The home is gorgeous, clean and beautifully decorated. It is located perfectly at the top of Ski Mountain. In the morning a mama bear and 4 cubs came out of the forest and played right below the deck for over an hour. The upstairs is a whole separate living space and is so nice. Definitely a great place!

This is a fantastic place to stay while visiting Gatlinburg. We were able to enjoy the attractions and return to a beautiful, peaceful sanctuary with gorgeous views. The only thing we didn't like was leaving!

This is by far one of the most picturesque homes I’ve stayed in. The views from the back balcony are incredible. Both the sunset and the sunrise were beyond words. You are at the top of the mountain and get views not like many others. We were greeted in the morning by a family of bears, which gave us quite the show. The property manager was incredible to work with. She was very communicative (clear on directions, quick response, wonderful to work with) couldn’t ask for anything better. The home was great. The space was perfect for our family and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to visit the area.

Very nice property with spectacular views. The property was very clean and well kept. The upstairs sweet is really nice with plenty of room and great view. We plan on staying here again if we visit gatlinburg.

Sandy was very welcoming and helpful. The home is absolutely gorgeous. Great for entertainment. Make sure to bring your 4x4 . The home is perfectly located at the very top of the Smokey mountains . Right outside of Gatlinburg.

We spent the day in Knoxville visiting our grandkids and then drove here to spend the night before driving home. A couple of our adult children came with us so they could see their nephews. The house was beautiful, clean and had breathtaking views. The size was perfect with the primary suite being upstairs so we all had our space. Check In was one of the easiest I have experienced. We will be back when we can spend more than 1 night.

Yes, the drive up is a mountain drive.. steep, twisty, crazy. Its fun. Go slow, you're fine. ITS WORTH IT!!! I have been staying at cabins and chalets in Gatlinburg for 3 decades. Never, ever have I had a view like this... the photos on the website do not do it justice. We had a momma and cub visit every evening between 7 and 9 pm. We watched them safely from the back deck (PLENTY hugh enough for safe bear watching!) The bed was the most comfortable. The kitchen was amazingly stocked with every dish, utensil, small appliance, even spices, and coffee. The jacuzzi in the master was PERFECT after days of hiking. The homeowners were amazingly attentive to messages, with quick and friendly responses. We loved our stay and will not only return, we will recommend this chalet to others.

I stayed with my husband and two children. We have rented many places to stay for years throughout the area including pricey three story cabins. We were always searching for beautiful views. If you do not mind a steep drive this place has it. All of the extras that you are looking for in the kitchen are there too! The chalet did not disappoint! We were also excited to see a juvenile bear come up from down the mountain in the back yard. We are already planning to come back.

A great home away from home, I loved the decor and they have everything you needed. The road is STEEP, but the view is priceless. Saw a baby bear in the backyard and everynight you can see the fireworks and the drone show from Dollywood! It was one of the nicest places we have stayed! Thank you for having us!

The view is our top priority when staying anywhere in the mountains . Just amazing! I think the photos on the site should show the view with some of the bacony, so you know, yes, that is the acual view. Many will post mountain views and it can be deceiving as it could be any mountain pic. Let the viewer know, this view is directly from the deck. Stayrd in alot of vrbos and this is at the top!

Our stay was great at this chalet. It had everything we needed for our quick trip and some of the best kitchen supplies I’ve seen in any vacation rental. My 3 kids loved the upstairs space and took it as their own for the weekend. With games to play, a magical view, and comfy beds, we had a great trip. The mountain roads are steep with sharp turns, so be ready for that. We’ve stayed in similar places before so it wasn’t any worse than most others at the top of the mountains…and the views are always best from way up! We’d stay here again on a future trip without hesitation.

We had a fabulous time. The views were amazing, the house was clean and cozy. We felt comfort immediately upon opening the door. The beds we comfortable, there was quality furnishings and easy accessibility to everything. I will recommend this location to all my family, friends and co workers.

It's a No for me. The property was very nice. The kitchen was well equipped with any dish & seasoning you would need. It was the location. When we somewhere we like to enjoy house & town. The drive up to this location was not what i was expecting. It was up very steep narrow roads. I know almost all roads in the mountains are narrow but this was different than what i had experienced before. It was raining & foggy until visibility was unsafe to my family & I. So we only stayed 1 night & I checked out the next day & got a different place. Again not the owner fault just my opinion from my stay. The owners was very nice. I also love that they have a book that you can write in & leave a message for them & other visitors.

We absolutely loved this place! My children enjoyed the views so much that they didn’t want to leave the house. There were so many great things to do - just at the house, especially when we discovered the telescope! It was such a great experience. The host was so helpful with our travels and communicated so well with us about everything we needed. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away to the mountains.

We booked it for our 33rd anniversary. To start with the view was breathe taking. We sat on the deck in the morning watching the sunrise coming up over the mountain. It was awesome. This place is at the top of a mountain. The road ends here and yet close to the Gatlinburg strip and close to the National Forrest. Very clean and upscale. Would highly recommend this place.

Cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in! Decor is very dated and could use some modernization, but that’s not really a big deal. Lots of modern appliances and little extras in the kitchen, which we used more than we thought we would due to the weather (it rained the whole time we were in town). But the absolute BEST thing about this place is that VIEW! Incomparable, truly! We will definitely be back to this area!
