We had an extended weekend getaway in Breckenridge. This condo is well appointed with a stunning kitchen. Perdect 2 bed/2 bath condo for 2 couples to enjoy a weekend in the mountains. We did attend the Breckenridge Oktoberfest which was a 5 minute walk from the condo. We enjoyed this condo so much that we plan on booking it again for next Fall

A few cons:
The freezer door was broken and wouldn't shut all the way, we found this issue in previous stays comments.
Check-in wasn't smooth at all, the front desk didn't have our check-in information and that took a few calls to sort out. Pretty frustrating and nerve wracking when you think you may not have a place to stay when you arrive.

I researched this unit and read every review listed on vrbo before we came on the trip, because I was concerned about the lack of a 5 star rating on this property. Things that turned out to be accurate and true about this unit are the amazing location, the excellent communication with the management company, the spacious living room and well kept up and beautiful bathrooms. They also provided fans and humidifiers that were clean and well kept. The issue I have with this unit is that it is listed as high end, and yet there are many problems with the kitchen appliances. The ice maker in the fridge does not work at all (although we asked at the desk and they did provide bags of ice for us on request), the dish washer bottom rack is missing all of its wheels, plus the soap does not disperse through the machine, but runs down the door, the tea kettle spout is melted off, the microwave above the stove has a large sign saying out of service (a small one is placed on the counter), and after reading the review for the week before mine, I was too scared to try the stove for fear it wouldn’t turn off! Did these things ruin our trip…no…BUT when the first words in your listing title are HIGH END, you expect better than this. More important is the fact that everything but the stove issue has been noted in these reviews here since at least last December and nothing has been done about them. These issues dampen what is truly a unit in one of the best locations in Breckenridge!

The property looked nice upon initial entry and set-up wise, is family friendly. However, we found ourselves extremely dissappointed with the quality of the unit at the premium associated. Our issues were 5-fold:1) Ice Maker - The ice maker did not function and after communication with the property mgmt team, still were not able to resolve nor were we offered a simple ice tray so that we could make our own. 2) Master ceiling fan - simply did not work, so we had to resort to using a noisy box fan that cluttered an already small master.3) Oven - The oven works; however, it seemingly does not like to be turned off. After using the oven several times, each time when we initially attempted to turn off the oven (despite the dials all showing off), it remained on. Each time we would have to play with the knobs until something "clicked" and the unit finally turned off. This can obviously be a safety hazard for those with children and also heats up the living space which can already be warm in the summer.4) Dishwasher - The dishwasher operates, so this gripe is more of ease of use and lack of upkeep. The unit is missing many of the lower wheels that aid the bottom drawer in sliding out, so laborsome to pull out the drawer and then return to the washer.5) Hot water - One early evening we lost hot water completely. The property mgmt staff were friendly and prompt to respond; however, there was no transpanecy as to what was being done to remedy. Indication was made that they would work with the building maintenance team to address, though no time table for resolution or updates were provided. We simply had hot water available a couple hours later...The overall experience left us wanting. Very dissappointed in the quality of the property and would advise against staying here. Would be a bit more accepting of these issues at a "value" property not one carrying the premium this presently does.

The location was better than we expected. It was right across the street from our favorite brew house and we were right at the top of Main Street where all the good shopping started. The bedrooms were not the biggest but the large kitchen and great room more than made up for it. We loved the little balcony to top it off. The property overall was excellent.

We were looking for a place near Breck we could stay for 1 night while we transitioned to a new ski mountain. We found this property in the Water House and took a chance - we were blown away. Very convenient to walk to town for dinner and the Quicksilver lift to ski. Condo was clean and very well kept. You know you have a good Colorado rental when there are fans and humidifiers provided in every room! The property came with ski valet and parking which was a great perk.
The only negative was the check in process. You have to use the front desk of the entire property and they need a form from the unit management. When we arrived, they did not have the form and it took 30 minutes to get it cleared. That was frustrating with my kids sitting in a car waiting for me. But management got it figured out. Once we got into the condo, we were blown away. Highly recommend this property.

Arrival instructions were not as clear as they could have been especially since we arrived at 3 am due to travel delays. Desk manager actually said Summit County Mountain Resorts did not notify them of our arrival at all. Water House is managed by Vacasa which was not mentioned anywhere in my rental correspondence which made us unsure if we were even at the right place to check in.
Unit itself was as described but not cleaned properly since there were some items left by other tenants (sock, wrappers) and it smelled of fried food as soon as we entered. I also requested that a light bulb be replaced in the master bathroom and although mngmnt confirmed the request, it was never fixed.
However we did enjoy our stay very much and the location was great with available ski valet.

The condo itself is wonderful - everything you need included, even a washer & dryer with laundry detergent was provided! Linens and Towels were A+. Tea kettle with a melted plastic spout - toxic. Called management and was told they were not responsible for this and couldn't help. Cannot load dishwasher - broken slide-in tray. Blunt kitchen knives that make meal prep impossible. Booked for 5 nights but was provided tiny amount of toiletries. Called management multiple times but was told to come to Keystone office to pick them up. Property was listed as high end but didn't have the comparable service. Very disappointed.

This is a fabulous rental overall. Awesome location for winter or summer stays. Great layout, spacious living room, and overall very nice. We would not hesitate to stay here again! There were a few details though that needed attention: 1. burned out bulbs in the guest room and master bath; 2. dishwasher lower drawer needs repair, and 3. inoperable blinds that need repair. Finally, not something broken but for a rental this nice it seemed odd to us that the pots and pans were needing replaced as were the various mis-matched dishes. Overall we really liked this place and would look to stay again, but hope these details will be addressed by the owners next time.

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. It was very comfortable and clean. The location was perfect for us. Easy walk to all the restaurants and shops on Main Street and several trailheads. We only ate breakfasts and snacks in the condo, but there seemed to be enough pots and pans if you chose to do more cooking. Best of all, it was very quiet. We heard no one in the halls or out on the street. I gave all 5 stars except for the property’s general condition. I rated that a 4 because of a few things: the lights are a little dim in the bathrooms, the built in microwave should be removed or repaired (there is one on the counter that works), and the dishwasher is sub par. There was great communication with the property manager until our last day. We were hoping to take showers before our checkout at 10 am. However, there was no hot water. I texted the manager and got no response. We understand that it probably could not have been fixed for us, but they could have acknowledged the problem. I hope it was fixed for the next guests.We would definitely stay in this condo again.
