Our beautiful lake front property has been recently renovated and is ready for your visit!
Plan a family gathering, corporate retreat or group outing...just a short drive from the DFW Metroplex. This property offers a private boat ramp on a large quiet cove, perfect for water sports or just enjoying the beautiful view. The area attracts ducks, cranes & other wildlife, as well as good fishing.
There is a boat slip with cradle available that accommodates a 24-foot v-hull boat. There are tie-ups for pontoon boats or jet skis on the outside of the boat slip, as well as bumpers all around.
The main house has 5 bedrooms (3 with queen beds, one with a twin over double bunk bed, & one with 4 single bunk beds) and 2.5 bathrooms, all remodeled as of February 2021. The guest house has a twin over double bunk bed & a half bath.
The living room has a large screen TV with cable service that includes many popular sports channels. There is also free internet service.
The kitchen has granite countertops & new appliances, including microwave, double oven with cooktop, dishwasher & refrigerator. The large 2 level deck, with gazebo, offers lots of seating, a charcoal grill & a dining table for outdoor entertaining.
The separate game room has a pool table, a foosball table and a large patio offering a place to party, so the main house remains quiet.
Other amenities include beautiful sunrises, good fishing, an outdoor solar shower and a 3-person kayak. Enjoy the scenery from the covered boat dock or the party deck. The hammock and fire pit provide the perfect place to relax at the end of the day.

In summary, we had a great time at Gary and Pam's lake home. Plenty of room, inside and out, for my family of seventeen. Only eight slept over for two nights. The rest of my family drove in each day with a reasonable commute. I did not anticipate all the commuters vice sleep overs. We kayaked (used our equipment), used the recreation and guest house, fished, played games on the spacious lawn areas, used the kitchen facilities which had ample space for 4 cooks in the kitchen, plenty of dishes and utensils. We were not missing anything and picked up ice and sodas at the Dollar store s down the road less than ten miles. Most of our group time was spent outside but we were pleased on the hot days when it was nice and cool inside with the A/C set at 75.
Upon departure , we followed the list of instructions and:
Swept the house, cleaned up kitchen and turned dishwasher on with last load, cleaned out refrigerator/freezer, unplugged coffee pots, washed one load of towels and dried, stacked chairs on deck under gazebo, turned off all lights and fans, closed drapes, set all A/C units to 82 degrees, cleaned grill, locked up rec and game house, carried out all trash and put out trash bin for pickup, turned on/set house alarm and locked keypad on front door. (items that we did not use listed in check out instructions, are not listed here).

We had a fantastic time at Cedar Creek Lake for our small family reunion! Plenty of space for everyone and there was something for everyone in the family to enjoy throughout our weekend stay! We hope to come back next year! From the entire Cobb Family, thank you Gary and Pam!

We had a crew of 13 people (7 adults and 6 kids--ages 12-18). everyone had their own space with the kids sharing the bunk house and traditional bunk room. The game room was a huge hit for the kids and adults. the deck space was awesome with tons of chairs--as was the dock!
Wish it had one more full bath, but we made up for it with the outside shower--that came in very handy! The only real feedback that I have for anyone looking to stay here is to make sure you bring kitchen towels/rags if you don't want to go through tons of paper towels or wash often. Otherwise, it was well appointed and had all we needed.
The location in the cove makes for great swimming and paddle boarding/kayaking. So much calmer than around the corner on the lake. We caught a ton of fish right off the dock, so if you like to fish, bring the poles. There are neighbors on both sides that live or stay there often who were very cordial with us as well.
Pam was a great host. Her directions were easy to follow before and during the stay.
I would recommend to anyone looking for a large enough property to house multiple families or large gatherings.

This stay was very pleasant. The house is absolutely beautiful and spacious. My family enjoyed the kayak and lake toys. The kids swam in the lake. Others sat around the gazebo just relaxing. I had the most fun relaxing in the hammock. Just a lovely vacation. Now, my family members wants to move to Texas. I enjoyed working with the Owners. Very sweet, friendly lady. Thank you for lending us your amazing home.

We were a group of friends with several kids between six and one year old. The plan was simple: relax by the lake, grill, cook a paella, and enjoy some family and friends time. The house and lake are beautiful and quite, and it made the plan easy. There were plenty of lawn chairs and accessories to help us have a great time. Each night, once the kids were in bed, we sat around the fire and get a very well deserved break. The rooms and beds were all comfortable, the kitchen fully equipped, and water related goods in perfect condition. We will certainly come back.

Our short little getaway to celebrate my daughter’s 17th birthday as the dancing queen turned out fantastic she loved the house and the scenery. Our family enjoyed the deck and my son enjoyed fishing. Thank you for allowing us into your home and staying.

The house was perfect for our large group. Plenty of room for all, great kitchen, beautiful views of water, nice deck with great rocking chairs. The water was enjoyable, however, the bottom is all mud and that did deter some from swimming so we rented a boat. You might want to keep a broom and some wasp spray down at the dock. Many spider webs and lots of wasps. We knocked down the webs and bought wasp spray. The only other thing is that we never found a paddle boat. We saw it in the pictures and in The ad, but I assume it is no longer at the lake. All in all, I would definitely return for vacation.

We had a group of 16 the house accommodated us well! The host had everything we needed. We had a great time on the lake and the game room was a hit with everyone. We also enjoyed the use of the kayak! We enjoyed Beautiful sunsets on a huge deck,the fire pit for s’mores and and the hammock to relax in. Pictures are accurate property is well kept.

What a great property and beautiful view! It truly reflected it’s name “Tranquillity Cove” every morning & late evening. But the teenagers woke it all up when they got going! The best compliment was when the teenagers said “We’re doing this every year! Right?!” This was a very special family time!

