This was a wonderful place to stay. It is exactly as pictured. The neighborhood was very quiet and only a few blocks to the main streets and all the pubs and shops. I had our bedroom window open on a Saturday night and heard no noise. The rooms were big but very quaint. Everything felt clean too. It was so nice getting up in the mornings early and sitting at the counter or dining room table and having tea and scones. I absolutely loved having a separate washer and dryer. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a quaint, roomy, quiet, conveniently located place to stay in Killarney.

Amazing location, accommodations, and hospitality! Tim & Bernadette were super welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed, including recommendations for places to visit in the sun/rain. They responded very quickly to one issue (beyond their control), and made it right. Recommend: Killarney Brewing Company (in town) for pizza and beer! Super yummy!

Wonderful home in Killarney! The house is less than a 5 minute walk to town, but located in a quiet residential neighborhood. This made it the best of both worlds-close to restaurants/pubs/shops, with no disruptions when we wanted a quiet night at home. There is plenty of space in the home, and it had everything we needed. The owners were responsive, and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend this property, and if we have the privilege of visiting Killarney again, we would love to stay here!

We had a fabulous time staying at this home. Two blocks off the Main Street and enough space for all of us (parents + 3 kids). The Christmas decor was perfect for the home away from home during the holidays!

Great visit and a great place to stay! This house is a short walk from the train station and the downtown area. No problem to pop out to the shops or to get a bite (or a drink) at the wide variety of pubs and restaurants in Killarney. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone planning a holiday.

We liked the property and loved the location. When there was a problem, Tim was quick to return our email and fix things - he was very nice. We did have a few problems though - a morning where the hot water went out and we all got cold showers, a missing mirror in the bathroom and it was chilly one night requiring an e-mail to the owner to adjust it - we couldn’t do ourselves. But overall we had a good stay.

This was the perfect house to enjoy Killarney and as a launching point for the Dingle Peninsula. The location is ideal for accessing downtown and Killarney National Park. The hosts were so responsive and provided great recommendations for visiting the area and Dingle. Thanks so much!

This was my first time in Ireland, and I wanted to stay in a place close enough to walk in to town and enjoy the local vibe. I chose Killarney, and this house, from the description, fit the bill. When we arrived, we walked in to the cutest house! Entry was easy, lock box was at a good height to get the keys. Some of the vines and greenery could be cut back a bit tho, especially around the windows. Trying to open the windows for air flow and having plants and the critters that are in the foliage too close to coming in the house. The house is a great size, the front living space has a wood stove, wood and peat provided. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, and pantry items, spices, some tea and coffee. Full bathroom downstairs was awesome! Washer dryer! Upstairs the bedrooms are a good size. The shower in the guest bath is tight. The main bedroom and bathroom are a good size, lots of hangers and room to put your clothes. Beds were comfy. The location is the BEST! Walk to the pubs and town. The host gave us a couple of options for site seeing, we chose biking in the National Park. Amazing!! Really, the only reason for 4 stars is the wifi never worked! We were counting on wifi, so that was disappointing. I also felt like the house could use a deep clean. On the surface it wasn’t dirty.. yet nooks and baseboards, grout, could use some attention. For the price, it could have been cleaner and the wifi should have worked. Prime location tho..

Killarney is an excellent base for exploring all of southwestern Ireland. The house is two blocks from central Killarney and its shops and pubs. Information left by host (and in-person guidance) was very helpful - lots of good ideas (including which direction to drive the Ring of Kerry to avoid facing the massive coaches). We recommend the Killarney brewery.

From the beginning of our inquiry, Bernadette was great. She gave tips on where to go - even off of the beaten path. She graciously allowed an early check in, when asked ahead of time. Instructions on how to get to the home were spot on. The home is just as the pictures depict, if not cuter. And the location in town could not be better - just a couple of blocks off of the main action areas in Killarney and close to transportation. We have friends now wanting to book a trip because of the photos of the house that we posted! We cannot wait until our next visit and our stay at our "Blue House" home.

This charming, period home is just a short walk from downtown Killarney. So we were just a few minutes stroll from food shops and the many fine restaurants and pubs that line the main streets Two of the three upstairs bedrooms are en-suite which is very convenient. The kitchen is well laid out and served us very well when we did not eat out. Our host, Tim, met us upon our arrival and provided us with all the details necessary, including how to light the fire in the Franklin-like stove. Very hand during the chilly spring evenings. All in all we were very satisfied with our stay.

Place was beautiful and centrally-located, walking distance to many shops, pubs & restaurants. Only problems were lack of grab bars & slip-proof basins in tub & showers in and serious lack of railing on steps from parking area.

We could not have stayed in a better spot! Bernadette was great to work with and very responsive anytime we messaged. The location of the home is walkable to everything and the home is well laid out and is wonderfully stocked.

Tim and Bernadette were absolutely wonderful hosts. The house was very clean. Instructions for check in/check out were specific and easy to manage. The location is great as Killarney is a very walkable town and a few minutes you have access to just about any service. We have been to Killarney many times and this is one of the best times we had and the best accommodations as well. Thank you Tim and Bernadette. Well done. Great craic was had by all !!

We visited for an Irish dance competition at the INEC. The house was lovely, with plenty of room for the five of us to spread out, relax, eat, and rest. The parking spot made for no stress jaunts out and about each day and evening. Our hosts checked in on us and left helpful tips/tourist info for us to use while exploring. Very much enjoyed our visit!

Overall, it was a good experience. You can’t go wrong with the location. For the most part, Bernadette was quick to respond. Our main issue was there was no directions in the house for trash disposal, requirements for cleaning prior to leaving and the single bedroom, you could see and feel the springs in the mattresses, making it very uncomfortable.
