If you are looking for impeccable craftsmanship and something really different that is 5 star quality and a cut above all the rest, you've found it! This is the very best! Hand built by the owner with materials from around the world, this 3500 square feet home sits on 4 manicured acres. It features pines and a huge grove of Aspen trees bathed in a sea of wildflowers (when in season).
This is not a kid friendly house and we try very hard to make it top notch. We have to limit the number of quests due to septic restrictions. It IS the finest place to stay for adults and older children. Absolutely no pets to maintain the pristine condition.
Water feature? In the front yard and viewable from the dining room is a seasonal stream that cascades over a 400 ton rock waterfall. This provides drinking water for the wildlife that gathers here. Wildlife? On any given day you could see DEER, ELK, BEAR, BOBCAT, RACCOON, RABBIT,SQUIRREL, COYOTE and our resident WILD TURKEYS, all frequently drinking. In the past we even had Condors! With 9 skylights, there is plenty of natural illumination and the massive walls make the home a refuge of solitude.
Log accents and vaulted ceilings abound. The upper level features a vaulted entry through an oversize handmade mesquite door, living room with wood stove, kitchen with dual fuel range, microwave oven, dishwasher, enormous garden window, and distressed hickory cabinets. Of course, almost every kitchen appliance and utensil you could want is there, too. Decks: There are two, one in the front and back. The rear deck overlooks the area where the Mountain Man Rendezvous scene from 'Centennial" was filmed.
At night, relax and watch the canopy of stars in the velvet sky. Want entertainment? Enjoy the Home Theater: Not a TV with a few speakers, this is a dedicated 5.1 channel audiophile room with high end equipment, acoustically tuned, and recliner chairs for 3. In addition there are 2 beanbag chairs to move around for extra people. The sound quality easily exceeds commercial theaters.
Kitchen: Just about every imaginable appliance and tool you need is there. Propane gas grill is outside on the front deck.
Bedrooms: All have luxurious high end mattresses and the finest bedding. King size bed (1) In the master bedroom. One Queen size bed in private room and one huge California King in separate area in the lower level. Twin Beds (2) in trundle sofa unit that makes into two beds in it's own room And there is a futon/couch facing the lower fireplace. Only can sleep 6 max but pick your favorite spot!
The master suite has a king bed facing the stone gas powered fireplace, and a wall of mirrors covering the walk-in closet. The master bath is a wonder of stone imported from Greece, India, Mexico, Italy, Brazil and Tennessee with a rock wall on one side. A vessel sink is framed by two antler sconces which tie in to all the other light fixtures in the home. This room is also accessible from the front deck.
Down the beetle-killed pine spiral stairs to the lower level and you'll find a tiled tour-de-force full bath, a smaller bedroom with a trundle bed, and an open luxurious Cal King Royal Pedic Latex Cloud bed suite with a huge stone fireplace fronted by a solid copper grille, complete with its own TV. Off in its own room is another pillowtop Queen bed and leather massage chair, ready to ease those stiff muscles from a day of hiking.
Work it out! There is a mirrored exercise room complete with home gym, bicycle on magnetic track stand, dumbbells and a bench!
Sit out on the porch at night and watch the moon through the quaking leaves of the aspen trees. Solitude, yet only 4 miles from downtown Estes Park. Rest your body and your mind.
Hiking: Just out the door and up the road to the National Forest, 1 1/2 miles to RNMP, or take the short 4 mile hike to downtown Estes Park. It's easy going but uphill all the way back. Dining: Some of the best dining is close by, and you don't have to fight the traffic to get there. There is a door to the master suite but the wall is open across the top. This is an open plan and the privacy comes from being the only bedroom upstairs.
Please Note: Absolutely no tobacco products of any kind and we request you leave your shoes in the entryway. There are plenty of slippers for your use. Sorry, no pets of any kind, and children TWELVE and over due to the exceptional high end finish and safety issues. Please ask if you might have an exception. We are also limited to 6 people total as this is on a septic system and this is a county regulation However, for the ultimate luxury stay that exceeds high end hotels, and for those that appreciate and can take care of a fine home, this property has no peer. Read the reviews and rest assured that it will exceed your expectations and is much more impressive than the photos convey. No one is ever disappointed.
Disclosure: There is a Ring doorbell on the front porch aimed at the driveway, another camera looking to the street, and a Ring security light/camera at the rear door aimed down the hill. These are only occasionally looked at to check weather mainly in the winter to monitor snow levels.

