Welcome to Charming Beach Condo. Our two bedroom, one bath condo is located on the third floor. Relax on the balcony overlooking the beach to the south. Get up early and enjoy the sunrise. Being the end unit, you also get a panoramic view of Jacksonville Beach.
After a warm day on the beach, sunbathing or shelling, cool off in the pool on your way back to the condo. Cook for yourself in the condo or visit one of the MANY local restaurants located close by. When relaxing in the condo, you can watch cable TV or connect to the wireless internet. Enjoy a good nights sleep on one of the 2 queen beds plus sofa bed (pull-out couch).
There is plenty to do at Jax. Beach and the good thing.... everything is close by.

I am a repeat customer at this location. It is a hidden jewel. It is just perfect for a family/and/or friend getaway. It is completely pet friendly. My 'Fido" loves it here. Thanks for having my friends, Fido and me this week.

My family of 5 enjoyed our three night stay! It was the perfect ending to our vacation. The owner was responsive to texts and everything was as expected!!

My husband was having surgery at Mayo Clinic and we needed a place to stay near by. It was clean and comfortable, and close by. The only negative was the major road construction that obstructed the entrance of the building the entire stay. And at one point the water was even turned off due to the construction. I was told that the owners were notified and I feel that this should have been communicated to us. We would stay again, if there was no construction.

Location on beach next to walkway is only positive about this condo. The unit is typical older beach front -tired and neglected; however this unit has had minimal repairs causing problems. The hinges on the front door are loose and therefore the door does not close straight, easily catching fingers in the jam beside the handle. The hinges on kitchen cabinets are broken with doors hanging (although the kitchen did seem decently stocked). The sliding glass door to the balcony will not open without significant strength -my husband could open it a foot. The storage unit is not marked so we needed to try the key in several doors. The hinge on the top of the door is completely off so the door swings cockeyed. There were several umbrellas, all were broken. There were rusted and ripped beach chairs and 3 regular folding chairs. When we arrived 15 minutes after 3:00 check-in the cleaning people were still there doing laundry, mopping, etc. We had plans but could not take a shower and get ready until after 4:00. I unfortunately left my bathing suit in the shower and was 3 hours away when I realized it. I messaged the host. 7 hours later I messaged again. He finally advised it would be $50 to mail me my suit. I can not be the first person to leave something - $50 seems ridiculous to send a light weight item that would fit in a large envelope. I declined. Overall, it was very disappointing with numerous frustrations. Many better options in Jacksonville.

Overall this was a perfect spot. Kavi was very responsive with questions. Bed(s) were comfortable and sheets were clean. Other than the front door sticking because of age, I would stay here again.

This unit was a few steps to the beach with a lovely view of the waves which we could hear throughout the day and night. Things were clean and our check in and check out process were simple. The hosts were always quick to reply with any messages. Everything was in working condition and we could tell that furniture and some kitchen supplies had been updated since the photos have been taken of the property. Beds and furniture were comfortable. We would stay here again!

Kavi was very helpful and attentive to our requests. The AC went out on the first day we were there, and he made sure an AC company was there early on Monday and it was fixed before the end of the day. He also followed up the next day to make sure it was working. We liked the beach because it was less crowded than the gulf side, very wide, beautiful sand, mostly public with no large rows of resort-owned rental beach chairs.

Communication was great. Kavi replied within minutes of any questions. The view from the condo was amazing, several resturants within walking distance, the beach was awesome and our dog Murray absolutely loved walks on the beach, Most resturants also dog friendly.
Unfortunately we didnt have any sun this week so we did not use the pool area which was very clean and had a turffed area for lounging. Thank you for such an amazing beach though, as lots if walking was done.
It certainly appears Kavi is working on improving the confo as several boxes of misc. household items showed up just before we left and notified a new fridge and stove being delivered the day we were leaving.
Unfortunately we could not find the grill as listing showed a grill.

Loved the location and quaintness of the unit. This unit was just what we needed for a getaway with my family. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. We had a great view of the ocean from the balcony. We loved having the ocean view and seeing the street as people rode along on beach bikes. Access to the elevator was beneficial as I have bad knees. It had everything we needed for our stay, and the host, Kavi, was very responsive and accommodating. If you want to be near the beach in a clean and affordable VRBO, you can’t go wrong with this place!! We have already booked our stay to come back this summer!

We were very disappointed to find very dirty air filters, moldy vegetables in the window sills, black mold around air vents and the screen door totally off the track. My son had an asthma attack right away and we were unable to stay there at all due to the mold and dirty environment. Even more disturbing is that we were unable to get ANY portion of a refund as money is collected prior to arrival. Furniture is not the same as in the photos btw—no colorful bar stools at counters -just old chairs. Updates listed in description are not true—purely surface/cosmetic paint. Also must climb 2 levels of stairs to reach unit which is not mentioned at all. Will not use or trust VRBO again.

