About this house rental

Escape to downtown Boulder and enjoy our beautiful 4 bedroom home in the heart of it all. Our remodeled home offers all the amenities needed to feel right at home. We are in walking distance to Pearl St Mall, the University of Colorado campus and football stadium, restaurants, bars, microbreweries, shopping, and all the recreational activities that Boulder has to offer. Located in a highly desirable, small neighborhood perched on a bluff just north of Pearl Street, the views are expansive and above the treeline of downtown Boulder. The location is truly a hidden gem, right downtown but lifted above on a quiet and upscale street. Plus, you are helping to do some good in the world - we donate 10% of our rental income to the local nonprofits we support and volunteer with!

Our property is extremely family friendly. Our small neighborhood is very unique as the bluff we're on is not a through street, so it's a quiet street with plenty of parking. We have a fully fenced back yard as well. Our property is stocked with games for all ages, play pen, baby gate, high chair, plastic kitchenware, etc.

If there is a chef in your party, the kitchen is sure to please. With professional style Thermadore appliances including wine fridge and heat lamps, you have all the tools to turn out an amazing dishes for your party. Our pet peeve with traveling is having to purchase all the small ingredients needed even for simple dishes. Not the case here. From a variety of premium olive oils, sea salts, and vinegars to a well stocked spice cabinet, feel free to take a little and leave a little. If you come when the garden is in bloom, fresh vegetables and herbs are right outside the door. The kitchen openly adjoins the living and dining spaces in the great room, creating a very social environment.

The master suite is located on the second floor of the home, which features a king bed with built in reading lights and private bathroom with double vanities. Also on the upper level is a second bedroom/den and bathroom. This spare room can be used as a private den or pull out the queen plus sized sleeper sofa for an additional bed. This is not your average sleeper sofa – it is an American Leather Comfort Sleeper that does not disappoint for a great nights rest. The third and fourth bedrooms are on the main floor past the office nook and are separated by an additional full bathroom. One room is a queen, the other has 2 XL twins.

We have a full washer/dryer, central heat and AC, high speed internet, 2 flat screen TV’s, ceiling fans in every room, grill, and full patio sets front and back.

The city of Boulder requires that all short term rental properties be the owners primary residence, as ours is. No large/loud parties are allowed, and we ask that any outdoor activities be kept to a low volume after 10pm out of consideration for our neighbors. If you are looking to host a party weekend, we kindly ask that you keep looking. The maximum rental term is 28 nights.

The garage and master closet are owner lockout areas and will not be accessible. Each bedroom has a full dresser that is solely for guest use.

We sincerely hope you enjoy our home. As you can read in the reviews, we take great pride in providing a clean, beautiful property for your time in Boulder. Please let us know anything we can do to help your stay be more enjoyable.

We strongly encourage guests to purchase vacation insurance which will protect your vacation investment against unforeseen circumstances such as illness, weather, flight cancellations, etc.

We had planned a mountain vacation with friends to the east coast, but when our son moved back to Boulder from Dallas, our friends who used to live in Boulder wanted to switch our plans to visit him. After our stay, our friends (who now live in Houston) wonder why they ever left. This house was a perfect retreat for us Texas and Illinois people trying to escape the heat, humidity and bugs. This beautiful house in a lovely neighborhood has a patio out front where we spent our mornings drinking coffee and enjoying the mountain view. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make a few meals when we weren't heading to town. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The wifi worked perfectly for our daughter who was able to catch up on emails and attend a couple meetings and my husband enjoyed the TV package and was able to watch his races on Father's Day. There is a Whole Foods down the street along with a coffee shop, Mo's Bagels and several other conveniences. Pearl Street is a 10 minute walk away, but we also found ourselves walking around the neighborhood several times as well, enjoying the scenery. The owners are good communicators and generous - welcoming us with a bottle of wine and some snacks to start our trip. It was a perfectly relaxing place to spend our time in Boulder.

We had five members of our family--including a 2 year old--stay here for Memorial Day Weekend and the Bolder Boulder 10K race. The house was perfect for us--very spacious and clean and well stocked--and a great host. The house also was walking distance to Pearl Street and all of the Coffee Shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a small family gathering to celebrate my son’s commencement and the location couldn’t have been better - close to all Boulder activities including Pearl St. and CU. We had family in from four different states and everyone enjoyed all the home had to offer – well stocked gourmet kitchen, lots of living space, cute backyard and gorgeous views. The wine fridge was a bonus!

This was a lovely home where 7 adults stayed for a small family reunion. Communication with the host was easy and he was very responsive to questions as they arose prior to and during our stay. While the location is amazing, for us the kitchen was the star of the show. We were able to prepare meals together and really enjoy quality time. I have never stayed in a home so well-appointed with supplies for cooking, and it allowed us to spend time together without stressing about where to eat. The weather during most of our stay was not ideal for outdoor adventures but this home provided a wonderful base to enjoy old memories and create new ones. In addition, because some of our guests were dealing with jet lag and altitude discomfort, it is noteworthy that the home is designed such that people who need some quiet/alone time are very comfortable and not bothered by the noise of others visiting in the common areas. The sole category I took a star away from is accuracy of online listing because it says under popular amenities "hot tub". There is no hot tub, though there is a lovely deep tub in the main floor bathroom for those who like to soak. If you want to stay in boulder in a place that truly feels like a "home away from home", look no further. I would love to return here in the future.