This is my second time staying at the property. First time was in 2015 and the second time was September 2024. Not much has changed in close to 10 years. The house is very clean and well maintained. The pics on the listing are representative of the actual house. In 2015 we say baby turkeys, in 2024 there are numerous turkeys that stop and cost the property. There are also deer and bunnies that visit the property.
Michael is a great host. He lives on the property now in a separate building and was very responsive to our needs the two times I asked him questions or needed help with something.
I enjoyed the property so much that I stayed there a second time 9 years later, which I never have done, so needless to say I think it is a great property well suited for a family and/or family and friends stay with a great host!

This was the perfect place for our weekend away with Family. We wanted a peaceful and quiet cabin outside of town and this delivered. The cabin is beautiful and the details and care given to make sure we were comfortable were amazing. We loved being greeted by the turkeys every morning and it was fun to walk around the property. Mike is an amazing host!th!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Mr. Bryant is a wonderful host who went above and beyond to help us with all of our questions. We were even able to check in early. I was quite concerned about the wildfires in the area, but he assured us that they were not moving in our direction and would keep us posted if anything changed. Even though we were visiting during a heat wave, we were quite comfortable in the cabin. The lower level was quite cool, and the main level cooled off quickly in the evenings. I really appreciated all of the details in the home. We even had to take a family photo with Elvis to send back to my mom. There were six of us. Each of the "boys" wanted a bed to themselves and this was a good set up. We also enjoyed the extra living room and abundance of TVs with streaming services. The kitchen was well stocked and would have been enjoyable to cook in, but we spent most of our time in the National Park. The turkeys, squirrels, and bunnies were so fun to watch in the mornings. Overall, I would have loved to have stayed longer and spent more time enjoying the amenities.

Mike was waiting for us as we pulled in. He walked us through the house. We enjoyed the beautiful tile work and exposed beams. (2 washers and 2 dryers!)
We got to see the Milky Way from the back porch and feed the wild turkey chicks from the front. Mike lives just down the road and is available anytime for questions. I definitely recommend!

Very nice cabin. Plenty of room for 6(max). All amenities, and everything is very nice! Awesome movie room, wildlife, and peaceful. No AC, but home cools fast with whole house fan and evening temps. Very comfortable. Michael was always available and happy to help. Definitely recommended!!

We have stayed at this property multiple times during our annual trips to Estes Park. Never fails to meet expectations. Beautiful home in an amazing mountain setting. Wild turkey and elk are a bonus!

The accommodations were absolutely perfect! The home was immaculate and beautiful - ten stars instead of five. You will not be disappointed! The host is great and recommended a hike that turned out to be one of our favorites.

Just as advertised! We were looking for something a little more private than the typical Estes Park tourist cabin experience and this property exceeded expectations! First, it was SUPER CLEAN! The house is expertly crafted and well maintained with upscale finishes and furnishings. WELL STOCKED! The house had everything we needed or could have wanted during our trip. I was surprised by high quality appliances, kitchen gear, bedding, etc. as most rentals I’ve stayed in lately are stocked with the cheapest junk you can find - not this one!
This really felt like we were staying in a home.
The owner was available and very helpful with verbal and written instructions for our stay.
The extra touches the owner provided really made our stay special - there was plenty to do, even when the weather was cooperative. From the big screen tv movie room, to the exercise equipment and game collection, there was plenty to fill a rainy day inside… but my favorite extra was the interaction with wildlife… the owner provided feed for the wild turkey that visited the yard a couple of times a day and some peanuts for the chipmunks that lived in the rock wall. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch watching squirrels, chipmunks, turkey, deer, and elk pass through the yard.
We will definitely return!

My family of 5 (kids ages 9, 13, 15) stayed here for 4 nights, and it was absolutely perfect. The basement had 3 bedrooms, plus a workout area and "hang-out" area. My kids loved it down there, and all slept very comfortably. The master bedroom and bathroom on the main floor were lovely, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The home movie theater was a great way to spend the evening after a long day hiking in RMNP, and we could choose from a selection of DVD's, or find something on Netflix (provided). What really made this property stand out to my kids is the wildlife. They provided a can of deer/turkey/chipmunk feed just inside the front door, as well as a bucket of peanuts in the kitchen, and the local animals love it. My two daughters had so much fun feeding the turkeys and chipmunks. The chipmunks would eat a peanut right out of their hands, which was their absolute favorite experience from our whole vacation. Our host, Mike, was very responsive, friendly, and attentive to our needs. Overall, I can't recommend this property enough! We would love to go back again someday!

The house and property are well maintained. The house interior was clean and had lots of upgrades and quality materials. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all a good size. The appliances and lighting were all upgrades. There were lots of personal touches to make it feel like home. The Owner was available, if needed. There was plenty of wildlife visiting and the setting was peaceful and quiet, yet only 12 minutes from downtown and plenty of hiking not far either. Everything was provided including dishes, silverware, lots of towels, etc. When we needed to relax a little, the theater room was amazing. We would definitely be back.