Let’s start with the positive. The condo was clean and the bed was comfortable. The owner graciously allowed us to check in a couple of hours early. That said, the furnishings appeared to be “old attic.” One example: the barstools at the bar were table height so when sat in a persons nose was level with the bar. The kitchen furnishings would meet bare minimal standards. One bedroom had no closet and no hooks on the wall to hang belongings. The front door had to be slammed shut to close. Simply out, the condo did not appear to be “loved”.
We noted yes, we enjoyed our stay as our daughter lives in Jacksonville and we spent most of the time at her house. That was a life saver for if I had planned to cook Thanksgiving dinner in the condo I would have been in big trouble.
The condo is street side so just be aware there is a long walk from the elevator; however, there are stairs very close to the door.

Nice clean place worked good for us, but is older. Beds were comfortable, couch good, 1 deck chair had a broken foot rest no biggie to us. Easy beach access and nice pool . No baking sheet, or measuring cups . Tv in room by patio didn’t connect only tried to use it 1 time let owner know. Bath towels could use updating. Beach towels were great. Good starter supplies

This is our second time staying at these condos, first time at this particular one. I worried because it's more of side view of the ocean, but it turned out to be perfect. Sitting on the balcony, enjoying the ocean breezes was heavenly. The place is clean and cute. It's just as advertised. The only issue was that we didn't have the entry code when we arrived, but the owner got back to us right away with the code. I would definitely come back! The fact that it's pet friendly is a plus. The pool is nice and several times we had it all to ourselves. And Jax Beach is great. Also there are a couple of nice places to eat within walking distance -- a great Thai restaurant and a couple of good places for breakfast. And a short drive away is Atlantic Beach with excellent dining options. Try The Local -- great food, atmosphere, and drinks.

Since the renovation of the outside of the whole complex. We felt safe & comforting in the unit. Upon coming into comdo it was clean and ready for my family. Everything works in the condo & has ceiling fans in every room & well working ac unit. Much needed in the weeks we stayed. Big couch & chair but could use a recliner or something more comfortable for a 4 person family to sit on. Condo is so close to beach we did not have to use a cooler at the beach. Just walked back up to condo to retrieve more cold drinks & food. Pool is well kept. Seemed like the pool maintenance guy was there everyday attending to it. Definitely will be coming back next summer!

My best friend and I stayed at this condo during June. We loved waking up to our sunrise beach view each morning. This condo is close to restaurants and shopping but right off the beach and in a quiet neighborhood. Loved that we could bring our pups. It would have been nice to have a luggage cart to help get our stuff to the 3rd floor but there was nothing to help with this. Next time I will bring a wagon of my own. Also, if a vacuum had been in the condo it would have helped us clean up better before our departure. Other than these inconveniences the place was great. Would definitely book again. We may try to come back in the fall

We enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfortable, which is saying something coming from me. Location of the unit is nice.
There were a few cons, though. The listing says you can see the ocean from "every room but the bathroom." No. The ONLY rooms you can see the ocean from is the living room & 1 bedroom. 1 bedroom has no window at all. There was no dustpan or mop. No way to clean up the sand or any spills that may happen. The kitchen is lacking many essential items (cookie sheet, can opener) & had a limited supply of pots & pans. The hot water runs out before we could have a proper shower. There are no umbrellas at the pool to shield non swimmers from the sun. The locker had an umbrella, but it was broken. The elevator is SUPER slow. We ended up just taking the stairs (which is fine...except for bringing up & taking down luggage).
Jacksonville is a fantastic place to vacation if you don't want to travel to a "tourist" town. This condo was a bit overpriced in my opinion, but provided us a clean, comfortable place to stay on our family vacation.

The listing update about the $4M reno is every bit accurate. Really nice job renovating the entire building - made for nice experience. The only thing that looked new on the inside of our condo unit was the blue-painted walls. It was also very clean and that was lovely. However, the furnishings were OLD and WORN. Worst sleep of my life - mattresses offered NO BACK SUPPORT (my entire family struggled to sleep on them). Sleeper sofa lacked bedding and pillows - and rest of bedding had been washed so many times it was translucent and just very very worn. The furniture was not comfortable. There was not a single comfortable chair inside. The two PVC high-top chairs on the patio were the most comfortable seating in the entire place. The beach view from the patio was lovely. The AC was nice and cold. I had a family of 5. There were EXACTLY 5 plates - salad and dinner sized. Not well stocked for kitchen items like this. We bought paper plates. The Owner was very communicative re someone who parked in our designated spot and had them towed which was appreciated. Sleeper sofa bedding was subpar and impossible to find...took me 3xs to get a response and owner responded that what was in the linen closet should be adequate - and said he would order a set of linens from Amazon recvd 2 days later. Left it in box. Nice facility, unit had its pros but too many cons to return again. In spite of that we enjoyed the close proximity to the beach!

We enjoyed the condo, the proximity to the beach was perfect. The condo could use a little attention. Cabinet knob was missing, closet door off the track, a lot of little things that could be done easily to make it a nicer stay. Overall location was the winner.

