Our family loves Punta Mita because of the variety of activities and the relaxed atmosphere. Las Palmas 8 is lovely with a quick walk to the ocean and a well appointed home. Staff was always there to help when needed.

The property is good, not as big as it looks in some photos but has a good layout. It’s showing a little age and some aspects are outdated. You need a phd to figure out how to unfold and put back the patio doors. We had some issues that the internet didn’t work the first 2 days of the stay, the property manager was communicative and they did their best to resolve it as quickly as they could. The hot tub wasn’t hot, more of a plunge pool and that was not resolved. One of the showers doesn’t get hot because it’s installed reversed but there’s nothing to tell you that. The kitchen is stocked ok but doesn’t come with many basics, cooking oil, salt & pepper, coffee etc.. some basics would be better. We enjoyed our stay and the outdoor area is the best feature of the home. The concern was that after we reported the issues we encountered during our stay the listing host was not responsive, after several follow ups we still haven’t heard from them. To me for this caliber of a home this is unacceptable. The property manager on site which is a different company was great and very responsive, give them the listing to manage as well! They would get 5 stars if I could rate just them. We had a nice time but I wouldn't return to this property. There were more issues inside than listed but no one seems to want the feedback to improve it.

We had absolutely the best time here. The home was spacious and clean with great views and easy access to all the Punta Mita has to offer. My only comment would be that there is only 1 king bed in the home, and it was advertising that there were 5.

Mucho gracias for our stay Monica. We are so sad to leave. We had a wonderful time and the house was amazing- perfect location, great bedrooms and pool/hot tub. Marta was always great making sure the house was ready each day with clean pool towels etc. Our concierge Fernanda was fantastic as well- very responsive and helpful with ideas. Thank you again for a wonderful stay! Look forward to coming back again soon!

The house was beautiful and clean. It slept 8 adults and 2 kids comfortably. We had Nellie come in to cook breakfast for us and she was a delight as was her food. If you're going in the off-season, I'd recommend checking which beach clubs are open. We were bummed to find two of the three beach clubs were closed when were there. However, we had a fantastic time at the Pacifico Beach club. The staff, food, and drinks were all excellent.

Wonderful home
We had 6 moms and 6 senior girls and enjoyed a full week at this beautiful home. Everything you can imagine is nearby including an amazing view of the ocean. We loved every minute of the home and it’s wonderful housekeeper! We had a cook as well and massages at home and we were thrilled with all of the arrangements. There is wonderful security around and we felt very comfortable with our daughters taking the golf cart around the area at night. Definitely one of my favorite places to stay at Punta Mita!

Make sure you Lock everything! We were robbed here.
I’ve been coming to this area for several years and have never had a problem. I have never felt unsafe or scared ever. The villa is nice, great pool area overlooking the golf course. They could use a new juicer as a crucial piece is missing making it inoperable. They need covers for the pots and pans, a couple of oven pans And some oven mits. It takes several minutes for the water to heat up in the shower too. A/C worked great in each room. A guide to how to get the TV from Spanish to English would be helpful as well as a channel guide of some sort. We both stay in a lot of hotels so we take for granted the things that make life on the road easy. For the price these things should be standard. The golf cart that was provided was crap. It was very old, had no shocks at all, in fact it was more like a utility golf cart that the workers ride around in. It was uncomfortable especially on the cobble roads. Not at all what was expected.
We were having a great time overall until two nights before we were to leave, Someone broke into our villa and stole all of our cash, some jewelry I had purchased that day, headphones and an expensive watch. We left everything in the living room, unfortunately. We were upstairs sleeping. We locked everything every night, I never take chances. I know several others who live in this development and they often leave everything unlocked. The head of the private security came to see what had happened and he was visibly surprised when he learned that it didn’t happen during the day but at night while we were sleeping. They came in through the glass panel openings in the dining room. They are not very secure. The owner should get a camera system ASAP. I believe that Punta Mita is a very safe area. This villa is not at fault. With the pandemic I’m sure people are down on their luck but there is no excuse for this sort of thing to happen here. The guards give you a false sense of security, it’s obviously not secure. Be careful, Lock your doors and use the safes (ours were not operable because they were locked) for your valuables. Keep everything in your bedroom with you and lock your bedroom door. With people so desperate anything can happen. We are grateful we weren’t harmed and our credit cards and passports were left behind. Monica the manager was apologetic. Everyone was sorry. I just think people should know to lock their doors at all times and take precautions because if this can happen to us, it can happen to you.

