FYI...VRBO says .3 miles to nearest ski lift, but that's if you want to walk over to Silver Lake Village, but we just use our Ski Out trail that is only 250 feet away-the length of our neighbor's house! And our Ski In trail is the length of our neighbor's house on the other side of us! Very Close and Very Easy!
Our Private home is NOT a townhome or condominium. Most everything else in the Village is either a townhome or condominium with shared walls, a communal garage, or a private home without easy ski in/ski out access (like in The Knoll).
We have repeat families who have been coming to our home for many years. Everyone who has stayed in our home has loved our home, our very easy Ski In/Ski Out Access* and our PRIME location! After a great day of skiing, come home and soak in your own private hot tub, nestled within the Aspen trees and 100 foot Pine trees. You are surrounded by a stream that we leave running year round so you can listen to the soothing sound of the water while soaking in the hot tub after a long day of skiing (it really is peaceful and beautiful)! A totally different experience than staying in a condominium or town home where your hot tub is often times less than 10 feet away from your neighbor!
You cannot compare our private home with the many cheaper condominiums and town homes in the area...it is an entirely different experience to have your own private home that provides seclusion and open space! Comparable 4 bedroom properties in our area charge well over $5,000 nightly (Stage Lodge) over Holidays! A 4 bedroom at The Chateaux is $12,000 up to $15,000 NIGHTLY during the Holiday's! Stein Eriksen Residences is also over $11,000 nightly over the Holiday's.
Plus, because our neighbor purchased 2 lots and built their house on the lot farther away from our house, we have even more open space surrounding our home! This is why our home is so private!
If you do not want to utilize the ski access trail, we are only a four minute walk, that is, less than 1/4 mile to Silver Lake Village, where you can catch the Upper Deer Valley ski lifts and purchase tickets from the ticket office. In Silver Lake Village, you will also find many fabulous restaurants, including the World Renowned Stein Eriksen Lodge and Spa. Also available in the Silver Lake Village area are great shops and complimentary Deer Valley ski storage, which saves you the effort of carrying your skis back and forth! This is, of course, only if you choose not to use the ski access trail. We highly recommend you use the ski access trail, if you feel comfortable on trails, because it is so much more convenient and enjoyable!
With several boutique shops, restaurants and amenities in the area, one does not even need to leave the Silver Lake Village area! However, if you want to venture out, there is a Free Shuttle bus that will take you just about anywhere in Park City that you would like to go. Not only is Park City home to the Sundance Film Festival, but Park City's Main Street is filled with fine restaurants, quaint shops and chic galleries.
We have recently updated our home! The Master Bathroom has a New Contemporary Large 2 Person Bathtub, a Shower with dual heads New Tile & Double Vanity with New Granite and 2 New Square Sinks (The picture in the photos only shows the New Bathtub, not the New Shower & Vanities)! We also have 60” Smart TV's wall mounted in the Master Bedroom and the Guest Master Bedroom and a 65” Smart TV wall mounted in the Den/Media Room. The majority of the house is hard wood floors and stone in the entry!
We have such great reviews not only because of our prime location, but because we keep our house VERY CLEAN...this is NOT your normal rental with many renters in and out of it! This is our PRIMARY residence, so we keep it Exceptionally Clean!!! We usually rent 2 weeks around Christmas/Hanukkah, 2 weeks around President's Week and then if we go out of town other times during the ski season. Some years we have been gone the whole ski season, but this year we will probably only rent a few times, so with Covid-19, you don't have to worry about many families coming and going. We always do a Very Deep Clean before we rent so know that this is a MUCH safer choice than communal living in hotels in the area because it is your own private home that has been deep cleaned!
*Please note, ski access cannot be guaranteed in early and late Winter seasons due to unpredictable weather.
We want to work with our renters in case Covid impacts Deer Valley Ski Resort!
OUR OWNER REFUND POLICY with Covid. IF Deer Valley Ski Resort closes for any days during your stay, you will get a FULL REFUND for the number of days they are closed and you are not staying in our home (minus the 3% fee VRBO charges us on rent paid). If you are already staying in our home and then the Resort closes, you will be charged 100% for the days the resort was open during your stay and 50% for the days the resort is closed during your stay...and you are welcome to check out early and leave our home and you will get 97% refund (not 100% because VRBO charges us 3% on rent paid) on the rental nights you don’t use (this is only applicable if Deer Valley Resort closes during your stay and then has no intentions of reopening during your stay). However, you must vacate our home by our normal check out time of 10:00am to not be charged for that day/night. Any time you have stayed in our home (even if for only one night), the cleaning fee will not be returned. This refund ONLY applies to RENT paid. You will have to talk to VRBO to see what their refund policy is on taxes and their fees because as owners we have ABSOLUTELY no control over those charges. So this is your responsibility to determine what VRBO's policy will be with regards to Covid tax refunds as well as VRBO fee's.

