About this apartment rental
Now open BAKER STREET LODGE , 2 brand new condominium units right in the heart of downtown Baker Street available for short term rentals. Both architecturally designed 2 bedroom units are made available for use individually or combining them for larger groups. The convenience of being located directly up the stairs from our dynamic Baker Street, only steps to amazing shopping, great restaurants, brew pubs and nightclubs, coffee shops makes these units ultra convenient for tourists, and locals alike.
Our building is the first Baker Street building that has added a new floor since the 1960's. These are not renovated condo's but completely new structures added to the 100 year old single storey building. They are complete with all modern designs and styles. The Baker Street side condo - Unit A - has a 24 x 4 foot deck looking out on the street. The Alley side condo - Unit B - has a 12 x 19 foot deck with incredible views of the famous Pulpit Rock, Flagpole trail and Elephant Mountain. Both decks have Weber Natural Gas Barbques. Both units also have 1 king bed in master bedroom and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom. We also offer 1 cot for an additional $10.00 per night if required.

We came for the car show and couldn't have had a better location as it faced the street where our car show entries were parked. The property was perfect and had everything we could have possibly needed for our stay. We will definitely be coming back again next year.

What an incredible property! Exactly as pictured in the photos. Beautifully appointed, well set up, and such a good location. Though is on Main Street, was really quiet. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This is a fabulous condo located right on the heart of Nelson. You step out the front door and are walking distance from everything…restaurants, breweries, cocktail bars, theatres, groceries. My only concern when I booked it was that it might be noisy at night, being right above a pub, as we travelled with our two young kids. It wasn’t noisy at all. We were busy doing things each day of our stay, but it was so nice to have somewhere so comfortable, central and charming to come back to in between outings. We found ourselves relaxing in the apartment more than I would have expected- not just a place to crash.
Pat and Sue were easy to reach and lovely to deal with. We can’t wait to come back!

We loved staying at the Baker Street Lodge - Suite A! The suite is spacious and bright and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location can't be beaten, and, despite being right on top of a bar/restaurant, the sound isolation is fantastic. We loved staying here and would definitely book it again.

My wife, daughter and I stayed for 5 days and found the unit had ample space, had all required amenities. Fun location! Communication with hosts for any required questions was very fast.

We absolutely loved this place!! A very nice and cozy rental. We enjoyed the deck and the decor. After touring the area, we were happy with our decision to stay in Nelson and not at another location or on the water. There was so much to do and we could easily walk wherever we needed. The place was quiet and no noise could be heard on the street. Nor could any noise be heard from the other apt. If staying in the downtown-facing apt, it is easier to load/unload via the front door. The parking was the only pain, as our truck was too tall to access the parking garage. The street parking is 2 hour parking and we had to repeatedly move it around. Weekend/holiday doesn’t count, as does anything after 5 pm. All in all, we’d definitely stay again. Btw, we loved beauties pizza(especially the kids- we ate there two consecutive nights) and torchlight brewing. Gina’s gelato was great as well!! The renter was also easy to work with, responded quickly and got us in early- which was a huge bonus.

3rd year coming to the area to snowboard. Always stayed just outside of Nelson. The benefits of being steps away from restaurants and bars is huge. One of the coolest features is the balcony. Real clean and sleek furniture and accomodations. Will likely come back again.

We loved this place! We came on a mom’s trip and stayed at the place way more than we normally would have because it was so comfortable and beautiful. Location cannot be beat! Great place to stay while in Nelson. Beds were very comfortable and clean. Great kitchen, living room and balcony, we will definitely be back. Would be great if the kitchen had a few basic condiments in the fridge. Cleaning of high touch areas could use some improvement.

The property was really well situated in town, only steps away from cafes restaurants . The property was beautifully fitted and furnished and extremely quiet, and with several security doors, made us feel very secure. The apartment was as it appeared in the photos online, not photoshopped to over-sell it as sometimes happens. Only a short drive from the Whitewater ski hill but with all the convenience of being in the centre of town. Definetely worth a re-visit

We had a wonderful stay in Pat and Sue’s condos. Perfect location in Baker street, whilst very quiet. Worked very well having the two condos for our family. Pat and Sue constantly kept in contact when the winter snow storm delayed our arrival.

This is a perfect property for those interested in being in down town Nelson. We never really used our truck, because everything was within walking distance. The place is well insulated from street noise and really enjoyed the place. The kitchen was well stocked, there were board games, and coffee! The parking garage was very tight for our RAM 2500. I would say I had about 2in of clearance above my sirus XM receiver which is roof mounted. Would definitely stay there again!

The property on Baker Street is awesome! Great location for walking, shopping, and dining in Nelson. We had everything we needed for cooking, having a washer and dryer was convenient while traveling and we enjoyed many activities in the area. Booking and communication with the owner was easy. Location and comfort of unit was excellent, however, we had some issues with communication (delayed or unanswered emails) and cleanliness of unit (hair on sheets, blood and yellow stains on pillows, and some overall dirt/dust/grime left on floors/appliances/shower/bathroom cabinets.

The lodge was perfectly situated in the heart of everything. Just head downstairs for some barbecue or sushi, across the street for local beer, and everywhere for shopping. Amazing views from the patio for people, mountain, and moon watching. Just an incredible place! When we come back, we won't stay anywhere else!
