Welcome to Tanglewood #23. City of Parksville business license #00005783. (Approved for allowing short-term rentals) This luxurious all-level 3-bedroom condo is in the Tanglewood Beach Homes complex. Pacific Tide Beach House has beautiful ocean views and is steps away from Rathtrevor Beach in Parksville on beautiful Vancouver Island. Centrally located, this is the perfect home base for your Vancouver Island holiday. Unwind beachside, set your own pace... leave all notion of day-to-day hustle and bustle behind and settle in and enjoy your relaxation in our luxuriously appointed vacation home. There is an indoor pool next door to the resort available for a daily fee. The ocean water is warm in the summer months and perfect for walking through tide pools.
This spacious and open, 1200 sq. ft. luxury vacation condo unit features a fabulous ocean and beach view from both the bedroom and living areas. Step out onto the large semi-private green space overlooking the ocean just outside the patio door to further enjoy the spectacular views. The unit is professionally designed and decorated. It features a full gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Ideally sized for families or for two or three couples sharing, you will find all the comforts of home. The master bedroom offers a KING size bed and a full Ensuite bathroom with separate shower, bath tub and heated tile floors. The second bedroom features a QUEEN size bed and the 3rd bedroom features 2 Twin beds. There is also a Queen sofa bed in the living room for additional guests.

Pacific Tides Beach House was the perfect home-away-from-home for our family holiday. There was plenty of space for all seven of us - baby, toddlers, parents and grandparents - to relax and have fun together. All amenities were provided in the sparkling clean condo. Easy access to the beach and a quiet, grassy area and patio to enjoy the spectacular view. There was even a bottle of wine and chocolates waiting for us. Many thanks to our host, Janice, for creating a space & place for an unforgettable family holiday.

We stayed here for our first 2 nights on Vancouver Island. We really enjoyed our stay and loved the location. There was everything we needed and being so close to the beach was great with our 2 year old. It’s on a very quiet well kept development and close to all of Parksville’s amenities. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a fabulous reunion of our elderly mother and her 4 daughters from all different locations in BC. This suite is beautiful and had everything we needed. We toured Englishman River Falls, Coombs, as well as Parksville and Qualicum. Mom managed to walk down the steep hill to the beach with her walker! (We drove down to pick her up on the return trips to the beach).We went to Aioli's Seafood restaurant, always a favourite and tried Shady Rest Restaurant, a 99 year old historical landmark, located right at the beach in Qualicum with excellent seafood and beautiful ocean view. Did some shopping. Played games and cards. It was very peaceful in early October, without the summer crowds. A real plus. The only problem we had was that the door code had been changed so we couldn't get in, but with a quick phone call we were informed of the new code, and entered right away. The other thing about the listing is that it didn't note there were 7 stairs to enter the suite, so do take note if walking up and down stairs are a concern you. Our mother is a trooper and managed all the stairs for daily outings. As well, there is a step down from the patio door onto the patio facing the beach. All in all, we had a great experience and would love to return again next year! Many thanks for sharing your home!

We had a wonderful time in Parksville! The condo was beautiful and very well supplied with everything we needed. The large windows let the sunshine in and i loved the wondow seat!

Janice is a great host. Very communicative and easy to work with. This was our second year staying in this unit and we love it. Ground level with grass for the kids to play, the unit is simply decorated and has all the things you need without being cluttered. We’re excited to return again.

Enjoyed our stay, the backyard was lovely with ample room for dining and BBQ'ing. The rooms were nicely decorated, and the host thought of everything, including first aid kits and ample towels. A short walk to a peaceful beach. We were very satisfied and would love to come back for a longer stay!

We really enjoyed our stay, great location, lots of room & supplies. A couple of minor issues that are easily fixable, such as the toilet acting up in the master bath, ice maker didn’t work well in the fridge. A little disappointed that the lawn in the backyard wasn’t cut while we were there (it definitely needed it). Overall, great unit in a great location. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at another Tanglewood unit last year but this was a definite upgrade. About a two minute walk to the beach. Spacious and flexible bed arrangements for a large family like ours.
Private patio, nice green view from the master bedroom too, can see the beach from the patio.

Absolutely loved our week at this property. The view is great for the morning sunrises and a 2 min walk and you are on the beach or trails at Rathtrevor Park. The condo is very clean and comfortable.

We stayed at Janice's place with our 2 school age children. It is a fantastic location and everything you need is provided in the unit. We especially loved access to the lawn out back for the kids to play games and easy access to the beach just down the hill. Janice is easy to communicate with and a lovely host. We are looking forward to a return visit!

Beautiful place to stay
The ocean view is so nice and the yard space is even better. We were able to get our friends to rent the place right beside this one and we shared the yard. The kids played outside all the time, it was great.

Great Family Vacation
Really enjoyed the property & the access to the beach & tide pools. All hikes & other activities were within a 30 min ute drive.

A relaxing stay
Our group had a nice, relaxing stay at Tanglewood Place. The property was spacious and comfortable. We loved the view of the beach from the living and dining room windows. Next time we’re in Parksville, we would definitely love to stay here again.

Parksville luxury stay
We stayed for 4 days in May 2022. The unit is impeccably clean and well equipped. Sit in the living room and get a decent ocean view or take a 3 minute walk and you are on the beach. The beach is very walkable and there is a parallel path thru the tall trees in the park, very nice. Bedding are not notch, very helpful hosts, what else do you need!

Moms getaway
3 friends stayed at Janice’s townhome. Great location close to tigh na mara spa. We thoroughly enjoyed the dip and dine tapa experience. Amazing beach steps away and a short drive to coombs market. So many options. Janice was responsive and gave great recommendations. I will likely stay again. Would recommend.

Three Generations
The property was everything we could have wanted. Communication was easy and clear. The house was well set up and very comfortable. To sum it up, my granddaughter said, "I don't know why we don't do this more often!" A marvelous time was had by the two Grandmothers, the two daughters and the two granddaughters. We will try and book again!

Great Stay
We were a group of mature women who thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The property is roomy and nicely decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped. The fireplace adds great ambiance and warmth at this time of year (November) The view is lovely. The location is excellent for wandering down to the beach or accessing many wonderful trails in the area. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it to others.

Great rental, exceptional service
My family is 4 stayed in this rental for 4 nights in November and everything was amazing. The beach was empty and we had decent weather considering it was November. Communication with Janice was speeding and exceptional. The place was exactly what we expected and worked well for us. Janice had everything we needed. Our daughters didn’t want to leave. We would definitely recommend this rental to others and would love to stay again!

Great location and great condo!
Had a wonderful couple days staying here. Kitchen is well stocked with good utensils and appliances. Overall size and layout of the condo was great, and just a 2 minute walk to the beach! Would definitely recommend.

Perfect Family Holiday
Everything about our visit was perfect, especially the proximity to the beach. We had to drag our granddaughters home at the end of every day. We also did some cycling and golfing and there were lots of great options for both. We will recommend this property to our friends.

A perfect vacation
This is a wonderful place that we would definitely stay at again. The unit is spacious, and had everything we could want - Janice even left us some bubbles and sand buckets for the kids! What a lovely and thoughtful touch. The dining area also has french doors that open directly to the patio and a grassy backyard, which our kids played in while we BBQ'd. It's not right on the beach, but it's only a short walk down a hill that our 2.5 year old was able to walk down and up on his own without difficulty. We highly recommend this to anyone considering it.