Loved Las Palmas 8
Our 10-person holiday vacation at Las Palmas 8 couldn't have been better. The house is beautiful and well-designed for a group. Punta Mita overall is fabulous. It's easy to get everywhere by golf cart. The owner and her team provide exceptional customer service. They are very communicative and always available to answer questions and line up activities. We would absolutely recommend Las Palmas 8 and hope to go back!

The best time!
We loved Punta Mita, the house, the location, everything! Monica was very helpful with everything. The housekeeper was awesome! The house was always impecable. The beds super comfy, linens, towels and everything else was top! Pictures in the website are nice but in person I think is even better!
The house is just perfect, really good for kids too. Every detail is very nice.

Fun!
The house was in a great location for our kids to play in the grass and enjoy the pool and hot tub. We enjoyed walking to one of the beach clubs and watching the sunsets on the beach with just a 3 minute walk from the house! The cook and house cleaner we’re friendly and professional.

Amazing property and excellent service!
The house was so amazing. Comfortable, great location... air conditioning worked perfect in every room. We only had our family stay but the house would fit 2 families very comfortably.
Betty from Vallarta rentals was overly accommodating and helpful as our concierge.
There was cleaning gal and a daily cook (breakfast and lunch) made it feel like vacation. So nice and the food was sooooo good.
Definitely recommend.

We were three couples off for a week holiday to Punta Mita, and were thrilled to find this home. The location is great, walking distance to the ocean and residents beach club (our favorite). They also provided a 6-seater golf cart, which we took everywhere, and they have the Premier Golf membership which lets you have access to the maximum amount of amenities (including the Sufi and Kupuri beach clubs). The home actually had some water issues while we were there (its a house- things happen!), and the manager and staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and more than made up for the inconvenience. The concierge (Tonny) was great, both before and during our arrival. If there was anything at all we needed, he was on it,and we never had a single issue with anything he arranged for us. I recommend getting the cooks to make you breakfast (small extra charge), and ask for Veronica and Olga. Oh my god! Dont even bother telling them what you want each day - everything they make is fantastic, and they are so fun to have around. By the end, they were singing and dancing with us.One other nice thing about this home is the hot tub. Most Las Palmas homes have only pools, but no hot tub. This home has both. The view from the pool and hot tub is right down the fairway looking at the famous Tail of the Whale golf hole, and you can see the waves crashing on the rocks. A very peaceful and beautiful location. We WILL be back.

Had everything we needed for a lovely week in Punta Mita
The service we were provided was great. The house is very comfortable, but if two families are traveling together (as we were) it would be ideal if there we really two master bedrooms, with king beds. Regardless, all the rooms had nice bathrooms, two with outdoor and indoor bathrooms.

Amazing Stay at Beautiful Las Palmas
We loved our experience at Villa Las Palmas and in the Punta Mita community so much we would love to return ASAP. The villa is lovely and larger than the photos depict. The concierge service set up incredible Chef dinners and lunches at the villa. The food and staff (Including the maid service) were wonderful! I would recommend the dinners and lunches at least for a few days. Both Beach Clubs were great. The Residents Club is very close to the Villa and is a little more low key. The service is faster than at the Kupuri Beach Club, however the Kupuri Club is Gorgeous! The check in and check out experience were easy.
Our friends rented the villa next to us (#7), which is a great option if you are a larger group. We had some issues with the additional golf cart (not ordered through Monica or the concierge...just on our own), but our concierge helped us and the company did not charge us for the days our cart didn't work.
We organized a sailing excursion through Ally Cat Sailing, and this was a WONDERFUL experience. I would highly recommend it. So fun for all ages.

