About this house rental
275 Ohio is a spacious 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom pool home. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and private bathroom that leads to the rear patio, the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have a queen-size bed, and the 4th has a trundle bed. Bedrooms 2, 3, and 4 share a full bathroom, and the half bathroom. Linens are included! We provide all bed linen, bath towels, hand towels and even a set of towels you can take to the beach.
There is a very large updated kitchen with all the essentials of home including seating for 8 at the dining table. This home also includes 3 TV's, Free Wi-Fi, as well as a heated pool and huge screened-in lanai with updated seating, dining table for 8 and a large flat-screen tv with cable and internet to entertain the whole family!

Perfect home for kids!
We had a great stay! The location was perfect with a lot of good restaurants, coffee shops, and ice cream nearby. The pool and back patio were amazing! We had a few, very minor issues, and the rental company and Owner were very responsive and got everything fixed very quickly, with no impact on our stay. We would love that stay here again!

Family Getaway
The cottage was perfect for our family getaway. With the private pool and waking distance to the beach it allowed for us to have the access to both. The outside living room and nice size bedrooms made the house feel spacious. The only downside is that there is no bathtub so if you are traveling with a toddler the shower is the only option.
The location was great in a nice neighborhood off the busy path but close enough to walk to all the action.

Cute cottage like home
Besides the pool being disgusting and unusable for 4 out of our 7 days, we enjoyed the house. Quiet location, but so close to the action. The outdoor space was very nice, however, the TV did not work. The pool was the reason we chose this home so it was very disappointing when we could not use it.

The beachfront was beautiful but the house is not very clean and the kitchen supplies were limited. Tons of towels for showers but zero beach chairs as they were all broken.

Great getaway!
This house was everything that it shows in the listing. It was very clean and very well equipped. We had an issue, we contacted the local real estate manager and it was dealt with quickly and to our satisfaction. I believe the previous reviewer listed a few things that were broken/missing. These items still need to be dealt with but did not lessen our enjoyment of the house. The outdoor living space is the #1 reason to rent this home. We lived on the patio and in the pool.

The “beach cart” provided is actually more of a garden/landscaping wagon with a rusted front axle that prevented the wheels from being able to be turned with the rusted handle that was ready to fall off. The outdoor spotlights at the side of the house nearest the grill don’t work. The outdoor shower by the pool doesn’t work very well (the shower in the front is much better).

Perfect getaway
The location of the house was perfect for walking to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The house itself was wonderful with the screened in porch being our favorite place to hangout second to the pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return!

Really Nice - Highly Recommend!
We loved seahorse cottage. We had to get out of chicago after being stuck there due to covid for a few months. Very hot in florida in late June but this place was great. The house is just like the pictures. Nice inside with strong air con. We have two kids 11 and 14 and it was plenty of space. The deck was great outside. Pool area was the nicest surprise. they have so many trees and bushes surrounding the property that it really makes it private back there. Location for ya was also nice. Walking distance to fort myers beach and activities and the great ice cream shop for the kids down the road (Goodz). Then such a close drive to the amazing Sanibel and Captiva beaches. Go early and get a spot at Turner beach on Captiva. Daughter found so many shells there and the blind pass beach just next to it. House came with an umbrella and chairs and coolers and towels and floats so had everything we needed.
Would recommend a few more fans on the deck for summer months and the fridge i think needs replacing soonish but all said we loved seahorse cottage. Definitely a good house if you’re considering it. management company was very responsive to all messages.

What a wonderful cottage !! Clean, comfortable, and tons of amenities in the cottage and close by. There were 4 adults for our stay, and we were very pleased with the bedrooms/bathrooms. The best part of the cottage, in our opinion, is the lanai. We spent a lot of time there. We had all our meals there and enjoyed the beverage fridge, TV, and seating a great deal. The private yard and pool area are great. We felt as if we had our own private paradise. A nice quiet street, easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants, bars, shopping.....anything you would need. We liked it so much, we booked again for 2021. 100% satisfaction !!!

You can't beat the location of this property. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach and many restaurants and shops and about a 10 minute walk to Times Square. The outdoor seating area is absolutely amazing! The house was very clean and had plenty of linens and beach towels. The only thing that kept us from giving it a 5 for general condition is that it does need a little TLC, but nothing that a little drywall repair and paint can't fix. Also the beach chairs and umbrella are getting pretty rusty and should be replaced. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The location and the outdoor seating area can't be beat. The only reason we gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because it needs a little TLC. It's starting to show some wear and tear. Nothing that a little paint and scrubbing can't fix. The beach chairs and umbrella are a bit rusty and worn also. We would still highly recommend this property.

Seahorse Cottage
We loved this house! Great location in walking distance of restaurants, Time Square and beach access. The pool was terrific and we spent a lot of our time on the outside screened porch. We loved the set up of the house, how it was decorated and its cleanliness. The provided linens and towels were greatly appreciated. It would have helped to have hooks or towel racks to hang up wet towels. We recommend this property.

House is great. Customer service not so great.
The house was not cleaned at the 4pm check in time. Nobody was even at the house cleaning at 4pm. The office was closed when I called to inquire. There was an emergency number I called and someone cane to clean the house within the hour. After a 21 hour drive we were more than ready to check in. No sheets after the cleaning. We were finally able to get in by 6pm with no sheets on the Queen beds. I don’t know how one lady could have really cleaned it that quick. The cleaning lady did not speak English when I asked about the sheets. I had to talk with a family member of hers. That spoke English. Around 10pm someone dropped off a Walmart bag with sheets I had to wash. No apology. They did not check in with us. Zero complimentary hand soap. One roll of toilet paper. The house is great. The pool is wonderful. It’s close to everything. Customer service sucked and I’ve used rental houses for years and in other countries.

Really enjoyed the pool, screened in Florida room and location of this home. The only thing was that the air conditioner unit for the master bedroom and kitchen was not working. They got it working for 1 day and then it quit working again. Otherwise I would give this place 5 stars.

Loved Seahorse Cottage
The Seahorse Cottage was absolutely awesome! We stayed there for spring break with another family and the house was perfect for us! The outdoor screened in room is where we spent most of our time outside of the pool area. The negative to the pool area is we only had sun from 11-4ish due to the trees. Otherwise it was all perfect.

Our family spent a week at this amazing spot, a little taste of paradise near a busy downtown within walking distance but far enough away to have peace and quiet. The best of both worlds. The pool was the highlight & sunsets at the beach every evening spectacular!! Grilling outside w/gas grill with a great counter w/built in sink made it easy and cooking inside the well equipped kitchen made it effortless. The only thing we will do next time is rent a couple of bikes for the entire week since traffic on the only road thru town gets a little backed up at times. We will be back for sure!!!
