a wonderful place to visit and the location was perfect for beach walking.

This has been one of our best visits. The condo was beautiful. The owners are super friendly and easy to communicate with!!

Everything was wonderful. The condo was perfect. Great location with awesome view. The condo was well stocked with everything needed to make our stay stress free. We loved all the books and detailed info folder provided. Also loved the welcome basket.
Only negative thing is when we arrived we had no code to get in the condo. We got a hold of the property manager and he filled us in on the code to get in to the unit. Also the kitchen faucet had zero water two morning in a row. There was construction taking place on the wing across the way that may have caused the issue.
All In all great stay with just a couple speed bumps, not a big deal.

My partner and I had an amazing time here celebrating her birthday! The condo is in a prime location on a beautiful, quiet property with direct ocean views. The condo is a corner unit so it has somewhat expanded views, and the lanai is a perfect spot to enjoy a sunset and a beverage. The beach directly in front is somewhat swimmable when the ocean is flat, but better swimming can be had at Make Horse beach just north of the property. What we really loved was that the unit had everything we needed to enjoy Molokai - beach chairs, towels, cookware, a full-size fridge with lots of ice inside, the works! One thing to note for this property as well as most others on the island is the lack of A/C; it was not a big deal for us, but depending on the time of year you'll have some warmer nights than you might be used to. Cheryl and Larry have a great spot here and we look forward to coming back!

Condo was more than adequate for the two of us. The welcome gift was awesome. The condo was equipped with everything necessary for cooking a nice meal. It had an unobstructed view of the beach. The whole area was really quiet and quite laid back. The beach out front was nice but the 15 minute walk to the 3 mile beach yielded a far superior result. For most of the time there was never anyone on it other than us. My kind of beach. BTW be warned that anyone wanting to stay on Molokai should think twice about arriving on a Sunday because everything in town is closed.

I loved everything about this unit and its location! Every time we needed something, we'd look around the unit, and there it was almost every time. We started calling it the "room of requirement" (Harry Potter reference). It is a corner unit so the lanai is very open and breezy. The view is totally unobstructed and so peaceful. They actually pruned the tree right next to the lanai on our second day and it opened up the view on the right side incredibly! The way it’s laid out, we were able to have the front door open for a cross breeze but have almost total privacy (thanks to a tree growing by the balcony). We saw whales every day from the lanai. The recliners on the lanai were super comfy, and the table had high chairs so it was easy to see over the railing. The beach in front of the condo is gorgeous and sandy, and only a 2-minute walk (the photos make it seem farther). The waves are strong and there are rocks, so it wasn’t safe for swimming. There was zero road noise. The whole place is incredibly quiet, and usually all you can hear are the birds, wind, and waves. The birds are loud though! We are bird lovers, so this was fine with us, but I could see them being annoying to some folks, as they make some noise at night and early in the morning. We had to close the lanai doors at night because of mosquitos (which weren’t too bad) but there are screened windows you can open at night for a breeze. Also it has a ceiling fan and a floor fan. The king size bed was super comfy, and they have TONS of pillows! The loft has a very big armoire so you can unpack all your clothes. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, with brand new high-quality pots and pans, good knives, a Britta filter, and many small appliances. They have everything you need for outings: two soft coolers on a dolly (plus an extra dolly in the closet), beach umbrella, beach towels, and two backpack-style beach chairs. There is a little store in the complex that has some basic necessities, so you don’t have to drive 30 minutes to the store for something small. The unit is walkable to two incredible beaches: Make Horse (.75 mile away) and Papohaku Beach (.5 mile). The fact that it’s on a defunct golf course is really great because there are tons of paths to walk on. When we arrived there was a basket of welcome treats, lots of ice in the ice trays, and a full Britta filter in the fridge. I will definitely be back to this place...it was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had!

It was exactly what I needed to escape pandemic lockdowns and cold weather on the mainland. I was studying online courses and I enjoyed having the day to myself. I enjoyed walking the property with virtually no foot traffic. The condo has everything you need. Layout works for a single person or a family. The birds in the morning are the perfect wake up alarm. Thank you Cheryl and Larry! Clayton was so hospitable I was fortunate to meet him too!

We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderfully located, well equipped condo. The unit is extremely clean and thoughtfully laid out, many new furnishings since our last visit. The owners are incredibly friendly and communications are a breeze. Plus, their local caretaker is a total darling and really looks after you. All in all, a wonderful experience! We look forward to a future stay. Mahalo for having us as your guests!