This property was perfect for our visit to Jacksonville Beach celebrating our grandson's high school graduation while giving us opportunity to enjoy the ocean. Loved being able to open the balcony door and hear the ocean waves and having a short walk to the beach. Appreciated the beach chairs, towels, and other beach accessories provided. Hopefully the door to the beach storage closet is repaired soon for easier access. I would not recommend this unit to people with a toddler, though, as there are exposed wires within easy reach of a child. Appreciated that there was an elevator available to get to the third floor when needed. A comfortable place to stay with all basic needs met.

Everything was beautiful and worked propery including the AC which kept it nice and cool. The balcony view was gorgeous and the property and pool was definitely clean. The beach walkway was out in front of hotel and made the work less than five minutes from our condo. Thank you for giving my Family an epic vacation experience. God Bless

The condo was VERY clean. The ocean view was amazing. Great restaurants under a mile to walk to. Loved having a washer and dryer. Did not have to pack a lot of clothes. We would definitely stay there again. Also ample parking.

1. I read in previous posts about a smell. There was definitely a smell (almost like port-a-potty cleaning solution) that persisted throughout our stay.
2. We could not get the main living room tv connected per the instructions sent but the ones in the bedrooms worked just fine. We have a YouTube TV account so we were able to use that in the bedrooms but they were not connected to the hosts’ account. When messaging about the TV, we got a very quick response— just no resolution.
3. The elevator is pretty far from the unit and slow. We ended up just using the stairs.
4. The beach supply closet was full but the doorway was blocked so we were unable to reach anything/ very dirty in there. The door also was a little unhinged and hard to open/not clearly marked.
5. Unit was dated.. microwave above stove did not work for lighting/vent. A microwave was provided for the counter though as a back up. Bathtub had some rust spots. But otherwise clean.
Again very close to the beach for a great price! You get what you pay for. The pool was nice but very, very cold during our stay in April. No shade at the pool so bring an umbrella.

The Sandpiper Condo complex is just gorgeous .. newly renovated. Love the new color! The location is very walkable and that is what we enjoy most Great beach- found lots of shark teeth. Our host was responsive and kind.. The rental unit is very functional, could use some TLC - overall we enjoyed our time Thank you Kavi

The location could not be better. It was clean and comfortable. One of the beds was exceptionally comfortable. It had everything we needed to make our stay wonderful. The host was accessible at all times. We really appreciated that there were plenty of towels, beach, chairs, umbrellas. It really was wonderful easy to manage. We loved it and can’t wait to go back.

The stay was nice, however while taking a shower the first day, there wasn't anything in the tub to prevent a slip and fall. My wife fell, bruising her ribs, lung and hip which made our vacation somewhat painful and limited.

This was a very nice place to stay. Clean and very close to the beach. We could not find a blinder in the room nor were there any ice trays. The luggae cart was hard to roll couldn't get it to go straight. LOL. Other than that the stay was great. The property manager was very easy to contact. She responded within 24 hrs. The view was great from the balcony.

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. It is just steps to the beach. The pool was clean but it was too cold to swim in, probably because it had an extra foot of water in it from Hurricane Ian, plus it was October. The queen beds in each bedroom were comfortable and the bedding was just the right weight. The Internet power cable was a bit of a tripping hazard but I think they were still working on it, and it will be rectified. The couch was large and very comfortable. You can see the ocean from the couch as well as the balcony. There were several beach chairs and an umbrella in a closet located in the parking area. It was nice not to have to lug the beach stuff up to the condo. The steps and the elevator are conveniently close to the condo. Restaurants are close by also.

We had a good experience overall with a tiny issue that wasn't resolved. The microwave was shorting out the breaker when running it. I emailed landlord but no reply. Other than that, the condo was very clean and nicely decorated. The balcony is in a good spot to watch the sunrise in the mornings, it was beautiful! Chairs on the balcony were not the greatest. Within walking distance to shops and easy access to the beach. Pool was clean and relaxing. We had a great time there are a lot of things to do in Jacksonville beach!

Nice location, amazing beach!
The owner was easy to communicate with. The property itself needs a little sprucing up. The condo was in a nice location right next to the beach. The condo pretty much had most things you would need. Plenty of towels, beach towels, beach chairs and the a/c worked beyond great.
Would have liked a couple more blankets or throws due to the a/c working so well it was chilly watching movies. A chair to sit down in would work great as the property only has a couch (not the one pictured).
I would definitely rent there again!

2nd Time Stay
This was our second stay in this exact condo. We have been coming to the Sandpiper condo's for about 12 years. Although this one is somewhat outdated and needs a few things fixed up it is 100% worth the price. We would stay here again.

Ruined vacation
How was my stay?? What stay?? Drove 6 hours with my 93 year old grandmother. We arrived around 5pm on check-in day to find the building was gutted, under construction. All roped off with construction tape. Owner never responded to my messaged. Took 5 hours to get ahold of VRBO. Had no where to go. Ended up driving back home. Completely ruined the vacation. Beware!!!!
