Welcome to Summer Hydrangea, quite possibly the finest property value for an exceptional summer rental in Chatham. Privacy, comfort and a thoughtful attention to details that is uncommon in most vacation rentals, all exists in abundance within this distinctive property. The three+ bedroom, 1 & ½ bath residence, that sleeps 6+, boasts outstanding amenities including a solarium with a generously sized hot-tub that overlooks the grounds that have been beautifully designed and are professionally maintained. This vacation home is minutes from the very heart of downtown Chatham yet just far enough away so that you can enjoy some wonderful seclusion from most everyone else who has come to town during your vacation stay.

The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed that sleeps two, a flat panel TV and abundant closet space.

The second bedroom, that is also on the first floor, also has a queen-sized bed that sleeps 2 and also has its own half bath.

The third bedroom on the second floor had two twin beds that sleeps two and its own skylight to enjoy the sea breezes.

The adjoining sitting room on the second level boasts classic modern furniture, an oversized flat panel TV, two wonderful skylights to let the light and breezes in and a convertible couch that can turn into a full sized bed in a pinch for unexpected or last minute guests.

For all bedrooms, there are window air conditioners that are installed in the summer months, for in the rare event that the cooling breezes from the Atlantic are not enough to maintain a comfortable environment in the bedrooms.

The efficient modern kitchen is well stocked with a wide variety of quality cooking utensils, a Keurig as well as a drip coffee maker, microwave, blender, dishwasher, and large refrigerator. The kitchen spice cabinet is also equipped with a variety spices, oils and seasonings that the owners regularly freshen and replenish. If you are looking to cook and entertain during your vacation stay, we are sure that the kitchen will prove to be more than up for your needs. There is also a large propane BBQ grill on the property to meet your needs for outdoor grilling while on vacation. If there is any additional specialty kitchenware that you may require, the owners should be able to accommodate your request within short order.

The main living room has comfortable seating, a stereo, numerous live plants and an oversized flat panel TV. The dining area easily seats six and the table expands to accommodate eight with available leaves. The main bathroom is beautifully designed with modern fittings, including a striking cobalt blue vessel sink and a hand crafted, stained glass window stunningly executed displaying a Hydrangea motif. Numerous live plants, antiques and furniture of uncommon quality and design fill this vacation home and enhance the experience of your stay in your new vacation home in Chatham. Comcast cable is wired to all televisions in the home and high speed wireless internet connectivity is available through the house, deck and grounds.

The home's attached solarium boasts an array of carefully tended live plants as well as an oversized 4 person hot tub that is serviced twice a week and kept sparklingly clean for your relaxation. You enter the solarium from the main family room of the house and, from there, you can walk out to the deck overlooking the spectacular back yard and gardens. If you have children who would like to play outdoors, the backyard leads to the additional quarter acre lot that is also beautifully planted and professionally maintained. The grounds would be the envy of any greensman and the owners hope that they work to make your stay at Summer Hydrangea that much the more enjoyable.

As many people who come to Chatham are interested in spending time at the many beaches in town, we provide a wonderful complement of beach chairs, beach umbrellas with sand anchors, coolers and a great array of beach toys for children. We have installed a tremendous oversized Mahogany outdoor shower, in the Cape Cod style, to make returning from the beach to be an easier affair.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying in this home at the Cape. Close to so many great restaurants (mom and pops burgers, Chatham Filling Station, Kream N Kone), beaches (Ridgevale and Red River, about 25min from Nauset), and things to do (rent paddle boards from the Pump House, visit downtown Chatham). The house was clean and Daniel was very attentive and responsive to our needs. It was well stocked with everything we could have needed and more. The hot tub certainly helped us make it through a dreary week with only a few “good” beach days. We would definitely stay here again!

The owner was simply fantastic, was extremely attentive and responsive, and had everything needed for a perfect vacation (linens, toilet tissue, coffee, creamer, charging stations, beach towels, beach chairs, etc.). We essentially needed only our clothes and our wallet. The house was great, perfect for our family, and made even better by the excellent service. The indoor hot tub was a real treat—a great way to wake up. If the rating scale was from 1-100, this would get a 100–and that’s no exaggeration.

A pleasure to deal with Dan at this lovely and well-equipped home. Everything you could ever need is there for a perfect Chatham vacation. Plenty of room for the 5-6 of us. The backyard and deck are the perfect place for quiet morning coffee and post-beach cocktails! Hope to be back!!

Summer Hydrangea was inviting, comfortable, unique with the amazing hot tub feature, quiet and private yard to relax, and the host Dan was an extremely hospitable host. The house was stocked with everything you could imagine and the entire upstairs was where our almost 7 year old daughter enjoyed her own space. I would recommend Summer Hydrangea for families or anyone at all looking for a spectacular location to beaches and shops. 5 stars all around- thank you Dan!!

We stayed at this property for 1 week with our family. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay extra special! They even brought our son a birthday cake! We truly couldn’t have asked for a better home always from home. They’ve thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable in their beautiful home. Our 2 children were extremely happy with “their” room and didn’t want to leave. We hope to visit again and would recommend staying here to anyone looking for high quality and thoughtful hosts! Can’t recommend enough!

The property is just perfect. Dan has thought of and supplied everything that you might want or need to have a wonderful, carefree vacation. The house is a short drive from beautiful swimming beaches and the charming center of Chatham. Dan is clearly an owner who takes great pride in keeping his property beautiful and his guests happy. We had a wonderful stay at Daniel's lovely home. The location is ideal, within easy walking distance to several restaurants and our favorite "everything store," Ocean Lots. Although located directly under the flight path to the Chatham airport, the planes fly only 7 a.m. to dusk. The home was so comfortable and sheets, towels and everything was of excellent quality. Daniel is an 5-star host and seems to truly enjoy answering questions. We had family come over twice and they enjoyed the backhard and indoor hot tub. We loved ending the day with a nice outdoot shower and a hot tub. Thank you for an amazing stay in Cape Cod!

We enjoyed our stay at Summer Hydrangeas. Beautiful beautiful house!!! Very nicely decorated with arts and gorgeous plants. The bedrooms have comfortable beds and very nice furniture. Dan and Cristen were so sweet and very helpful along the way (Thank you for everything!!!). They care so much about their guests. The house is fully equipped with everything and more. Dan and Cristen were very generous with amenities and everything is awesome quality. I don’t have to mention cleanliness. When we arrived we were welcomed with a beautiful bouquet of flower, nice playing soft music and a tour of the house. We enjoyed everything. The hot tub was awesome!! We used the fully equipped kitchen to cook diner. We played legos upstairs. There were plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas in the garage. The outdoor shower is seriously the best I ever seen. Dan and Cristen were so helpful with recommendations and local events going on. We had the best vacation in Cape Cod.

My wife and I and 2 younger daughters (7 and 10) loved this house! Our stay was perfect and Dan was the perfect host. He even offered to let us come in early to beat the holiday traffic which we did. It was our 1st time in Chatham and we loved it. We'll be back at this house for sure.

From the initial inquiry to the checkout process, Dan we incredible to deal with - prompt, informative and accommodating. The home was both comfortable and immaculately clean and Dan had made an effort to think of anything you might need, from basic kitchen tools, spices and other basics to spare toothbrushes and toothpaste etc. for anyone who forgot a key toiletry item. The location is great with a short drive (5 mins) or long walk (15-20mins) to Harding’s Beach and a two mile drive to town center. The living snd sleeping spaces were comfortable and spacious and the hot tub was a fun place to relax after a day at the beach. We highly recommend Dan’s home for anyone looking for this sized space in Chatham area.