This property is in an amazing, off the beaten path location in Estes Park, but only a ~10 minute drive from downtown. The location as serene and quiet and the property was immaculately clean and the house was endlessly interesting to explore! The theater room was also extremely comfortable and the sound system was incredible to watch movies on. I would absolutely stay at this property again.

Many extras included in this property. Updated finishes, clean, beautiful home. Quiet and secluded, yet not far from town and the RMNP. We had a wonderful stay. Our host Mike was very personable and always offered to assist in any way.

This property and its owner are amazing! Words can’t describe this majestic property. We were privileged to view elk, mule deer, and wild turkey from the decks of this mountain retreat! The house was spotless and stocked with anything one could want! The owner went out of his way to make our stay remarkable. We will visit again!

The cabin was beyond our expectations as it was spacious, extremely clean, wonderful views from multiple areas, a comfy movie room, and amenities. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and a birthday and much to our surprise the host treated us with a bottle of champagne. We will definitely be back as the place is outstanding and the host is wonderful.

We loved everything about this beautiful home; extremely comfortable and relaxing. We had daily visits from turkeys and deer, and some some elk a ways down the road. The serenity was perfect for our family. Michael was very helpful with local information and coordinating our visit.
Estes Park was a great destination vacation.

Stayed at this mountain location in middle of July, 2023. My 4-adult family greatly enjoyed our stay here; it felt very akin to staying in a friend's home. The home itself, the mountain surroundings, and the up-close-and-personal wildlife (turkeys, deer, etc.) are beautiful. The home's interior is just ridiculously well done, and has to be seen to be believed. This is a wonderful getaway opportunity. Every bit as enjoyable as advertised!

Thank for a wonderful weekend at your property. The house was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed seeing the wild turkeys, deer, and their babies right outside the windows. We were able to ride our e bikes down the road and all around Estes Park. It was a great weekend getaway for 2 couples.

This was one of the best properties weve stayed at! It had every we needed. The beds were really comfortable. The wildlife was a bonus. My son feed wild turkeys and chipmunks. We even has a visit from a doe and her fawn.

Perfect location, close to town, restaurants, and amenities. It has everything you need, and then some. It has everything you need to make your stay a dream. I have no complaints, only that I did not have more time to enjoy it a little bit longer.

We could not have enjoyed our stay more. The house was clean, comfortable, well equipped and then some. The location was private yet close to town.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in the gorgeous house. The house was very clean and spacious. It had all the amenities you could hope for, and it was beautifully decorated. The Elvis theater room was terrific, and we loved the back deck and the view.
It was located less than 15 minutes to RMNP and close to all the shops and restaurants. Although it wasn’t far from all the action, it was set in a quiet, private spot.
We were visited by the turkey every morning, and Michael left a bucket of food for them. I even saw a coyote trying to catch one for breakfast, but the turkey got away. We also had a hummingbird visit us on the deck each morning as well.
Michael was very helpful and accommodating. When we left behind some personal items after checkout, he was kind enough to allow us access to the house to retrieve them.
We are so happy we chose this home for our vacation. I wish we had spent more time in the house. It was worth every penny!

This home was beautiful. Everything was exactly as it was described. The house was perfect. My family and myself loved sitting and watching all the elk, deer, turkeys, chipmunks, and rabbits around the property. The property is a short drive from Estes Park and RMNP. It is also close to many fishing spots. The owner (Michael) of the property was very helpful. He checked in on us to make sure we had everything. Thank you Michael for giving my family a trip that we will never forget!

Believe we have found our dream property for our annual trip to Estes Park. Wonderful cabin in a mountain setting. Wild turkey everywhere and owner even provides feed to enhance the experience. Cabin is amazing and pictures don't do it justice. We will be back next year.

Amazing house
We couldn't have enjoyed our stay at this property more. The views were amazing each morning, including a mother deer and fawn passing right by the balcony. We had wild turkeys visit each day and were close to town but also enjoyed privacy. Check in was easy. Our host was so easy to work with and the house was stunning.

Fantastic house in great location
This house is absolutely beautiful! It is comfortable, cozy, spacious, and the detail of this house is unbelievable. The location is secluded yet a perfect distance to all of the attractions in Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Our family loved our stay!

Flock of Turkeys
This property is frequented by a group of wild and hilarious turkeys. They came typically in the morning and evening and their antics were entertaining to watch.
As far as the cabin was concerned, there was an initial issue that was quickly addressed by the owner. Overall this property is quite convenient to RMNP and close to Estes Park. It was up in the mountains a bit away from Estes Park, but from our perspective that was a bonus. We enjoyed our time here.

It was a beautiful place with wildlife abound. Everyday was a new adventure without even leaving the property.