Low-key Family vacation in Punta Mita
Wonderful home! We were in Mexico to celebrate my son's first birthday and this home ended being the perfect home for us. For young children: There is a small room off the master upstairs that was the perfect room to put his crib and keep him close-by and the pool has a shallow shelf which was perfect for him to splash around in!
My husband absolutely loved the outdoor shower in the master (and there is even a small one by the pool-perfect for bathing babies). I loved the inside-outside feel of the home when all doors are opened. One concern I had was being on the golf course during our stay but it was a non-issue for us as, I think, we were there during a low time and there really weren't many golfers around (but loads of grounds-keepers buzzing around that always had a friendly wave).
Monica was great to communicate with and Marta, the housekeeper, was discreet and warm. And Aimee, the concierge was helpful and on-hand if you needed anything. Overall a fantastic experience!

Wonderful family vacation!
We had a wonderful week at Las Palmas 8. Monica was very responsive to all our needs. The concierge catered to our every need making dinner reservations, booking cars, etc. And Marta, the housekeeper, was great. Really a nice perk to have someone to make up the house everyday - and make margaritas and guacamole! The house is right on the golf course and you can easily walk to the ocean. We loved having the golf cart to go to the beach clubs. We'll be coming back again and again. Thanks!

Great stay with our adult children
Nice house, conveniently located within the gates. Bedrooms are separate units, for a lot of privacy. Kitchen is undersized for the size of the house. Furnishings a bit dated, but comfortable and functional. Comfortable bed and nice linens. Nice sized pool and 3 separate outdoor showers. Technology update would be nice and wifi was inconsistent and only accessible from the main living area. Suzie the concierge was fantastic and Marta, the housekeeper, was great. Overall, a great stay. Would stay again!

Beautiful home in a beautiful resort
Our family really enjoyed our stay. Everything went very smoothly, from airport pickup to arrival at the unit to departure. The home was very well maintained and clean during the entire stay. Monica, the owner, was great at responding and answering questions as they came up. The home can easily accommodate at least two families. We would recommend it to friends. Make sure to eat at Mita Mary's at the St. Regis - amazing ceviche. Also take the Marriettas Islands tour - very cool.

Exceeded any expectations we had, great house & great area!
We just returned home from renting this amazing villa! Ileana was very prompt in responding to any questions we had upon arriving. The photos aren't nearly as beautiful as the actual house, every bathroom felt like you were in a suite and lots of closet space. The house has a very private feel to it and the view of the golf course never gets old. This villa has one of the larger pools compared to the other villas in Las Palmas.
The Resident Beach Club was only a five minute walk away and the staff is very welcoming. Great food and great drinks, our kids really enjoyed the menu (ages 4-17). They have paddle, surf and boogie boards to rent. The town is just blocks outside of the main gate and about a 10 minute golf cart ride. There are many great restaurants to chose from and most of them have happy hour specials. They are all nested on the beach so you are able to grab an afternoon drink and do some shopping with the local beach vendors (whom were never pushy or aggressive). For a really special night out I would suggest Si Senior - the food was TO DIE FOR and the prices were reasonable.
The grounds throughout the entire Punta Mita community are beautiful.
Our transportation to and from the airport ended up being almost twice as much as we were quoted once it was arranged through the concierge. We had a party of 9 with lots of luggage so we needed two vans and it ended up being $565 (they also charge you are $25 fee for stopping at the store on your way into town). In the grand scheme of things it wasn't a huge deal but unexpected fees can be annoying.
I would love to rent this home again. Imelda did a great job of keeping the house tidy and being very helpful with meal preparation. Illeana was very informative upon our arrival. Thanks, Illeana!