• Condominiums, Townhomes and PUD’s: Black Bear Lodge, Cache, Double Eagle, Enclave, Little Belle, Lookout, Ontario Lodge, American Flag, Bellevue, Bellmont, Ridgepoint, Ridge, Royal Plaza, Silverbird, Sterling, Twin Pines.
This whole area is the HEART of Deer Valley and gives you the best on mountain ski experience. Silver Lake Village boasts some of the highest rated restaurants in all of Park City, not to mention the great boutique shops, The Spa at Stein Erickson Lodge and all the various amenities. Many of the properties in this area have Ski In/Ski Out Access. In addition, it is close to Park City’s Main Street. The only drawback to this area is that some of the older condominium complexes are dated.
2. Lower Deer Valley Includes:
• Many Private Homes (NONE of the homes in Lower DV have Ski In/Out Access.
• Condominiums, Townhomes & PUD’s: Aspenwood, Black Diamond Lodge, Boulder Creek, Chalet Montay, Chaparral, Comstock Lodge, Courchevel, Daystar, Deer Lake Village, Fawngrove, Foxglove, Glenfiddich, Greyhawk, In The Trees, Lakeside, Lodges at Deer Valley, Oaks at Deer Valley, Pinnacle, Portico, Powder Run, Red Stag Lodge, Silver Baron Lodge, Stonebridge and Sunspot (but the ONLY condominiums with Ski In/Ski Out Access are Black Diamond Lodge, Pine Inn & Trails End).
Like Upper Deer Valley, Lower Deer Valley is closer to Park City’s Main Street. The downside is it has VERY FEW properties with Ski In/Ski Out Access and some of the older properties are dated. Plus, the only restaurant in the area is in the St. Regis and you have to take the tram to get to it. Otherwise you have to drive or take the bus to Park City’s Main Street for restaurants, shops or amenities.
3. Empire Pass Includes:
• Private Homes
• Condominiums, Townhomes & PUD’s: Arrowleaf, Grand Lodge, Ironwood, Larkspur Townhomes, Northside Village, Shooting Star and Silverstrike Lodge.
The good part about Empire Pass is that many of the properties have Ski In/Ski Out Access and it is a newer area. The bad part is that it is more isolated and difficult to get to (particularly in a snow storm!) and it is far away from everything! At this time, there is only the Montage restaurants nearby. In addition, the majority of their condominiums are more like hotel room/apartment buildings.
4. Deer Crest Includes:
• Mostly Private Homes
• Not many Condominiums or Townhomes in this area & The St. Regis Hotel
Most of the properties have Ski In/Ski Out access and if you are looking for a really large home, this is an option. However let us tell you why it is our least favorite part of Deer Valley. It is far from everything and the only restaurant nearby is The St. Regis. The snow is questionable and the freeway noise from the 40 detracts from the ski experience.

7 of us (two families) stayed a week at this beautiful house. It was true ski-in ski-out, and the house was immaculate. The hosts were very communicative each step of the way (proactive as well as responsive). This price is quite fair per-person for what you're actually getting. We would definitely recommend this house again, and we may come back another year.

Deer Valley is definitively our favorite ski resort in the US and it was great to be able to find such a cool house with ski-in/ski-out. The 3 levels make for great private space for different families and the kitchen is very well stocked for a rental property, making stay home cooking a pleasure.

Family, including young children, stayed for a great week at this property. Clean, well-stocked home with up-to-date modern amenities that was better than advertised, with great space for hanging out as a family -- meals, games, hot tub, TV, etc. - along with a really nice master suite and spacious mudroom/garage area for all the gear.
Ideally located, super easy to ski in and out (even with small kids) off of Carpenter/Homestake lifts; plus short walk to Silver Lake lodge area.
Suzanne and Brad were extremely accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed.
Can't wait to be back!

Lovely home in a great location
We had the pleasure of staying in Suzanne and Brad's home over spring break. I have to say of the many times we've stayed in Deer Valley this property was definitely our favorite. The home is lovely, well equipped and beautifully decorated. The owners are so accommodating and thoughtful. They even left two kinds of coffee and a bottle of wine on the counter for us. The kitchen is organized and well stocked. We typically eat lunch somewhere on the mountain but it was so easy to ski back to the house that several times we returned home to fix a sandwich and take a short break before heading back down the easily accessible ski-out trail. We also loved the outdoor hot tub and the steam shower upstairs....everything we needed for our overworked muscles after a day on the slopes! I also have to mention the beds which are super comfortable and felt amazing to climb into after a day of skiing. In the morning we would open the shades, watch it snow and try to convince ourselves to get moving. It was tough to leave those comfy beds! We would definitely rent this beautiful home again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to spend their time in Deer Valley.

Wonderful, well-stocked home
We had a great family ski trip over winter break. I traveled with my husband, our two teenage kids and my mother. We loved the house and each had our own space. The pantry was well-stocked with staples for cooking (plenty of spices and cookware). It was an easy walk to the entry slope to Deer Valley Resort, and equally simple to get home at the end of the day. The enormous fireplace in the living room was put to good use. The home is immaculate and the owners were friendly and easy to reach.