Family trip for 12. Our stay was amazing. The house was clean, nicely appointed and spacious. Lots of outdoor space to play, fish and hangout. Kids enjoyed the kayak. We had fish fry, grilled and made s'mores on fire pit. There was ample indoor and outdoor seating for the 12 of us. Plenty of parking. Close to Canton for those that wanted to go to Trade Days.
Owner was easy to reach for questions and VERY accomodating. Hope stay here again next year.

We stayed for Labor Day weekend. We had six adults and seven kids ranging from 5–16. We had a great time! The house was the perfect t size and allowed us all to enjoy a great weekend together.

In spite of the low lake level, our family had a great time. Pam, was very responsive, and answered all of our questions. The game room was enjoyed by all, and we were able to enjoy the kayak. The backyard is perfect for playing games, and we look forward to our next visit.

Family vacation
Had a great time and enjoyed our stay immensely. Although the lake level was low due to this year’s drought, our grandkids had a great time utilizing the property’s paddle boat, kayak and game room. The family corn hole and pool tournaments were a blast. Very quite area on the lake and definitely recommend.

Great stay for large family
We had a wonderful time at the lake house! This house is perfect for large families, the extra game room and guest house are wonderful additions for a large family like ours. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely. We fished off the dock and caught quite a few catfish. We rented a boat down the road and enjoyed tubing. Pam is very responsive and helpful. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you may need. We did run to dollar general to pick up extra dish towels, ziplock bags, and paper towels but this house everything you need! We would definitely return!

The Perfect Gathering Place
This home served as the perfect gathering place for our large family. There was room for us all to be together to visit and catch up on each other’s lives as well as spread out and do our own thing. We ate, swam, fished, rode jet skis, played games and loved every minute of it. The owner was always quick to respond to my questions. Thank you for the memories!

Family Getaway
We had a great time both at the house and the lake. The water level was really low this year so we swam at a really nice swimming area that was about 5 minutes away by boat or by car. The boat slip and lift at the house were perfect for our bass boat and we even caught some fish (and an unlucky turtle) from the boathouse. The boathouse was in great condition as well. The main house, guest house, and game room were all very clean and comfortable. The living area was a little smaller than I expected, but our large group never felt crowded. The kitchen was well stocked but we did run to the dollar general for dish towels. The double oven and 5 burner stove in the kitchen were perfect for cooking for our large group. This was a GREAT house and we had a very memorable trip.

Great Weekend

Long Weekend
This property is in a great location and well maintained. Our long weekend was mostly spent outside on the lawn and on the lake as the weather was great. Inside accommodations were great as well, just not used as much.

Lots of space
This house was perfect for our group, 3 families. The house was very clean and all had plenty of room to spread out. The boat house/dock worked out great for the two boats we brought and the kids loved the shallow waters just off shore. The game room was a big hit at night.

Excellent Lake House for Large Family
We truly enjoyed our stay at the lake house. Pam was an excellent host and maintained excellent communication throughout the process. There are plenty of sleeping quarters for people of all ages. The access to the lake, the boat dock, and the spacious outside made this a wonderful getaway for our large family. If there was a downside, I would say that people who are particular about mattresses may find a bed or two to be less than ideal. Otherwise, the home is well stocked, has a wonderful setting (semi-private), and has numerous extras to keep the family entertained.

Amazing place for the family
This property is so amazing that this was our fourth year returning! Perfect location on the water: in a quiet, large cove where our kids can swim without boat traffic or we can tube and ski without wind or traffic. The house is clean and organized. Great size for our 5 families to hang out inside playing board games or on the porch at nights, pool tournaments in the game rooms, watching boat tubers off the top decks, and toasting marshmallows on the fire pit.

This was the perfect place for a long weekend with family. The kitchen was a great size for cooking. The outdoor area had lots of room for playing and plentiful seating. There was plenty of seating inside as well. The game room was a great bonus! I would stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

Great family gathering
The house was exactly like the listing except there have been some updates to baths and kitchen. The baths with showers did have a hall door which was great for out 15 family members. The large deck and lake side is where we spent most of the time. Sunsets were beautiful. There was also plenty of parking and the boat ramp was a wonderful bonus. The little kids loved taking rides on the paddle boat. The only thing we wish was better was more / bigger pots and pans. We cooked every meal and with large groups we had to use all the pots they had. It was a great family gathering house.

This home has everything you could possibly need! Pam was accommodating and made sure that our experience was only the best. We spent our evenings outside enjoying the deck and fishing. Fantastic lake house
We had a great time spending the weekend at the lake house. The updated kitchen and bathrooms were very nice. We especially enjoyed the outdoor features - the large dock for our boat, nice grassy area, and the fire pit. We had a such a fun time and would definitely return.

Great place, great hosts
Our family much enjoyed our stay at the Log Cabin. The outdoor view and yard to the lake were superb. Our family enjoyed each night around the fire pit, and Pam and her husband were great property managers and hosts, and so easy to work with and accomodate our requests. Thank you!

Kitchen is as nicely equipped for us to cook and grill out for the whole weekend. The location is remote enough for a get away but still close enough if you need to run into town. Peaceful & Beautiful
Staying here at the beginning of Fall (early October) was perfect. Weather was beautiful, property's location was awesome, and the views were just beautiful. Whether it was kayaking on the calm water that led to beautiful nature trips across the cove, watching the sunrise or moon rise over the water, it was all peaceful and relaxing. Catching fish from the boat dock (4yr old granddaughter caught her first fish on her b-day), birdwatching, cornhole, pool, foosball, there was always something to do (if you wanted to). Great location, great house, we had 8 people and didn't even use one bedroom or the guest house, so ample space for large families! We'll be back!
