Great location, the scenery and wildlife was beautiful. Also very short drives to get groceries, going on day trips, and out to eat. Super comfortable beds, and cozy overall home. The back patio was just perfect.

The location of this home was perfect for us. It was an easy drive to the University and grocery store. A bonus was the beautiful setting and access to the trailhead for the walking path by the river and through the woods. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.
4.7
The house was very clean and convenient to town, hiking, and our family.
4.7
The home was clean and well stocked. The beds were extremely comfortable with down pillows and comforters. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and the creek running behind the back yard was beautiful. Only issue for me was the older, low to the floor toilets. Difficult for tall people with knee problems.
Overall a perfect 4 night stay!

Place was exactly what we needed. Gave us a nice place to stay and gather.

Great communication with the owner and a superb property.

I'm conflicted because in spite of what the owner wrongly accused us of after checkout, and in spite of several issues with this place, I still want to think fondly of this place.
I've stayed there before and greatly enjoyed it. This time around, I'm left with a bad taste in my mouth. The location next to the creek and a trailhead is hard to beat. It gives you an overall sense of peace and well being which makes you forgive the fact that the Internet goes down for 5 minutes at a time about 8 times a day (there was also a one time wifi issue but Jeff took care of it promptly), the master sink bedroom is backed up, there's almost no water pressure in the kitchen sink, and the kitchen and bathrooms are not in the best of shape. This place has so much charm, it makes up for these issues.
What doesn't work though, is when after you check out the owner accuses your (14 yo) child of having urinated all over a mattress, and opens an insurance claim for a full mattress replacement. Way to ruin someone's someone's vacation. The feeling of peace and well being we paid for... instantly gone. Not a good experience. I assume the owner didn't actually see the alleged damage with their own eyes but it's something a cleaning crew stated. Not sure what they actually saw but We've asked for evidence and are still waiting. The claim is preposterous, and we've notified the insurance company it's fraudulent.

We had the best weekend staying at Jeff and Julie’s VRBO. Lots of room for 4 ladies and the place was clean and cozy. The backyard was so pretty with the creek flowing past! Autumn in Missoula did not disappoint.

My wife and I enjoyed about 2 weeks at this functional home. It is in a great location for experiencing Missoula. The house is about 5 minutes from downtown while offering immediate trail access to the Rattlesnake Trail complex. The location on the creek also offers a peaceful setting for a meal or drink while listening to the water drift by.
The house isn’t fancy, but has been given a fresh coat of paint and updated furniture. The bed in the master was very comfortable, the showers had good water pressure and the living has a large screen TV if you want it. The kitchen is basic, but had everything that we needed to prepare numerous meals with the bounty from the weekly Farmers’ Markets.
We found the owners to be helpful and accessible throughout the booking process and our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location!
Right in the middle of Rattlesnake canyon with lots of walking/ hiking and opportunities, and only a short drive, or walk or ride to downtown.
Highly recommended!

The property was as described and in good condition. Move in process was easy.At the time of move out the host put an erroneous charge on our account for tens of thousands of dollars, claiming damages. Unfortunately most of these damages were unsubstantiated and the host was unable to provide sufficient documentation of the charges.Admittedly there was some trash left behind and a broken lamp which we are happy to pay for but the amount they charged is excessive. We also paid for the insurance which the host can claim against but they continue to hold fast on their egregious charges with no negotiation.Several weeks after move out the charge still remains unsubstantiated and on account.VRBO Customer support has been assisting in getting the charges down to a reasonable amount.

Location! Quiet, friendly street, safe location close to town, and literally ON Rattlesnake Creek! (Insert pic of me with a glass of wine in the evening sitting by the creek.). Speaking of wine, the glasses were huge! It’s like the know me! Our stay was awesome as the house suited all of our needs.

Very nice place. Quaint older house but good amenities We cleaned your coffee pot because it had not been in many months, but would suggest you consider a more ergonomic model. Also, given the length of time the impeller fan took to start up, you might consider a service call on your hvac

Great location, lovely property
The place is very clean, cute, and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking, and we really appreciated the grill and outdoor seating options. It was amazing being so close to the creek and within a short drive to multiple mountain biking trails. The owners are super friendly and take great care of the property. It was a perfect getaway.

Tranquil and relaxing home on the Rattle snake river. Ideal location to the University Campus and downtown. Very friendly and secure neighborhood. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

RIGHT on Rattlesnake Creek and close to everything
We stayed at the property for a week in September, in town for a wedding at Snowbowl ski resort. The property is on a quiet dead-end road and right ON the rattlesnake creek. The street dead-ends about 100 yards from the property into a trailhead that takes you along the creek, and about 3miles (along the trail) to the Rattlesnake recreation area. I ran back in here several times. Saw over 21 deer and muledeer in one run :-) Missoula is a short and easy drive for anything needed. I wish I would have brought fishing poles and bikes, as both would have been used at the property. Owners were great communicators. We never saw them, but they were on top of emails, and checkin, etc. The back yard deck, grill and river and location are the great assets of the property. Check in and out were painless and easy. We didn't need the fireplace, but it was flagged out of service, if that's important, check on the status.

Cozy retreat on Rattlesnake Creek
The ranch home was lovely and the yard and location spectacular. Home backs up to the rushing waters of the Rattlesnake. A short walk to the end of the street brings you to a trailhead for a wooded path along the creek that leads to a park. We greatly enjoyed our stay at this property located just an 8-10 min drive from the center of town.