We had a weeding to attend in Punta Mita. My wife and my two sons and daughter (with their wife's or husband) came with us. Imelda and her presence at the house made for a perfect trip. Best vacation with all our family that we have had in years. We will ba back

Great Spring Break
I reluctantly went to Punta Mita for Spring Break but was surprised by what a great spot it is. We loved the villa. It was well decorated and very well maintained by Imelda and the owners. It was more than enough space for our family of 5, though we spent much more time at the Beach Club than at the villa during the day. The weather was spectacular. Having the Four Seasons and the St. Regis so nearby is an added amenity though I don't feel like we missed a thing by staying here instead of at one of the resorts. The only hiccup we had was that the golf cart was not working properly. But after an email to the owner and a quick response, we had one rented and they took care of the cost. Overall, it is a great spot. Truly relaxing and well worth the visit.

Beautiful home in a great area
Thanks Ileana for sharing your beautiful home with my three children, my wife and I. Your home is beautifully decorated and has everything that we needed for an amazing stay. I cannot think of one thing that was missing. The backyard is beautiful with the pool and hottub and lots of areas to lounge comfortably. Our kids split their time between the pool and the beautiful beaches. Imelda was our housekeeper/host for our stay and she was very helpful. The place was always spotless. The sunsets were beautiful. We had not heard anything about Punta Mita but it is beautiful with spectacular rugged shoreline and amazing beaches nestled inside. The golf cart was great for travelling to the tennis club or the residents beach club which has pools, a great restaurant and a play area for the kids. The gated area of Punta Mita has about 7 developments (of which Las Palmas is one) and two outstanding hotels, The Four Seasons and the St. Regis. The grounds are pristine and although I didn't golf, the courses look spectacular with one course having the only natural island green hole in the world. Just up the coast is the cool town of Sauyalita which is a surf town. They had a world class surfing competition the Saturday we arrived. Lots of fun and the people are very friendly. The town of Punta Mita just outside the gates has some greats restaurants right on the beautiful beach. You will not be disappointed with a decision to stay at this house and the beautiful area of Punta Mita.

The Trip of a Lifetime
To celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary, we decided to take our whole family on the trip of a lifetime that would be a 'never to forget, wonderful experience". We knew we wanted Sun, Sea and not too far from California. It was easy to narrow down our choices to Mexico, and then we started looking for a beautiful location.
We all got into the act of searching the web and our two daughters soon came up with some excellent choices. We quickly decided on property #230068 which turned out to be a lucky number for us.
When we arrived in Punta Mita we were bowled over by the beautiful home we had chosen for our celebration. To understand how wonderful this home is you have to experience it for yourself. It is even better than the description. The security personnel were efficient and soon we were all walking through the different rooms, past the word "WELCOME" spelled out in red bougainvillea petals, and beyond the atrium with a waterfall, open to the blue sky above. Choosing the best bedroom was not easy but we already knew we had chosen the best location.
Within minutes of our arrival our grandkids were enjoying the sizeable pool and we were all meeting Imelda, who was going to be our cook, cleaning person and helper for our daytime needs. She helped us find everything we would need and showed us how all the electronics worked.
Our entire family (10) has resolved that they want to come back next year and we have already earmarked a date. The owners were really gracious and attentive to our needs. They answered all our questions and made our stay one of the best vacations ever.
There are many other facets of this home to be aware of, like the location, the excellent beach club, the Jack Nicklaus golf course with an unusual 3rd hole out to an island green, fishing and surfing nearby, and the amenities of the house such as a golf cart, ATV, superb BBQ, inside/outside showers in each bedroom and perfect weather.
The villa is graciously appointed, however it still feels very much like home. Our grandchildren ages 14, 13, 10 and 8 want to revisit it as much as we do.
