About this house rental

Our cottage is on the edge of the lake so you can enjoy fishing, kayaking or just a stroll through the wooded neighborhood. Hot Springs is only a beautiful 20 minute drive away (this is approximate).

When you walk in the front door, the wall of windows in the living/dining area give a beautiful view of the lake; SMART TV in living area as well as a DVD player and movies. The kitchen is just off the living/dining area with all the amenities for making a nice meal. The bathroom/shower is just off the kitchen as well as the bedroom that has a queen size Arkansas cedar made bed. SMART TV & DVD player are provided in bedroom. We also provide some games and things for children in the cabinet below the kitchen bar.

Upstairs in our Logan's loft has an Arkansas cedar made trundle bed which can make into full size bed or two separate twin beds. A dresser and bench are also provided. SMART TV located in bedroom.

Update to our Smoking policy as of 9-11-20 - we are now allowing smoking outside only (cigarettes, cigars, vaping only). We do have an ash tray on the porch to dispose of cigarette/cigar butts. There is still NO SMOKING allowed inside the cottage - if there is any evidence of smoking (smell, burns, etc.) inside the cottage, there will be additional charges including carpet steam cleaning.

We do accept small dogs- if you have a larger animal please get approval before booking. Our pet fee is $30 per pet per night. If you are bringing a service animal please notify us.

A boat ramp is located between this cottage and the big 2-story house next door. Guests are allowed to utilize the boat ramp which is private to our own guests as well as the boat dock that is behind the 2-story house. (NOTE - we do allow our guests from other cottages to launch their boat) - Please do not park on the ramp.

Please do not remove the rocking chairs from the front porch. We can provide outdoor chairs upon request - contact management.

We do have a portable fire pit that can be moved around. Bring your own firewood.

If you use grill, please remember to remove the cover before lighting AND allow to cool before replacing the cover. Please be courteous and clean the grill before turning off. Bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid.

Please note - Lake Hamilton is regulated by Entergy therefore we have no control over debris/trash that may float into cove. Also, this lake is lowered around the first of November to allow for owners to make repairs to docks/seawalls & to control algae. The lake is brought back up around the first of March.

With the permission of Cheryl, I booked this cottage for my adult daughter and a few of her friends. They had nothing but positive things to say about the coziness of the cottage, its serene location, and the kindness of their host, Cheryl. She was easy to communicate with (for both my daughter and self) and very accommodating. If you’re looking for a relaxing, quiet stay in the Hot Springs area, we would definitely recommend this place!

This was an amazing place. Cheryl and Tim are super nice and was willing to help us with anything we needed. They had helpful tips and phone numbers to places we might want to rent from or visit. A huge shoutout to them!! Thank yall so much for having us as guests.

Cheryl and Tim are so awesome! The house is perfect and had everything we needed and more. Beds are comfy and the kitchen is well stocked. They let us tie our boat to their boathouse.. which is right behind the house! We will definitely be coming back!!

From the start the owners were very helpful with all of our questions. The cottage was perfect for our little family of four with everything we needed. We loved all the stocked toiletries and coffees! The beds/bedding were very cool and comfortable. This cottage had all the modern amenities furnished in it to be able to relax and cook all meals, the board games were a nice touch. It was very nice to have a private boat ramp to launch our boat on the property and private dock to tie our boat up too. Fishing right off the dock with a coffee in the early morning or a cold beer in the evening was the best! And our fur babies had a blast chasing squirrels and even had a welcome letter and treat for them which was so cute! We will for sure be back soon!

Beautiful forest and abundance of water ! Though we fished and caught no fish we were delighted to be there and have the lake to discover the beauty of Lake Hamilton; breathtaking views from the cabin ! Forest has a vast amount of birds each with individual sounds! Would recommend this location and cabin.

The location was peaceful and quiet. Everything you could need was there. The couch was not very comfortable and way too many plug-in air fresheners for a small place. But overall a nice place to stay and get away.

Relaxing place to unwind. Close enough to Hot Springs for any thing you want to see, do, and eat but far enough to escape the world. Very clean and modern cottage with unbeatable lake access. Ramp was a little tricky for novice trailer backer uppers but doable. Weather didn’t cooperate but it’s spring in Arkansas so whatcha going to do. Plenty of movies to watch. Loves our stay!!!

We had a fun weekend. The area that the cottage is located in is very neat and perfect if you have a boat as it’s in a cove off of the main lake. The cottage was very clean and stocked with all of the essentials. Would definitely stay here again!

The cottage was right on the lake and very well laid out. Plenty of room and it has everything you'll need to be comfortable. The owners were so nice and regularly communicated with us to make sure we were doing OK or if we needed anything. If you fish you'll love. Beautiful dock to sit back and relax. . Our family had a great time! The property was clean and very well stocked. We really enjoyed having use of the private boat ramp, and the dock was great for parking our boat. I thought the treats for our dog and the mountain spring waters were a nice surprise when we arrived! Cheryl and Tim are great hosts and we would definitely stay again!

We were welcomed with a nice card and bottle of wine as a gift for our honeymoon. Everything was very clean and the location was great for us. The only minor complaint we had would be the air fresheners were very strong and we had to unplug them during our stay due to our allergies. Other than that, everything was wonderful! Definitely would love to go back!