A wonderful place for a winter holiday!
Suzanne and Brad have a warm and welcoming home that we were grateful to be able to use over the new year's holiday week. It's well equipped, comfortable and great for ski access. Many reviews have described their home well. We highly recommend using Amanda, the massage therapist who Suzanne shared with us.

Owner Suzanne was always incredibly responsive in advance of our stay and always accessible. Our family had an amazing vacation. Great location where you can ski in/out within half a block walk (super easy and convenient). Sheets and linens were brand new. Kitchen was fully equipped and master bath was brand new. We have three kids (ages 3-11) who all enjoyed playing in the snow (in areas next to property) after a day of skiing. Very private. Highly recommended.

Stunningly beautiful, well appointed house
Stunningly beautiful, well appointed house that made us feel like we were in our own home (I still wish it was mine!). Brad and Suzanne left no stone unturned with this home and helped to make our stay amazing and as easy as possible. The home is spacious, but feels intimate and has all the modern conveniences of a super duper high-end ski chalet--super stocked kitchen, quality linens, private hot tub, amazing sound system and modern technology throughout. The location is perfect; its close to the mtn and town, not to mention the perfect reverse commute for Sundance Film Festival traffic, phew! We loved every minute of our stay, just wish that we had more time to enjoy the home. Suzanne and Brad are the nicest people and this was one of the greatest overall rental experiences we've had. Great House, great location!
We had a great trip and the 30+ inches of snow was nice too! This house is a fantastic location, just a short walk to ski-in and ski-out or Silver Lake. The home was well equipped, much more so than most rentals we have stayed in. The home was spacious and very comfortable. The owners were lovely and super helpful. We will look to stay here again in the future!

Perfect family ski vacation home
We stayed in this wonderful home for a week with our 3 kids. Suzanne has thought of everything that you may need during your stay. The kitchen is stocked with all you need to cook. The ski in/ski out is great - just a short walk across the street and then your skis go on. The hot tub was a nice treat after a day of skiing (and the bubbling stream adds a nice touch!). All the sheets and towels were really nice - there is even shampoo/conditioner/body soap in the bathrooms. We enjoyed sitting by the fireplace every night. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful ski in/out private home!
Suzanne and Brad were amazing to rent from! We were nervous coming out due to lack of natural snow fall and warmer weather which is very rare for the time of year. Suzanne went above and beyond putting our minds at ease to assure their ski access trail was indeed usable by having their son walk the trail and send photographs. She sent us snow reports and called neighbors to get accurate details for us. She truly put our minds at ease and we had an amazing time! The ski access trails are easy to find and require a very short walk in your ski boots (length of 1-2 homes depending on direction) which excited us. We hate walking in ski boots! The home is absolutely beautiful and it felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed the hot tub outside with snow all around us and listened to the stream. Truly relaxing! You are close to great food and Suzanne/Brad are happy to share their favorites with you! Highly recommend this property any time of the year and you will never find a nicer couple to rent from! We will absolutely come back! Thank you!

Beautiful house in Silverlake
Its exactly like the pictures, only better in real life. Great t o sit around the family room with the family, enjoying the fireplace. A quality kitchen that makes it fun and enjoyable to cook. Hot tub after skiing is awesome. Being able to walk to Silverlake lodge, restaurants, etc. is a treat. Would recommend to anyone without hesitation.

Great Home and Location! Date of Stay- August 12, 2017
Thanks so much for the awesome experience my family and I had renting your home this summer! Most of our meals where spent around your fire pit listening to the stream...We accessed the Mountain Bike and hiking trails right out your door. It was great starting out Mid Mountain instead of at the bottom as we have in the past. We hope to see you this winter!

We have been coming to Deer Valley for 14 years with our family and your house was by the best place we've stayed...which is why we came back this summer! Our kids had a wonderful time in your spa by the stream surrounded by all the trees! Your home is so beautiful, clean and the kitchen has everything one could hope for...so many extras we've never had in other properties! We love the privacy and the on mountain location of your home and Silver Lake Village really is hands down the best area to stay in Deer Valley! Wow! We never would have believed it, but your home is even more fabulous in the Summer. We had so much fun eating dinner around your fire pit while listening to the stream…it was so relaxing, we never wanted to leave! As you know, my parents also booked your house for our family Spring ski vacation. What a wonderful vacation it was in your perfect home tucked into the woods! We enjoyed the great access to the ski slopes and fine dining. My mom especially enjoyed being so close to the Stein Eriksen Spa! Our kids loved spending time in the jacuzzi and playing in the snow after ski school. We also loved relaxing by the fireplace in the evenings. We hope to return every year we loved it so much!

Beautiful Home with Great Ski Access!
Thank you for our fabulous stay in your beautiful home! We all loved the ski access and being close to all of the great restaurants in Silverlake Village. We also really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and listening to the stream after skiing.
