This recently remodeled spacious basement apartment is located a stone's throw away from the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon. Enjoy access world class climbing, hiking, and mountain biking right out your door. It's about 25 minutes to the heart of downtown SLC, 25 minutes to the airport, and 40 minutes to Park City. We welcome long term and short term renters alike. Whether you are out here for residency, here for a convention, or just a fun vacation this is the place for you! More information The space - 4K 55” television in Living Room - Wood burning stove in the living room to make for an extra cozy evening after hitting the slopes - 2,000 square feet of living space - Home on dead end street in quiet neighborhood - Centralized open layout great for accommodating larger groups Guest access You will have access to the whole basement unit. This includes full access to all 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, spacious family room, kitchen, and laundry room. Interaction with guests We will be able to suggest the best places to ski, hike, mountain bike and other fun places to visit and will be available for any other questions that you might have. As passionate skiers, mountain bikers, and lovers of the outdoors we are confident that we will be able to direct you to the destination in Utah that is best suited for you and what you like. We will provide a code to get into the property, but we always have an open line for any questions you might have or suggestions of things to do or places to eat. Other things to note This is the downstairs unit only. You will need to take stairs to get into the place. Often times there will be guests in the upstairs unit and adjacent studio apartment. We ask that you respect the other guests who are usually also out on vacation to do the same thing as you, skiing the best powder on Earth! In the summer time we are just minutes away from thousands of incredible hikes where you can go and see beautiful wildflowers, wildlife (Moose, Elk, Deer, Fox, Porcupine and much more) lakes and waterfalls, climbing routes, and mountain biking destinations. With our close proximity to Snowbird you can take a tram ride up and take advantage of all their other fun activities they offer like the alpine roller coaster, zip lines, and alpine slide, Oktoberfest and much more. Temple square and This is the Place Heritage Park are really close along with Thanksgiving point where they host the Tulip Festival and have a petting zoo. Gardener Village is a cute old historic flour mill with 22 retail shops and a close place to visit. We are close to City Creek, the outlets at Traverse Mountain and many other shopping areas. A visit to Olympic Park in quaint Park City Utah is less than 40 minutes away. We would be happy to give you plenty of other ideas of fun places to visit. This is one of the few places where you can be so closely located to all the outdoor recreation Utah has to offer along with the fun activities downtown.

Perfect place for ski bums like us. It was the no fuss place we were looking for. We didn’t want anything special just a close place to to access little cottonwood with clean beds, bathroom and kitchen. Thank you!

Great place, the host was great and very communicative during our stay. 4 stars due to the upstairs neighbor seemed to be awake ever night, all hours of night. Not a loud neighbor but you can hear them walking during sleeping hours. The tub doesn’t drain very well.

Good space for the price

Manager is really easy to communicate with, and the space you get with three bedrooms for the listed price is good! It is well kept, but not fancy. It is quite a drive into the foothills of East Sandy. Great if you want to get skiing quick, but a bit out there if hoping to visit other locales across the valley.

Originally there was a small group of us to visit Salt Lake, It ended up just two of us. After finding the door to Narnia, we found our unit. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and how well stocked the kitchen was. Spacious bedrooms as well as more than enough room for the two of us. The house is just down the road from Snowbird & Alta which was amazing. We also went to Brighton and Solitude which was only a short drive. All of the directions provided were right on point and we had an amazing stay. Thank You.

Great location for ski trip

Overall the apartment was great. Real clean and as described. The location for skiing Alta and Snowbird is great. My only complaint would be noisy neighbors. I didn't realize the upstairs was a rental too, my fault for not reading the description thoroughly enough. We had two late nights (after midnight) of noisy guests marching around upstairs, not a huge deal but thought it was worth mentioning.

Our group of 4 enjoyed staying in this apartment. Very roomy and comfortable rooms as well as the living space. Super convenient to all skiing resorts being right at the base of Little Cottonwood Canyon. Will def stay there again next season!

Place is nice, it’s half underground, but spacious and clean. It’s a great place to crash if you want to ski snowbird or alta. If you are looking for luxury, this is not your place as it is no frills, but it gets the job done and the landlords are nice.

This place was super convenient for getting to Alta/Snowbird. About a 10 minute walk from the house. There was everything we needed in terms of amenities and the host was very fast to respond when we had questions.

Great location and accommodations for quick access to Snowbird and Alta. You’re so close to the mouth of Little Cottonwood, you here the siren when road closes/opens from avalanche control. Condo is spacious, beds comfortable and showers were hot. Definitely will return to This prime location.

Other than that we found it welcoming and perfect for our needs attending a business conference and being able to enjoy home prepped meals and home like living arrangements. Definitely would stay again. Is there a listing for the whole house? We might be interested in multiple units next year!

We had no problems with any of the appliances or furniture. The washer and dryer were nice, detergent was supplied. We had a little trouble trying to wash our faces, as the sinks in the one bathroom were bowls set up high on the sink cabinet. There was coffee and spices in the cabinet, we appreciated that. The beds are comfy and there were plenty of bath towels and wash cloths. Since we were in the basement apt. it was sometimes colder than we liked. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed out time.

Perfect for a ski weekend

Austin and Izzy's apartment was great for a 4 day vacation to Salt Lake. With a group of four, the apartment was generously spacious and had all the necessary basic amenities - we especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. Proximity to LCC is difficult to beat as well. Would certainly recommend to friends, and will look into returning for future ski trips!
